1. You must be out of your mind! No offense, but have you forgot where you are and who this "#6" apparently plays for. If Cannon beats Bledsoe by 2TDs, we should send the whole bunch home and skip the playoff game. NEVER HAPPEN! There is no way we can possibly lose to Cannon. I know "any team can beat any other team on any given day", but as Wardawg stated you can't win the Indy in a Pinto (that's funny). Cannon can't beat Bledsoe. And yes I know it has happened once, anc with all the problems we have at this time, this team is far better than that. I am not saying they are where they could be, but at least they will beat a team like Cannon... with a few scores to spare.

    Go Warriors!

Man smebody must have their foot in their mouth. Cannon is destroying Bledsoe right now ha ha /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

  2. I am going to go ahead and put my prediction out there now. BLEDSOE WINS. Bledsoe is heading to the playoffs and comes in to this one with 2 big wins behind them and will use this game to tune up for the first round. Cannon comes in after another close loss, and will do exactly what I stated they would do tonight...they will lose. Cannon has a long tradition of losing and that is what they will do next week. I am not saying that in time they can't learn to win and a program could not be built there, but they are doing exactly what I said they would do...they are losing and next week that streak will continue for them just as Bledsoe's streak will continue. Bottom line...Bledsoe Wins!

    Go Warriors!

Cannon does have a tradition of losing, and it seems like even when they do good (which they have improved by a vast majority from last year) they end up losing. I say Cannon looks really good again, but something's gonna go wrong and they're gonna lose. Bledsoe wins in a close one

  3. Marion County seems to have things straightened out. Marion wins by 14.

Things straightened out or not, Marion loses. Cannon has made such a vast improvement from last year, they are ten times better. Coach Barger has got things rollin and Marion Co. is only a speed bump, sorry.

  4. Big game for both teams as far as the playoffs go. Cannon is coming off a big win and I think that will carry over to this game and they win 35-14. They are good team and the rest of their schedule is winable. How does everyone else think this one will go?

Lion's roll baby! Not by as much though, Cannon will find a way to keep it close.

No, I think you think that since Livingston has been number one all year that they will walk all over us. YOU WRONG!!! we will give everything we have in this game.

No i'm not wrong. I'm not trying to say that Smith has no chance, but let's be realistic here. Ok Smith has they're beg wins and they played well, but it's time for the Owls to wake up and smell the roses. You may give everything you have, but it won't be enough

  7. QUOTE(DaCoach @ Feb 17 2007 - 03:11 AM) 826375738Please explain this "exposure" of the UHS Bees. I mean doesn't every coach develope a game plan in which they hope to expose an opponent's weakness and lead their team to victory?

Exposing a team's weakness is one thing but getting the job done is a whole different ballgame.

I don't know what big secret you have to tell us about Upperman that will "expose" them. What I see as a key is the fact that Smith Co. is RED HOT right now and they did win in Baxter this year. They are 3-0 in Baxter this year and I look for a really great game. I just wonder if Smith Co. will be tired after playing 3 games in 3 days, if Upperman decides to run and gun in a 94 foot type of game after being rested for a week!

I look forward to finding out about being "EXPOSED".

    Looks like they were

  8. QUOTE(highrizer23 @ Feb 19 2007 - 04:47 PM) 826379621I CAN'T WAIT FOR SMITH COUNTY TO PROVE ALL THE DOUBTERS WRONG. There's no doubt that Livingston has always been one of the best. BUT NOW IT'S TIME FOR A CHANGE. SMITH BY 8. Go Owls. Good luck. BRING IT BACK TO SMITH COUNTY.

I'm not a doubter. Just a realist my friend.

  9. QUOTE(highrizer23 @ Feb 18 2007 - 08:59 PM) 826378377You are putting Smith Co. down too much. Yes LA better bring it. Because Smith County will bring it. They are pumped and ready for this. LA better have a good game cause the Smith County High-School Owls will make them pay if they don't. You said LA by 5 if they have an off game. I say Smith by 20 if LA has an off-game. I also say Smith by 6 with LA having an on-game.

I'll give it to the Owls, they are playing good, but you think that just because your team has won a few games in the tournament, that they're unstoppable. If that's what the team's attitude is then they have a rude awakening heading their way.

  10. QUOTE(highrizer23 @ Feb 18 2007 - 12:36 PM) 826377446Don't be so sure. I think Smith County is ready to prove alot of people wrong. And I'm not sure, but is Chase Dunn playing in this game. I've heard that he's injured. I read that on another post. But, if Smith can play just a little bit better in every aspect than they did at the Upperman game, it will be Smith winning by 15. GOOD LUCK OWLS!

If they play just a little better in EVERY aspect than they did at the Upperman game they will still lose. With or without Dunn

QUOTE(Z King of D Swing @ Feb 18 2007 - 02:32 PM) 826377705I wouldn't be so sure about that, if LA does not have Dunn, they will not win, he has been the difference in these two teams both times. If he plays which I'm sure he will, it will take a good effort from Smith like we have seen so far this tourney to beat the Wildcats, but I know they can do it. I've never seen such confidence from these guys as I have this past 3 or 4 days. They believe they can win, and know they can, so if LA thinks this is going to be easy, it could be a very rough night. Should be a great game though, and the gym will be packed I'm sure. Good luck Big Owls, go get em.

Yes LA will win without Dunn, but it doesn't matter because you know he's going to

  11. QUOTE(Z King of D Swing @ Feb 19 2007 - 01:31 PM) 826379303I agree, and see what you are saying about you put to much emphasis on him, and the rest hurts you. The same can be said for us, and other teams. And LA is not a one man team, but let's face it, without Dunn, they lose A LOT. He is a sophmore, and is the goto guy, leader on the team. Anytime you lose that person it hurts your team. I just have yet to see this mop the floor without Dunn out there. One instance, the other night, he didnt play the 2nd half against DC and you almost lost like a 15 point lead if I am right. I realize LA has the capability b/c they shoot alot of threes, and if they are on, they can beat you pretty good, but if they aren't they usually lose. Not in all cases, but most. Should be a great game Tuesday night. Good Luck Owls.

That's true, he is definitely the team leader. and that is crucial to a team's chemistry. Without him or with him the Owls will lose. LA is to good/ LA Wildcats by 13+

  12. QUOTE(Overton County Fan @ Feb 19 2007 - 02:36 PM) 826379403Who wins this one? Upperman has been struggling and can't seem to keep their cool when it matters most. What are your thoughts on this game?

Dekalb Co. will get beat in this game. Upperman pulls it together and beats the Tigers by seven.

  13. QUOTE(hoops fan2 @ Feb 16 2007 - 09:21 PM) 826375261

just want to say congratulations to these two teams tonight

    good battles in upperman tonight

also, congrats to york and canon for good seasons

York takes on Livingston -- can they beat them again???

Smith takes on Upperman -- will it be a case of deja' vu?

    good luck teams !!!

Macon plays Livingston. Livingston will win this game. Upperman wins the matchup against the Owls. Smith Co. did play good tonight and pulled out the win against the Lionettes.

  14. QUOTE(highrizer23 @ Feb 16 2007 - 10:10 PM) 826375379

Well, it is now time for the remaining teams to start playing there best ball. We are down to the final four in the district tourny. Correct me if I am wrong.

Livingston vs. ?- Who won between York and Dekalb?

    Upperman vs. Smith Co.

Smith beat Macon tonight by 8 or 9 points i believe.

But I haven't heard who won the York and Dekalb game.

These are the 7aa teams going to the region. Is there also any chance of anyone winning the region in 7aa. On the Upperman vs. Smith game. I am with Smith all the way. Go out and play as hard as you can. Good luck to all the teams here on out though!

Dekalb beat York. There's a good chance for the district champ to win the region.

  15. QUOTE(SopH1025 @ Feb 15 2007 - 10:51 PM) 826373950

    7aa would dominate 7aaa

You've got to be kidding me. I would take every team in 7AAA except for Warren Co. over the number one seed in 7AA anyday. 7AAA is far better my friend

  16. QUOTE(Z King of D Swing @ Feb 16 2007 - 09:25 PM) 826375272

With the Owls gaining momentum, they will have to play well in front of a packed house at Upperman. They have beat them once there this year, what are some thoughts?

Smith Co. is really hot right now. I don't think they're hot enough to beat the bees though. I think it will be a good game, but the Bees prevail. Upperman by seven.

  17. QUOTE(dctigerfan07 @ Feb 16 2007 - 11:24 AM) 826374507

Guess i was wrong about the 12 point W for the owls. It was a hard fought game on both sides. I would like to commend the Smith County fans on their effort. They were completly surrounded and were actually louder than the Cannon fans at some points of the game. But anyway, looks like Cannon is going in the right direction.

They lose alot of good seniors this year.
