I think we played at Hancock during the regular season a

couple of years ago and for some reason they didn't make it

to Cosby. The AD at Hancock promised he "owed us" a home

game (gonna be a great $$ gate for Cosby) and Hancock is living up to their promise this season. I would love to see a home&home series every year between these two teams.

rooster---- Just because we have a great record at home doesn't mean there is any "cookin" going on. Just a lot of great basketball being played and a lot of loud Eagle Fans.

Wow, what can I say. Coach Flatford and The Cosby Eagles

were ready to play last night. Great overall team effort.

After the thrilling finish to the girls game,

(way to go Lady Eagles) the crowd was fired up and really

got behind the boys. This win had to be especially sweet after last year's games. Let's keep it up. The Eagles still have a lot of basketball left to play.

Cman, it was a short ride home from "Redneckville" for us but it sure was a fun one. Good luck next week.

Cosby is 8-0 right now. And we have played a pretty tough schedule so far. Mark McGaha is playing and playing great.

Josh Ford is also having a great season so far. He's a real leader and plays great defense. (He set a Cosby Football record, passing for 1,000+ yards this year)

#25 is Kent Black and yep he can still shoot. (That's all I got to say about that

The Eagles have a tough week coming up. We're at CAK tonight. Then we have Unaka the 7th and Greenback the 10th at home. The Lady Eagles are 8-3 and we're all proud of them also. Good luck to your team too.

The Rockwood girls did seem very young and inexperienced during the game at Cosby. When Cosby attacked with the press they had a hard time even making the 1st pass. It seems like they have some athletic girls but they had a hard time getting any kind of flow on offense. Lots of turnovers, many unforced. But if they are mostly sophs and juniors they could have a good team later if they work hard.

We've got a great offense &have been playing awesome D.

Not sure if "T-Dog" was making the 6-0 vs Cupcakes reference

to us or not.(After re-reading his post. I now understand which school that was directed at.)

We have beaten two AA schools and Unaka,Oneida

& Harriman. The only "easy" game was TSD. The Eagles are averaging just over 70 points/game and holding their opponents to around 50.

But, I would of course rather be 6-0

the last 6 games of the season instead of the 1st.

I've been asking myself a lot of questions about that half

also. I wish I could have watched that game. I've been watching this group of Lady Eagles since they were freshman and they do play hot and cold. It seems like we always have

big scoring runs or allow big runs. I'm not taking any credit away from The Unaka girls or their coach but

The Lady Eagles may have had more to do with the big 2nd half than The Lady Rangers.

Superbeast...I have only seen one game so far

this year (PF at home). Your playing time was

pretty limited because of the whistle happy refs.

I don't want to go into a lot of detail about

this years Eagles because coaches and player from other teams do post and read here at CoachT.

I will tell you I'm very excited about this years TEAM.

The Eagles are very deep off the bench and as always we have

many scoring threats(even without the "Bomb Squad"approach.)

I also like the way this years team plays defense.. I'm looking foward to seeing a game without 50 fouls called. I didn't think the game was that physical. Looking foward to seeing some games next week.

Friday. I heard today that the C.A.K. game this Friday

was moved, so they get a few days to enjoy this win.

looks pretty good to me..Cosby's next 5 games before the break include C.A.K., Rockwood & Unaka. Those games should

help sort out what looks like a pretty balanced East region.
