Ravenwood High School will be hosting a Varsity Summer Basketball Tournament on June 20-21st. It will be run like an AAU Tournament with Pool Play on the 20th and then an actual tournament format on the 21st. This will give you an opportunity to play for something before you take off for the dead period. You will play 3 games on each day and the cost is $200. We won’t put district opponents in your pool but you could end up playing them in a tournament format. It will be limited to 24 teams. Please email patrickw@wcs.edu for more information or to reserve a spot.

  7. Well, when the new principal fired Corey's mom, I think that may have burned a few bridges...smart move Gideon! You have an NBA player as an alumnus and you fire his mom? I think she was a teacher's aide at that...even if she's dead weight, she's got a lifetime contract if I am in charge. Just keep those donations rolling in! But that gives you an idea of the brainiacs who are making decisions over there. When Mrs. Grogan was principal, Corey came back all the time. He was also in college during that time but still...

I know for a fact that Corey was very helpful to Coach Hooper while he was there. He helped financially with new floors in the locker rooms, shoes, and uniforms. Coach Hooper always had nice things to say about Corey and how he helped the program.
