  1. Height has nothing to do with it. Look at Cait McMahan, programs have her listed at 5'4''. I think that is very generous also. I never said Clevenger isn't a good ball player. I'm simply stating she is no Glory Johnson.
  2. I've seen her play several times in high shool games but mainly in AAU. I think this kid will be able to right her own ticket to any school she wants.
  3. The kid has skills but he's no superstar. What he lacks in size he makes up with attitude. He needs to learn how to play team ball to become a better player.
  4. I wouldn't be suprised to see her in orange & white in two years. But I have heard several SEC schools were looking at her.
  5. Just a reminder Glory is only a junior also. I feel Clevenger is a good player but... Glory is a great player. Clevenger will probably play small college ball where Glory will play major D1 ball.
  6. What do you mean by "the JUCO level"? I personally played baseball at a junior college. At this level, no matter the sport, there are very gifted athletes. We had two first team All-Americans the two years I was there. Heck , look what Walter's State did last year in baseball. They won the NJCAA World Series. Several of their players were drafted and others went to University of Tennessee and other D1 schools. Just because a player doesn't sign with a D1 school doesn't mean the quality of athletics are lower in JUCO. I agree that if a girl has a major D1 scholarship offered, that she wouldn't consider a JUCO over them. But at the same time people do not need to "look down" at junior colleges. The quality of athletes are much better than people think.
  7. Sorry replied to wrong post........
  8. So what you are saying is, GHS is the only team to have a chance to go to state? With that statement, SG should never have been mentioned in the same sentence as Webb ! These two teams aren't even compairable.
  9. Can you explain your thoughts on how the calls went against her because of her higher level of basketball skills. I was at the game also, I feel she needs to develope a mid-range jump shot. This way she can pull up off the dribble and drain a shot from 8-15 ft. Instead of running over the defenders. Anyone else have any thoughts?
