1. QUOTE(Harris @ May 23 2007 - 05:55 PM) 826465484Science Hill wins 4-1

Kyle Wishing over Chris Smith 4,2

Alexander Greer over Chris Hale 4,2

Jay Wilkinson over Casey Edwards 5, and think 2nd was 2. Edwards had set points in the first set

    Storie over James Hayes 4,4.

Kerr over Melvin 4 and around 2 I think.

It was pretty back and forth in first set of all matches. Siegel was up in 4 of the 5 matches at either 4-3 or 5-4 in the first set but Science Hill made a comeback to take them and the momentum going into the 2nd set. Match was decided at the #3 and #4 spots in my opinion. Good job Science Hill and enjoy, good match.

    was that for state?

  2. QUOTE(siegelplayer4 @ May 23 2007 - 09:45 AM) 826465124does look quite a bit like stacking in that situation...but hey what do i know. also seems there wouldn't have been such a confusion with the lineups if any inconsistancies in the line up weren't happening...but that was an unfortunate situation.

i think wat happened is that they didnt get the doubles lineup with the singles so they got defaulted...bad way to end the year

  3. QUOTE(10sstar @ May 20 2007 - 10:36 PM) 826463753I didn't say it was impossible for this to be a fair lineup, it just doesn't look like it at all. If we buy all the other stuff, the one about Pearson playing so out of her mind that she can go from 5 at Rotary------then injure herself----then suddenly she's 1 for playoffs. Sorry I can't buy that. Did they play challenge matches?

she was actually injured before rotary...that is why she played 5... she has bad ankles

  4. QUOTE(10sstar @ May 20 2007 - 12:51 PM) 826463407Thompson beat Courtney 1 and 0 last summer

Caitlin the older sis is at 4 and the freshman sis is at 2

Pearson played 5 earlier in the season and at Rotary

looks like stacking to the outside observer

Thompson and Courtney...that was LAST summer

You dont have any freshmen in the top of ur lineup? courtney is better and caitlin just came off injury

Pearson has been playing out of her mind lately

key words in that sentence...OUTSIDE OBSERVER

  5. QUOTE(10sstar @ May 20 2007 - 01:01 AM) 826463208TN High girls beat Farragut 4-1 but changed their lineup a lot from previous loss. What is their real lineup? Are they stacking?

no...they arent stacking...they didnt have everyone the first time they played farragut but now they have everyone back so they played their real line up...THS is a good girls team...i see them in the finals...does anyone think any different

  6. QUOTE(nation_supp89 @ Apr 27 2007 - 08:54 AM) 826446649TN High will not beat bearden. That is a surprising score though (Bearden/SHHS)...I'm not really surprised though, I think SHHS will be in the finals.

They SHOULD be state champs...i not saying that they will but they have all the talent in the right spots...i think they will

  7. QUOTE(DBHS_10s @ May 3 2007 - 10:35 PM) 826451246ok just for that comment it is going to come back and bite you in the kiester....

    yea...you saw how that worked out... /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

  8. QUOTE(nation_supp89 @ May 4 2007 - 08:46 AM) 826451431Nobody is "overrated"...that term can't be used here. Who has built DB up other than its own players?

I still think THS takes the victory although I think it is closer this time

it cant be any closer than it was last time

  9. QUOTE(SpartanTennis @ May 3 2007 - 08:51 PM) 826451129And what happened in the match today?

we started playin doubles but it got rained out so we are doin it again tuesday...i dont even know why we are playin...THS already beat them once but i guess we will see how it goes...

  10. QUOTE(nation_supp89 @ Apr 27 2007 - 10:10 AM) 826446712Looks like THS pulled out the win. Good win...DB you should have waited til you had actually played a decent team before you started talking. DB has improved but as I said, not enough...sorry

DB played pretty good yesterday and pulled out some big three set wins...it was a really fun match

  11. QUOTE(dawgs2 @ Apr 25 2007 - 09:01 PM) 826445381Science Hill won 5-1

    Maltsberger over Smith 3sets

    Greer over Acker 0-4

    Kerr over Rahnema 6-0

Story over Fulton 5-6 Fulton had 3 set points at 5-3 in first and was up 4-1 in 2nd

S Hill guy in straight sets at 5

    Eddy over Dail 4-2

Science Hill said that Wilkinson out for the year

If we play again dropping the 6 will help

    1 is a toss up

    2 Science Hill

3 Science Hill but it was close

4 this could go either way

    5 Science Hill

win two of these matches and u never know in doubs

Science Hill the definite favorite, but crazier things have happened

Tennessee High has a chance at them because their 5 and 6 can beat Science Hills from what I heard

Siegel is a big favorite if Wilkinson is out to win it all

wow...jay is out for the year? that is terrible luck for them..and im sorry to hear that cuz jay is a friend but it helps everyone else out...

  12. QUOTE(dawgs2 @ Apr 25 2007 - 10:08 AM) 826444898It was 5-4. They actually shoulda won. Their #1 had Hunter down 5-1. If he wins that, Farragut wins. Bearden SHOULD beat them 6-3 or 7-2 , if everyone plays up to par. Farragut could definitely win if Beardens not ready to play.

So what is the story with your district right now TNtnns?? What if u beat Science Hill in the next match, who wins the district??

Wow...that surprises me that you had that close of a match with farragutt...i would have thought that you would kill them...i wish THS played bearden this year...but anyways, the story is if we win the next time we play then we have to play a third time to see who advances...kinda like a tiebreaker

  13. QUOTE(dawgs2 @ Apr 25 2007 - 09:34 AM) 826444859The story is Wilkinson has mono. If that is the case, things would be alot more even. We will see how everybody matches up today b/c we play SH. How long is someone normally out with mono???? The region would be three weeks from Friday.

Bearden has to play Farragut for district championship next week..We only beat them 5-4 last time. Assuming we beat them Oak Ridge is next, who has two really good players . Win that and Science Hill. If Wilkinson plays, they are a BIG favorite. Without him, I think it can go either way. If he is out for the rest of the year, Siegel now becomes the favorite. Should be an interesting couple of weeks

yes...wilkinson is out. with mono you are usually out for about 2 to 3 weeks sometimes more...it all depends on the person i guess...with him out it also evens out the THS SHHS match...but did i read that correctly when you said bearden only beat farragutt 5-4 this year?

  14. QUOTE(dawgs2 @ Apr 24 2007 - 09:54 AM) 8264440249-0 losses to both Farragutt and Bearden. They are not very good this year

ok...thanks...just curious cuz we beat them 8-1 yesterday...but that surprises me that they lost 9-0 to farragutt...we beat them 8-1. i thought that would have been closer
