hey man its awesome that greeneville guys and girls r both in the top 5 and grls in 1st...but y r the guys just 5...?

  3. I don't believe that any greeneville fans have taken away from what Omar did that night. We all agree that Omar had an excellent game. I have watched him since then and he was not as dominant in the games after the greeneville game. You have to consider everything that was going on up to that game. Greeneville was the number one team in the state. Science Hill wanted to be a spoiler and they did. It didn't help that Wiggins and Gash were sick, but we know that is not an excuse. On that night Science Hill was the better team. I do believe the game will be a lot different if they do meet again. However I don't see them meeting again. I do believe that D.B. will nock them out in the District.

Greeneville will be ready when they travel to the tri-cities for the regional tournament. I think that everyone is downplaying the success that Greeneville has had this year, but that is the way it always goes. "It ain't easy being GREENE!"

u have to agree bout 1 thing who ever plays greeneville in the regional tourney will be a good game...i cant miss it...

gdfan91 you tend to kill yourself on here all the time, but I believe you are right about Coach heading us towards the right direction. But we have to win districts first.

rly the district shldnt be a problem unless cherokee gives us a fight...

Greeneville has the best shot from the IMAC, but they are gonna have to step there game up to a new level to win the region. They have the potential and the ability to win it, but whether or not they will is a differents story...

I would look for Science Hill to continue playin well...DB is coming along quite nicely as well...

    we can take science hill

What school has the best combined record for girls and boys basketball????

Just wondering. Richland has done good with the girls being 26 and 2 and the boys being 18 and 7.

If my math is right, that is 44 and 9. Not bad for a school.

greeneville guys 27-2 girls 24-3 fixin to be 25 tonight but its overall 51-5...that awesome for both teams to do that good...go devils

  9. QUOTE(greenevillefan @ Feb 5 2007 - 03:32 PM) 826359398

Nope. I see Raleigh Egypt taking the top spot. Greeneville might be third or fourth. If anyone has been watching Greeneville they will see that they are not the top team in the state. They may have one of the top players, but overall they are not the number one team in the state. I think that if they do continue to get some support from Woods and Ottinger then they can have a chance to make the state. We also need to have Gash step up and play like he did in the beginning of the year.

ohh well we do have the best ranking lol...

I am from Greeneville...Im not a GHS fan I am a basketball in general fan, but it is always nice to see my alma matter do well. I agree...I had high expectations going into the Science Hill and GHS game, but it happened just as several people on this board posted it would....Shut down Wiggins and you are playing an Average at best team...I wish them luck going into the tourny as well as to the other teams, but I dont see GHS making it as far as most people think they will...

im looking for a rematch with sh cause we can beatem...i think we will go state but like always were out in the 2nd round usually...

  11. QUOTE(utvols1 @ Feb 1 2007 - 03:53 PM) 826354745

I have seen GHS play about 12 times this year. They have a GOOD ball club but NOT A GREAT one!!! If they were the best in the east they would not have lost to a mediocre SHHS team by 29 points! I admire your school spirit man but your thoughts and opinions are very far fetched and unrealistic....I wish the devils luck the rest of the year, but to be considered the best in East Tennessee they are going to have to play MUCH better than they have the past several weeks...

all im sayin coach duncan will pull everything out of them boys...they wont give up...but we were doubted last yr. and provedem wrong...but we will never give up...
