1. QUOTE(thecrippler2222 @ Apr 8 2007 - 12:19 PM) 826432353saw gj run at the bama relays, even if he hadn't graduated he wouldnt win state...

3200: Clabo - 9:37 (will be the only person to run a faster 3200 than my 5k pace)

    1600: Johnson - 4:26

    800: Patterson - 1:57

4x8: DL - 7:58 (if everyone runs it, but since top guys will be running the 16 it will probably just be like 8:10)

your stupid...if GJ was still in high school he would still destroy noone would be close.....again.....

he ran like a 1 57 amd he just came off an injury...but he's not in hs so it doesnt matter

  2. First of all it is CPA's trio!! Led by senior Sully Sullivan. He jumped 12' is sophmore year as runner up and last year was jumping 12'6' and 13' two weeks before state and broke his wrist the day before sectionals. He should be the favorite to win it along with Cook! both will jump right at 13' and probably will be at 13'6'' by the end of the year. Lee will be up there as well probably 12'6''! But i say they go 1 2 3 in State!!

  3. Welll well well, looks like someone has a daddy because im pretty sure after yesterday DL is 0-1 in the district!!!!! CPA 2 David Lipscomb nuthin!!!!! I mean district tourney in basketball and now first game in baseball!! and good luck to there soccer team!! Jacobie Olin pitched a 3 hitter at CPA to lead a ferocious lion squad to victory! it will be a interesting rematch on thursday at Lipscomb! Oh and by the way 70mph Holt was pitching!

  4. QUOTE(aauboy @ Feb 28 2007 - 10:21 AM) 826393081Did Maddox get outcoached? Need more depth? Whatever the case maybe, I'm sure CPA will address it in the off season. They'll do whatever it takes to win. /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

To answer your question MaddUx DIDNT get outcoached. In fact i think he coached a great game. CPA did exactly what they wanted to do gettting Z the ball early. Then GC went into a zone which is great for a team who has the leading 3 point shooter in the state......but we didnt shooot well. That was the difference...they made their jumpers and we didnt....IF anything i would say their coach could have lost the game for them...I mean when Z is on the bench....you attack the middle...when he is in with 2 fouls....you attack the middle! Maddux didnt get outcoached!

  5. QUOTE(norespect @ Feb 28 2007 - 09:10 AM) 82639296051-47 GC!!! This game is for all the many haters out there. Giles County came out excited and battled the entire game. CPA gave us a scare with the post play of that huge number 12, but Creshawn Holt and the Giles County defense stepped it up in the second half. Tryce Nelson was ON with his shooting and the big threes by Z Roberts as soon as he came in and later in the 4th quarter got the GC fans and the 5 men on the floor back in the game. Giles County brought alot of fans to Spring Hill who did an excellent job of staying up and yelling the entire game. Good game by CPA but I guess your Facebook group will have to find another topic of conversation. We'll see Pearl Cohn on Thursday for another thrilller.

For starters, i have never seen a group of such classless kids in my life! the GC student section was ridiculous!! I dont think they cheered for their team one time, it was all at attacking the CPA student section. At one point they started chanting "Go read the Bible", like what? i mean im sorry but your students represent your school and they might be "nice" people but it made GC look like a bunch of uncivilized rednecks!

Now to the game.....The game went back and forth the whole time. CPA came out early and with a 9-2 lead. Thats when there crowd started calling "Z" garbage....yeah ok /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> ! Z got 2 fouls early in the second and had to sit most of it. Thats when GC came back and took the lead. And then GC decided to hold the ball.....which i dont know why considering that Z had been stopping them and now he was out yet they held the ball. In the second half GC went to a zone and CPA couldnt hit any three's! GC was shooting great jump shots and got lots of second oppertunities on offense. At the end of the game there was a controversial/blocking call that went in GC favor. That was it. With a 45 sec. left CPA would have tied and had a chance to go up 1. Instead GC got the ball and hit their foul shots. CPA had a great season and are going to be a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming years!!!

  6. After watching the DL vs. GC film this morning it is very evident that CPA CAN win tonight! Slater was in a funk the whole game and DL couldnt hit anything from beyond the arc or at the free throw line....not to say that GC didnt beat them....but they are very capable of being beaten! ITs going to be a great game tonight....and GC better bring some people cause if not its going to be all purple and gold!! /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

  7. QUOTE(nowtro @ Feb 25 2007 - 09:31 PM) 826389312I heard CPA got the technical because they asked to sub a player...I think the kid popping the balloon resulted in a warning and the T came a few mins. after that.

They actually got a double technical, which is why they got 4 free throws, they gave a technical for asking to sub a player and the balloon going off.

  8. QUOTE(cardinals_09 @ Feb 25 2007 - 04:13 PM) 826388772I'm taking GC by 3-7 points. From what I saw in the score, Spring Hill was able to keep it close, so that doesn't bold well for CPA against GC. GC blew out SH in both meetings this year, but we'll just have to wait 'til Tuesday to find out who wins this one. It should be a VERY exciting game and I wish good luck to both teams!!!

    GO CATS!!!

The score of the CPA Spring Hill game is very misleading!!! Spring Hill was NEVER in the game!! The whole first half CPA shot awful and still got up to an 18 point lead!! It was like a dunk contest for "Z"!!! In the second half the only reason it got close was because the refs wanted it to.....at one point they called a technical because a CPA elementary student accidentally popped a balloon when SH had the ball!!

  9. QUOTE(SHHSRaiders27 @ Feb 25 2007 - 12:23 PM) 826388447Z Mason is a freaking beast. Is he seriously a Sophomore as introduced? Spring Hill absolutely blew that game with their free throw shooting in the end and that ridiculous first half. Great game by CPA...I'll be there Tuesday, I look forward to watching Z play. CPA by 5.

OH YEAH he is a sophmore....so he is going to be causing havok for two more years!! What colors are GC??

  10. QUOTE(cardinals_09 @ Feb 24 2007 - 08:53 PM) 826387755Congrats to GCHS!!!! I'm glad I was proven wrong, and now GC has possibly an easy route to the region championship game, which would send the Cats to the AA Sectionals for the first time in two years. Good luck GC the rest of the way through and c'mon Spring Hill, beat Pearl Cohn and help to make it an all D-10 semifinals!!!!

    GO CATS!!!!

hahahah get ready for a "easy" game against CPA....the score was much more decieving then how the game really went! CPA dominated wasnt even a close one.....Z had 5 dunks and an alley opp!!!!

  11. Giles Co. better watch out...because I bet Lipscomb isnt going to fold like they did to Pearl! CPA should take out Spring Hill, especially being at home. I think its no question that MLK will make it to the championship game on the other side!! if DL and CPA have to play each other again....who knows what will happen??? but i think CPA would beat Giles co. if so i take CPA over MLK this time...but if Giles or DL beat CPA then i would take MLK!! TOnights matchup to watch is definetley GC vs. DL!!! cant wait to here who won that one!!

  12. QUOTE(ebbybm @ Feb 21 2007 - 08:12 AM) 826382439Congrats to MLK for winning the 9AA District Tournament over CPA. There were non-believers but MLK has peaked at the right time. Congrats also goes out to Doc Shelton for receiving coach of the year but to relinquish it over to his assistant, Coach Sizemore, who ran the squad while Doc was ill. MLK will play Saturday at MLK at 7:30p.m.

WHAT THE HECK!!!! Could someone please tell me why Doc Shelton was given the Coach award!!! I mean he is a great guy but he was ill half the season!!!!!! thats ridiculous!!! and from what i saw at the game....he was pretty reluctant to hand it over to his assitant!!!!!

  13. QUOTE(thecrippler2222 @ Feb 22 2007 - 05:31 PM) 826384876hahaha are u serious? someone hasnt been paying attention this season. GR avgs almost 30 pts a game. he played an average game for him on tuesday. he plays what you call "lights out" almost every game. and recently he has actually gotten a little support from his teammates. GR is probably one of the top 10 players in MLKs history (which is only like 20 years but still solid)

hahahah are you serious...have you watched any of there games vs. CPA!! The last two times before district they played he was held to 24 and 13!!!!!!! so i would say that he did have a GREAT game in the championship!! If these two teams get another chance to play....mark my words it will be a different game! Gerald got hot quick hitting his first 3 three's! so not to take away from his ability because he does usually play lights out....but CPA and Anderson guarding him has worked 2 out of the last 3 games so watch out MLK!
