If its a big game that means something with Heritage playing White House always take Heritage to win as long as Petrone is at the helm.  Here is something to chew on, as the only coach in Heritages history any player that has played for four years for him has been in a Championship Game and most have walked away Champs.

Since the district realignment four years ago 9aa has not been swept. If Heritage wins Tuesday 9aa will have put a team in the championship game twice in 4 years. 10aa is excellent right now and 9aa has been down, but it isn't as one sided as you suggest.

I would say 9aa is way down, only one team with an overall winning record. With that said this years Heritage team is pretty solid.

I think Tyler Welborne (Heritage) should be strongly considered as well.  Maybe the top PG in the District IMO.

Totally agree without Welbourne, Heritage doesn't win 20 games. He makes the team go and from what I have seen he is by far best point in District. I put him in second right behind Desmarais.

Looks like there will only be one team with an overall winning record. That is something that is rare with a seven team district.

What you said is all that happened. Older hard nosed coaching. When you hear being investigated by the BCSD it would mislead you to something more.

 

If this is what has happened it is truly sad. Looking at HS basketball now days you can see it is just not as good as in past as a whole. Sure you have some good teams here and there, but as a whole the quality is way down and I believe it is because you are not able to coach kids anymore because you have to make sure not to hurt any of the parents or kids feelings.

Today my HS coach would have served 10 to 20 years in the big house. I garentee everyone who played for him loves him now.

There is no doubt, Heritage is for real. Gave Goodpasture their first loss tonight with a total team effort.

This is why you never doubt Petrone, year in and year out he puts a solid team on floor. Every kid that has played four years for him has at minimum made it to the District Championship Game.

What happened in the WHH and Westmoreland game? How did Westmoreland only score 17? Can someone that was there please fill me in?

 

The sad thing for Westmoreland is that the majority of their 17 points where free throws I think they were in double bonus in first quarter maybe early second quarter.

Trust me the Heritage game score was closer than the game. Could have easily been 60-17.

When looking back and at history of Petroni heritage teams , they have stayed pretty much the same .... maybe be different this time around because feel this is their year with those 8th graders who won county championship finally being seniors ! I always pull for both White House teams unless facing each other....

I am not sure who said that the press was in effective, but they are wrong ., heritage had 23 turnovers unless that is their average which I doubt . Press was effective and sped up the patriots . Devils just didn't capitalize on the turnovers . heritage doesn't like pressure that was evident . All honesty patriots did not win that game the devils lost that game . A huge difference ..

Why all the hate on the Patriots because they can also play a lot better and will as time goes on.

What a night for the Patriots. Even halftime of boys games was a Heritage Clinic with Dave Upton providing a course on how to shoot. I guess you could say a money night for Heritage.

Every kid that has ever played for Petrone since the creation of White House Heritage High School has appeared in a least one District Championship game and a lot of them have appeared in multiple Championship games.

So I say Petrone got it going on.

Big win for Patriots over Cubs last night. They are a very young team that Petrone will have rolling by tournament time.

Little John Elway was running for his life all night. Jordan Holmes and company dominated the Fairveiw offensive line. The game plan to stop Dillon Todd 48 backfired because Bradley Evans 32 ran over the Fairview linebackers and secondary. Without the injuries early on we would have been the district champs and playing Lipscomb in round 2. That being said, us poor ole rednecks are rolling into the Beverly Hills of Nashville Tn and want to see everybody in Motown there as well. Something special might occur if we come out with a good game plan and the determination we had tonight. The Eagles represented Westmoreland well tonight.

That District Trophy does look good, come by and check it out when you come play us in basketball. It is the one that says Football District Champs.

Congrats to Heritge. I honestly thought they would finish 3rd at the beginning of the season. They proved me wrong. Looks like they keep getting better every week. Good luck in the playoffs. Represent district 9AA and win some games.

Back at you, when it come playoff time it is time to cheer for the District. Good luck to Westmoreland, if that running back can eat clock you might just surprise $PA.

The game was a lot closer than score. Greenbrier is all class, a very good team. Would not want to play them in playoffs.

I had a sneaky feeling our O would show out in this one. Too much beef on that offensive line. The Dline is dominating as well the past 3 weeks. That White House Heritage game stings tonight. I'm optimistic that we might get them in the playoffs. I'd love to play them again on there little cow pasture of a field with the same refs.

Don't worry you will be a four or five seed and get CPA if you don't lose in first round. By the way when was your last District Title. The city of White House is like Fort Knox, we just keep the Gold District Trophy in the city.

Will the Bobcats pee on the Patriot Parade through 9-AA?  You know how cats are, always spraying everywhere.  Are the Patriots getting a little antsy knowing that their first District championship is easily within their grasp or will they fold under the pressure?  Greenbrier must win this one to have any chance of making the playoffs.  I believe that they come up short this year and the Patriots ride high into the playoffs, at HOME!  Prediction: Patriots 24, Boobcats 14.

This might be the Patriots hardest game yet.

That has got to hurt Westy's, get a rare win against the Blue Devils and the District Champ is still from the city of White House.

There must be a lot a scared people in White House.  I sure hadn't seen the trash talk I usually see.  Usually all you her is BDP Blue Devil Pride.  BDP has turned to BDS Blue Devil Scared.  Eagles will finish out this series with a win.  Book It.
