Misunrestood no need to get all defensive on me! Just a mistake!

They will be the best team in Greene County! I didn't say outside the county!

SG should be tops because of the athletes they have. WG should finish a strong second as they have everybody back from last year I think. CD will be third and NG will finish fourth, they will not be to good this coming from another source.

Actually when you look SG's feeders they have the most athletes from top to bottom. There might another athlete from one of the other schools but it usually just one and no more than 2-3. SG's will have 8-12 year in and year out thats the bottom line. The other feeder schools might win a championship in one of the sports but when they combine its no comparision! Thats what uneducated fans and parents fail to see!!!!!

He can't develop his on opions for them foggy from, well you know! He didn't play to much because he could'nt get his breath from all the booze and marlboro's he used! He will also be lucky to graduate but I think there going to try to push him through!

Bottom line is that no County School will ever win on a consistant basis! The only way that will happen is to consolidate! Some people don't like that idea because there kid might not get to play or some are just to blinded to see admit it!

There is not enough talent on these teams to compete. Sure from time to time they will do ok but if you take a look at the feeder programs SG has the best from top to bottom and that is not enough to way outside of Greene County to compete.

No one didn't say they were not good kids! Just because you show up to practice doesn't mean anything. As for Coach Beets, Carter has tried to hire him twice, some where on the other side of Knoxville not sure, West, Cherokee and a school in Atlanta, GA. to just name a few. He didn't want live to far away with the health of his parents! Now is there anything you don't get about that. Know your facts before you start talking!!!

I was there and they couldn't guard an old person. Everybody has been talking about they are going to win so many games, well this was one of them. UC is way down this and if WG can't beat them then there in trouble to break double win season. You also talk about how good of coach WG has, when you have an 8 or 9 point lead with about 1 minute to go and you lose, that comes down to coaching!

The word is that its about 50/50 but a few are saying it shoud go through or some other type of rule will be put in place. If that happens it will be at least another year for a solution, because they really don't have plan B! they are banking on the one on the table. Yes you are right but what goes on behind closed doors is not public knowledge 007!

Your right they don't create postions in a sense! The job Helton took is the job vacated by Coach Beets when he left to Coach at West. A coaching job was created when they forced him out so on the other hand they do create! They meaning booster club working hand in hand with the board members that represent WG's district!

Thats how much WG fans and parents know, if Beest was not a good coach why has every school from Knoxville to Upper East TN. been after him to coach! The reason kids weren't interested Beest demanded respect and hard work! These kids are spoiled and lazy! The coach now lets them get away with a lot and thats why they play if you can say that-play that is!

First of all Greenlee hasn't turned anything around. He took over a program that was on its way up and was coached well to start with. Let see what Greenlee can do next year with just about all players he started with! Second WG can not beat UC! That is not putting down the team just being realisitc.

Your right BARB in almost evrything you say! I can't say a whole lot because of monitoring that is done on here I could lose my job. There will more changes than that. One big one is practicing there is more but have to wait and see if they go through. I like you and your knowledge (a bit foggy at times) but we can work through that, just listen to me and you will be fine!

Thanks! I would tell who I heard but then some would figure out who I am and where I am getting my info from. They have been wearing this person out since last year to take it but he will not. He knows what is going on up at WG and wants no part of it.

Why don't you get a life and take what someone tells for the facts that maybe you really don't have a clue. There is going to be another realignment coming next year.

I am not saying all of this years team if any right now! In the past 2 or 3 years it was full and I know them as well! Most of them I know there parents real well. I just call it like I see it, if you don't believe that ask my kids.

I sat on a board that knows plus I sit on a state board and it was because most schools can not accommedate GHSs Band and for the other sports it is all about prestige. If GHS played down then they would have to play most county schools. There not going to do that because they think they are better and it would be lowering there standards.As for WGHSs band, they will not travel to away games, for right now! Come on now your going to have come up with something better that! See you don't who I am and trust me I know what I am talking about.

No its a privilage to play not a right!! The only right the parents should have is to be able to go to the games and support the athletes and coachs. The booster club has done a good job...running everybody off!!! The coachs pay taxes as well what your point.

The answer is if they were in 2a and that does mean all sports if you understand that the band would have to play at the football games. Now what part of that don't you understand!!!

I'm not wanting them to fail, just being realistic. First you have to succeed to fail. People need to get in the real world and quit living in a fanasty world. Every one wants to blame the coach's but has any one every thouht to look what they are coaching.

Thats why people like you get on here run your mouth, you don't know anything. The reason that GHS isn't in 2a is because of the band. 2a schools that they would be playing couldn't hold there band. Only WGHS has visitor bleachers and it would take all of them to hold the band. So the next time you want to talk about something know your facts and maybe you be so dumb about the subjects your trying to talk about. Shouldn't have put what I did and for that I apologize!
