I think that summertown will take care of conersville, but I'm not so sure about Fayetteville. Either way they will secure a nice playoff spot and will either go 8-2 or 9-1 in regular season which is pretty darn good for only the second year.
Summertown has never messed around in any sport they played.

Not at all.... CA is the only team in this Region to prove me wrong, but I think Fayetteville is the team to beat this year. CA struggled last year with F-ville with Garrison and Thompson. I'm a CA fan, but I also respect other teams abilities and call it like I see it playing out.
Why the revelation

BUMP!
here is the local paper article on the scrimmage Saturday

just found the score, this was an utter beatdown. guess union city was super overrated.

the ct s+s is the coacht strength plus success rating.
for those who don't really know what standard deviation is, the lower the number the better. It's essentially a measure of consistency (at least in this case) IE a team that scores 10 points every game, no more or no less would have a stdev of 0, or no deviation from the middle.
-
I think we might surprise you in the championship.
are you aware you misspelled bulldawGs? also, I can tell you are most likely a player and its best if you stay off coacht. You can only do harm to your team by talking a bunch of crap.
-
Is there a live streaming of the game - either radio or TV ?
yes, nfhs network; type in Columbia Academy. I think it will cost like 9.99 a week. (NCS also broadcasts their games, but their announcers are horribly boring)

We felt like we should have had another gold that season as well. Trousdale beat us 13-6 in the quarterfinals on The Creekbank. It was about 10 degrees and was the coldest I've ever been in my life. That game ended our 27 game winning streak. It was a tough night. We lead 7-6 and Trousdale drove the field at the end of the game to beat us.
I went to that game my senior year, it was also the coldest I have ever been. I remember leaving and walking by a bank close to the high school and it saying like -4 degrees. (I think senior year atleast, was that 2009, well...football season 2008?)

That's what I'm going to do while watching those private school boys at Cooper Field....except I'm going to have that Yankee man buy me a hotdog!
my guess is a few trucks isn't going to stop CA's offense.
-
Going to be hard for them city slickers to see from behind the trucks. GO KEES!
theres something ironic about someone calling CA, from a town known for mule day, city slickers.
-
i can gurantee 1 thing...UC aint gonna finish the year #1 and dresden aint gonna finish #2 poll or no poll.......there whole season is OVER they were beat by peabody who ur poll has #3 SMH
data is only good information when the information you want is being projected. When reality hits, the data is useless. And reality shows that the 4 teams left are the best 4 teams in the state. ANALYZE THAT.
-
i thought thats what playoffs were for to weed out those playing weak schedules.....exactly why everybody wanted playoffs in college.......just because u played great all season doesnt mean ur the best....yes wc is a example........we were beat by a better team..........but if head to head dont matter in your "poll" its just plain stupid..........the sec standings reconize head to head....are they wrong
and the other side, just because you had a rough season, if you made it through and ended up winning it all...?
-
Well not smart enough to watch full games for free. Saw a few highlights but not enough to tell anything really.
is the tssaa network the NFHS network? and if so, can you watch them without a subscription?
-
So, you are saying that Manassas, who has a 5-8 record should be ranked somewhere between 5th and 8th in 2A just because they made the quarterfinals. That is not what this poll is, this is a measure of on field performance for every game played this season. That is great, they are 1 out of 4 teams left in the playoffs, that doesn't automatically make them the 4th best team all season. Just leave it at that, they are 1 out of 4 teams left to play for the championship. One has nothing to do with the other.
actually, yes I am. in my opinion the best 2 teams are the ones playing in the championship. And by your definition, lets say Manassas ended up winning it all, you would still not have them ranked number 1?
-
i understand the point of the rankings, but they don't reflect reality, when there are 4 teams left, they should be the top 4 by default. Part of being the top is having luck with schedules or whatever.
-
crow beat me to it,we never underestimate teams we can't afford to.CA is talented a across the board one player doesn't get you to the Semi's.We have a lot of respect for the whole team.As crow said em ain't us!
in all reality, if fans underestimate it doesn't matter anyways, and if coaches are looking at these boards than there is a more fundamental issue!
-
CA's #1 only had 2 TD's against SP and several other of CA's weapons scored the rest. As have CA has done it all year.... #1 is only part of the team, he's not the team.
just let em talk about only 1 guy, they may be pleasantly surprised there are several other players on the field.
-
lol CA keeps winning, and keeps dropping in rankings.
-
The 1A games are the closest of the week for the entire state. These should be two incredible games, I hope I can find them online!!!
CA and NCS have both been on NFHS Network all year.
-
This game is for the silver ball, sorry just how it is.
might as well not play then. the two teams should just meet out on the 50 yard line and hug it out.
-
80 yard sp td. not a lot of defense tonight i don't think!
-
-
more like a 5 yard pass and 45 yard run.
CA has like a 40 yard run on 1st play from scrimmage
-
7-0 Pirates....we passed down the field on them
more like a 5 yard pass and 45 yard run.
CA/Whitwell

if im not mistaken, whitwell had negative yardage in the 2nd half.
