I watched the Halls game with Tennessee High Friday Night which was a good game. Glad to see Halls rebuilding process starting to show signs of life now. Hate seeing a good program hit the bottom like that. Not sure how it happened. I think the Bears will be to much this week but like I said getting to the playoffs is a step in the right direction.

I agree, but I think our confidence is at an all time high. We like being the underdog, having teams sleep on us for a quarter or 2. I know the playoffs are different though. My son and Duce are friends from 7-7 and off season stuff so it will be fun to watch them go head to head. I guess I just want a competitive game. Win or lose.

I'll let all the SC folks tell us how bad we will lose. Here is the historical stuff.

9-11 Overall. Last game was played in 2012 (L 14-42). Only met once in playoffs 1992 (W 14-3).

I think this has the opportunity to be a great game. With most all of our games, it comes down to missed opportunities, and turnovers.

Great game.  We had no answer to that Off. Front. not sure why the pass game made an appearance early.  I can see why Shuff was missed.  Lots of missed opportunities.  Pick Six, Fumble for TD, Bad snap on the punt.  Our 4 drops to #12, one of which was a TD for sure.

Great game, really came down to the wire.  Good luck in the future.

POURED down here earlier(10am) been overcast since then.  Was out on the field about 1:30 and it's good, not great, but good.  Everyone around here says it should hit around 7:00-8:00.

So Oak Ridge and Clinton have already had their games rescheduled for Thursday. Not heard anything from Halls but the weather for Friday night and Saturday does not look football friendly.

So now it looks like the weather will be crap. Hope all you Bristol people have hotel rooms. We like to play until 11pm.

This looks like an evenly matched game. Of course there is that "magical" line where I81 crosses into I40. Let's see if Vikes can improve from last night. Coaches made good move in starting #16. He made some things happen that weren't there before. Would have liked to have seen what would have happened had #22 not went down on the 2nd play of game. There was a glimpse of hope at RB with #36 getting some hard earned yards. Considering this was #16 first start against a top 10 team in the state I can only see him getting better.

If game is going to be played on TV or streamed post link. To far to drive with no kid involved.

We were told if we had a 1st round home game then wvlt-2 would broadcast our game. Just waiting on confirmation.

Well I said 55-49 and it ended out 47-42. Both teams must of dropped a touchdown pass last night or I would have hit this one on the nose. This game went like I thought.

If I didn't know any better I would swear you were one of the officials last night.

I can't speak for all the other 5A regions but Morristown East(3-7) is in because David Crockett(6-4) can't play in the post season.

1st playoff game since 2007 for Halls. Last time these 2 played in the playoffs was 1995 and Halls lost 23-12. This is the only time they have ever played. Other then that, I don't know. I've heard and can confirm later that this game will be on tv. That also means it will stream on the internet.

This game will be won by Defense. And by that I mean which D can cause turnovers or make stops. Both teams can and will score but the stops and turnovers will be the difference.

I would be interested to see how each was against common opponents.  I know each is  3-1 right now with the only loss coming vs West. Heritage 's  +/-  is better then ours but the only thing that stands out for me was the SD / Heritage game.  It was early in the season though.  I like this game because each team gets a playoff game, however the loser has to travel.  Go Red Devils.

Until Halls can prove they can win on the road, I'm gonna have to go with the home team in this one. AE in a close one.

I agree. We never got a road win last year. We can score but we need to tighten up on open field tackles.

I just got a tweet from the HS. Football tickets went up from $5 to $8. A 63% increase!!!!!!!!!

For those who don't know, all the Bearden games were moved to West. Same time and same order.

I thought we did ok considering. Way too much speed. And the speed is everywhere. Glad this is the only way we will play them. 1st 2 plays 70+ yard TDs. Best team we will see all season. I still like or chances.

I'm hearing that the Jamboree is no longer at Bearden and has been moved to West. Anyone else heard this?
