I think that is EXACTLY how its going to be. THS lost some people but had loads of talent on the bench from last year. What people dont understand about SH is that Omar was the whole team. I would not be surprised if they lost some shocking games this year. I might put Volunteer above Central though just because of that bully type of ball they play. Its the roughest and dirtiest play in the Big 9 and people cant stand playing them. Plus they have Craddick back. Everything else looks to be in check

Might be a little to early to be talking about this but, in my own opinion, I believe that the THS vs. South game is going to the be game of the season in Northeast Tennessee. I believe the way THS is playing that they have a good shot at taking down Phillips and the Rebels. I know its going to be tough but they have all of the ingredients. Looking forward to a showdown!!

And another thing.................If I wanted to find out how "tuff" Chris Sensabaugh is why would I go ask the Daniel Boone freshman team ? How stupid.
If I needed a second opinion (I Don't) I would ask the Sevier County Varsity players right after Sensabaugh ran "thru", over and around their defense for 4 tds. and 194yrds. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
What do you have to say to that up there ^. WaCo made his point. Wait until Sensabaugh is in his senior year and then we will compare his stats to Sterlings this year and we will see who is better. My money in on Chris

That picture of the '04 THS- East game gave me chill bumps. That was probably one the the best high schoo games in Tennessee history. Not the actual game( THS killed East) but just the overall atmosphere.

Go ask the Boone 9th Grade. They sent him to the locker room at halftime CRYING and holding his shoulder. He came back in the 4th and they sent him off the field again. He is good but he is not great right now. I know the safety for Boone's 9th grade lit him up about 4 times that night. Don't make him out to be something he is not. He quit on his team that night.
WOW!! Do you all have bad blood or something? Thats a little harsh to be talking about a FRESHMAN in HIGHSCHOOL. You must have something against him. That post was completely uncalled for.

Just throwing it out there but wat about the sophmore from THS putting up 216 yards and 4 TD's. Thats impressive

I think it will be a close game until the half. TN high up by 6 at the half then pulling away winning by 21+ in the second. Just one persons opinion

With Unicoi's offense crawling if not outright stalling, you can't half blame him can you, mtnmaroon? This will be a great game. I was very impressed with JC's total athleticism, but I don't know if they have enough bodies to slug it out with THigh for four quarters. For that reason- I have to give THigh the 10 point edge.
I have to agree. Tn High has more debth and bigger harder hitters on D. I say its a close game until the half then Tn High runs away with it. TN High by 14+

I have heard that Lenoir City with 933 enrolled is the smallest 4A.
Maryville 1193
Halls 1180
Powell 1094
Clinton 1152

Knoxville Central 1210
West (Knoxville) 1332
This Class 4A Region 3 as listed on TSSAA web site
Just for comparision, we played Class 3A Anderson Co this season, they are listed at 943
Maryville is bigger than that isnt it?I could have sworn they were about 300 bigger than Tennessee High and they are at 1200

Tennessee High will be undefeated in the conference going into the South game. That one decides it. Then i see TN high play Mo West....again...but beating them this year.(Heck if SHHS beat them by 21 pts then we should also)

In 5A, there is always Oak Ridge! I also think William Blount will make some noise this year. Maybe not the top team but they will be better. I would also like to see Heritage get to 500.
In 4A, there is Maryville. Everyone else is second tier for now and I do not think that is ready to change. But that is why we play the games

Why would he not want to enjoy his senior year of high school?
The guy is living in the present. He is a member of a team, and
let's hope the team does well this year.
I am from THS but i would really like to see Curt have a great senior year. I have known Curt for a while because our parents are pretty close and he has always been driven and im glad to see his hard work pay off. Lets hope he does good during spring practice up there and maybe we will see him some in the '08- '09 season. Good Luck Curt.

And I disagree with you. South hasnt been really tested themselves. They lost to greenville who isnt as great as people think they might be. South hasnt seen a defense like THS yet.
