Well probably my last post before the game. Hope everyone has a safe trip, no players get injured and win or lose we pull for each other next week. I hope Roberts isnt a ref tonight cause he hates our personal guts, but If we lose i'll man up and not run from ya..i promise... ROLL TRIBE
Amen

I guess that comes with experience.
Maybe not “All World†but All East Tennessee is certainly not a stretch. Looks like some people can give credit when it's due.
I can ~ I have ~ and I will
Read my past posts ~ Cap1
Sounds like you got a case of the red butt. Aren't you a Tn High fan?? I just sayin . . .

With all due respect... your comments will be different after the game Hill. I really don't think you realize what you are going up against with Swafford and Forman and the TEAM to back them up. Good luck to your team but we really don't want to hear a bunch of excuses when this is all said and done because we ALL told you so. Yea.... I'm still chewin on that classless touchdown with 40 seconds left that Stacy is going to reap tonight.
Unlike some people . . . I can take a butt whoopin and go to the house.
Sounds like DB is ALL WORLD over there in Kingsport.
-
Not much to talk about other than the SH/DB game. I think Boone has already whipped Crockett by 40 last night.
South and Tenn High by a bunch.
DB over SH by 14 ~

I can't believe Tate Isbell is going to play for the Toppers with a torn ACL.
Yeah, me too . . . If he was my kid, I don't know if I would let him play. Tate is a big boy, and carrying a lot of weight, which puts extra pressure on those knees. I'm no doctor, but I would have to think it would be a bit risky. He must of gottin a doctors OK . . .

After reading all these posts . . . Maybe Science Hill shouldn't even get on the bus to Kingsport. Sounds like we are in for a major butt whoopin!
Nahh . . . We'll be there!

A quickie note to SH fans thats not been to a game at J Fred in a few yrs, park across the street in the grass, the Civic auditorium or even at Food City and walk a little...it beats parking in the morionic school parking lot and driving in circles for an hour.
Thanks Spear24 for the parking heads-up

First the POP then the corn!! LOL ~ Hey, its gonna be fun Friday night.
Hey ~ Just a note . . . More tickets went on sale at SH and I am told they are already sold out!
-
Really though.I've sit in those seats and it's not that bad.You can still see the game.It will take a lot of people before they do open up those seats, but I expect it to happen with a big home crowd and SH crowd.A lot of people will try to stand at the score board end as well.and that can be a little dangerous,as we seen for the TH game a few years ago .
Com'on Man!

According to a good friend of mine which keeps stats on DB, see following:
DB vs SH all-time record is: W61 L21 T5
DB vs SH all-time winning percentage is: 70.115%
DB vs SH all-time at home is: W33 L10 T3
DB vs SH all-time at home win percentage is: 71.739%
DB vs SH all-time away is: W28 L13 T2
DB vs SH all-time away winning percentage is: 65.116%
Coach Clark is 19 - 1 vs SH with the only loss at SH.
db71 . . . The win margin is much larger for DB at J Fred vs the win margin in JC. Do you have that stat?

This was the first high school football game my dad took me to back when it was still in the dome. Lately, this game doesn't mean anything other than an easy Boone W.
True . . . The first Boone/Crockett game in the dome, I got to dress out as a freshman. Yes, that was 1978.
-
Boone by 40 ~ To bad its not being played in the mini dome anymore.

Science Hill has the offense to keep pace with the Indians. However, they don't have the defense to help them.
Amen

I'm gonna put my true and honest thoughts into words about this game next week. I'll be surprised if DB punts the ball more than twice in this one. The Hill lacks enough defense to win this one. For SH to win, DB has to make some critical mistakes.
Indians by 14+
I hope I'm wrong!
Atmosphere should be electric!!!

Final. SH-76 TN High-48.
Unbelievable . . .
-
Can't help but wonder where we'd be at today had Science Hill not done the Scott Smith experiment...
AMEN . . . THE PLAYERS PAID FOR IT TOO . . .
-
You are right. You have no idea.
Dig deep now................What's different at South 2010-2012 and South 2005-2009? And I don't believe it is talent.
But it's not all about W/L.
jhilts . . . Go ahead and say it! C O A C H . . . ?

Judging by the week 9 thread, everyone is looking forward to the SH v. DB game next week. Hope the SH players are focused on taking care of business come Friday night.
Yeah, me too . . .
-
Science Hill has to keep the mental errors to a bare minimum. If they (SH) do what they have been doing a lot of here lately with penalties, DB will make quick work of SH.
-
I don't "think" you will see very competitive football next Friday.
We love our opinions, don't we? My word is "HOPE"
-
If DB can disrupt Hayes (which is a high probability), then yes.
Hayes seems to do his best work disrupted. For real . . .
-
I guess we will see in two weeks, huh?
-
Probably not . . . Can you stop our passing attack?
