  1. I don't know of any back talking or kids getting in trouble . There working hard to play in probably the toughest region in the state .

Most definitely the toughest. Will be some really good teams getting losses each week in that district.

  2. I talked to one of the regulars you see at every game today for a minute out town. He said the scrimmage was a tie, but according to the people on here DC won easily. Do you know the score for the varsity? Maybe the overall game was a tie or something. It could be the freshman or JV got scored on after our varsity took care of business.

DC scored 1 defensive TD and 4 offensive TDs and Gordonsville did not score against 1st defense. Gordonsville scored several TDs with most of their main team against DC third and fourth guys. DC pretty much as the pleased on both sides of the ball.
  3. No one has mentioned Weatherly from CPA, so I will. 2nd rated PRO style QB in the state and #23 overall by 247 Sports.

Great athlete, too. Won the state high jump as a soph. and 3rd as a jr.

Any list without the Jennings kid from Dekalb County is incomplete.

Gee...this is eerily similar to your football situation. The Bald One has stated many times how the beatings from SP made your team work harder to get better. They won a state title a several years later. It shouldn't be any problem for your girls BB team to do the same. I wouldn't complain about a pounding like this. It's part of the game. Some coaches don't call off the dogs. Some do. The way to counteract is to get better so no team can do it to you.

Great from Smith Co. fan. Your girls coach leaves the 6'8 girl in til the final horn or very close to it no matter what the score is. Takes all other starters out but leaves her to pad the stat sheet.
