  1. i think that the north fans said it best when the were getting on your coach they said she went from 3/4 court press to a full court press and even the officials of your game have made comments so maybe i was wrong to each his own in other words you are all just alike
  2. i dont think anyone is bashing the school just adressing the actions of the coaching staff
  3. sat behind the bench last night just to see what kind of a coach we are talking about . sorry to say my opinion is still the same low
  4. i guess that darkness you speak of is the same reason they ignore you in the tri county seven
  5. south greene you can sit here and make all the excuses you may want but to do a team that way in any situation shows no class i know your team and have seen them many time over the years and that it the way you guys have always been your coach could have called time out and put them in a zone........where's the class better yet wheres the heart for this broken team. keep your head high north we will all be praying for merissa south greene how can you look in the mirrior
  6. a big thanks to all those who are thinking of this fine young lady. her family wishes to thank each and everyone for their deep concern for her and the family.............................. keep the prayers flowing
  7. Merissa Williams, a Junior on Sullivan North's ladies basketball team was involvd in a serious automobile accident this morning. Some of us remember Merissa and her family from the Trotters and Shooting Stars AAU. Let's all keep Merissa and her family in our prayers.
  8. heard that unaka jv played john.co. last night with the same players doesnt add up tonight does it
  9. the 6 quarter rule is out as of this year maybe last not quite sure but its is gone
  10. they have had the same amount all or most of the year havent they
  11. but why would you cancel the last game of jv talked to a freind at hv and said jv girls practiced yesterday only to find out late that the game was called off
  12. it seems that most of the young guy/gails get pushed down to middle school or maybe get pushed aside by the good ole boy method i mean you see them on year and the next they are gone bad calls will be a part of basketball as long as human nature is involved people can let some calls go as long as the ref is working to be at the right place on the floor but they are some who just cant get back and forth the girls game is progressing and speed is a huge factor if the refs cant keep up in girls play then how do they make it through the boys games
  13. i seen some bad calls over the years . these calls can be over looked if a ref is hustling up and down the floor working as hard to do the best job he/she can but lately two many just cant move anymore either they are to big or of the older side so what does tssaa do or say about this . the schools and fans pay a heavy fee to tssaa as well as the official so the players, coaches, and fans should get their moneys worth what do you think
  14. happy valley has a young bomber courtney byers can shoot it well
  15. Happy Valley beat Unicoi tonight. I think they won by 8 at the buzzer. A hard fought game, and the Warriors showed they can play well when they play as a team. Good showing from all who had floor time. The Warriors gave the underclassmen time and it paid dividends.
  16. Who rescheduled the the HV/Unicoi games for tonight? The word is not out...your post is the only place I've seen/heard anything.
  17. She is the oldest sister (a senior this year), Mariah is the younger (sophomore). I was once told by a very wise coach that you can't teach size.....
  18. Amen to Sportiemom. Anyone who has ever kept the clock or the book knows how easy it is to make a mistake. It's very easy to try and enter a player's number and hit the score button and change the score...or get on and off switched between your mind and finger because you might want to get a glimpse of your child playing.....honest mistakes that are immediately fixed; however, not nearly fast enough for the rednecks yelping in the stands thinking you've done it on purpose. Please, there are at least 2 people (usually 4) taking the score, keeping stats...and oh yea, 3 refs....does anyone honestly think a clock or bookkeeper could do anything blatant and get by. The clock keepers are volunteers making an honest living by day, leaving work and losing pay, and do it because they love the kids. Why don't some of you rednecks give up a smoke break and keep the clock or the book?.....oh and please don't make a mistake.
