Honestly I think we could be the best in the state this year. Our coach is the best Franklin has ever seen and I wouldnt be suprised if we get national recognition. The only team I am slightly scared of is Brentwood just because a rival game can always go either way. Derek "CrazyHands" Batt seems like a top 20 in TN and kind of reminds me of Quentin Richardson. Deonte "The Friendly Giant" Siske is compared to Shaq. With this kind of combo on the floor they could be unstoppable.

Saw these guys play Friday night and they are a serious force to be reckoned with. The most dangerous thing about Franklin is that they have alot of dual threat players who can drive in low as well as shoot it from the point. Derek Batt (6-4), Gabe Glass (6-5) and Ryan Glover (6-4) can kill you both ways. I also stress the fact that you never, under any circumstances, give the guys any time to shoot. All they need is a split second and they will capitalize. Siegel will need to play a 3-2 zone defense in order to slow these guys down, because they always seem to beat the man-to-man.

They were very vocal last year....But the most impressive site at a state tournament I have seen was two years ago when Middleton and Bolivar(from the same county)were playing for state championships...I think everyone from Hardeman County was at those two games.....When the AAA game started the place was almost empty....

last year at state siegel had twice the number of fans that bolivar had

They are out of Virginia wise man. Do you know anything about basketball? How can they get in the way of our state title? Key word "Virginia" Duh? they will only make us stronger. You must be from east or middle TN. We don't need a tune up for you guys.

Lets keep it on topic then. Oakland is goin to win the district and region. If you can not agree on that then you havent seen Oakland. Oakland will go through the districts with some problem...like every year. The when they win district the will go into region and small everyone who even looks at them wrong. Oakland might be the best team in middle tn. Lets all go look at the mid tn thread. I didnt see anyone else even near them. Whites creek is the only team in middle tn that even has a chance of making it a good game. We will see who is still playin when we all get to MTSU for state.
