Indy is strong on the ground? Please. If you have even seen the box score for both of Indy's games, you can see Pettigrew isn't close to 100%. The passing game has looked good for Indy, even with Smith in there. I have also heard good things about that CHS passing game and they could take advantage of a questionable IHS secondary. Sheppard and Baugh give the receivers a ten yard cushion every play, and Scales could really take advantage with those short passes. This game will start out close with not much scoring. The Eagles will eventually pull away in the second half winning by ten.

We saw what happened to Indy last year after they had some cupcake non-region games on their schedule.

I heard Cordell had "family issues" but you never know. His brother was at school so are both going to difference schools. I thought Smith made a valiant effort. Indy didn't seem to focus on the pass early, which was working for them in the 2nd half of the BA game. When Smith started slinging the ball, the Eagles started to click. If it wasn't for a very, very unlucky fumble by Baugh at the goal line, it would've been a different outcome.

Now back to the game. Any predictions? I'm seeing Indy here in a close one that's going to be decided in the 4th quarter. If the line can't protect Cordell this week, he'll have to have poise back there in the backfield to look for those quick passes to Veres, Parker, or Baugh. Indy's going to have to establish the run also. Pettigrew didn't look close to 100% out there. The question is, who do they put back there. Eubanks really doesn't want to overwork Consiglio, but he could work Josh Bailey or Brett Meaker back there. Indy's offense will have to click if they want to win.

Seeing as how the Eagles couldn't stop Jordon in the 1st half yesterday, they could have a little trouble stopping Bartholomew, seeeing as he tore up Antioch yesterday, averaging 18 yards per carry. You going back to the game tonight donathan?

Heat could be a big problem for Baugh, who plays both ways. Luckily, for Indy they have a lot of depth. It seems like the players are brimming with confidence going into the game. Who knows, we could see em escape with a win.

Quarterback play is going to win or lose this game for Indy. Hopefully, Cordell steps it up and plays like he did early last year.

Chris Jordan is an animal on the field. I hope we see a good game, but let's be honest, BA just overpowers Indy.

Does anyone know what's up with Kevin Lawrence's knee. It looked like a painful injury and heard he might've blown it out.

From the stands, it looked as if Rodney Coffey went to help Baugh and nailed a WC player. He's the only IHS player I see that could get suspended. I couldn't tell which WC players were ganging up on Baugh, but you could see some disciplinary action taken against them. It wasn't a brawl really, but more of a skirmish.

How is Curt Phillips looking going into the season.

Not sure of the facts, but the players didn't want to even talk about it the next day.

Henrie's gotta get into these guys heads and tell them to stop screwing around and go out there and stop making stupid turnovers and make alot of the free throws they've been missing.

I hate to say it but I agree with you. In the two games vs. Indy, Siske was not even a factor, Batt dominated Nick down low, and Glover and Young shot the lights out. My prediction, FHS beats Indy in the finals by 7.

You can't make a bad MVP pick this year, the voters did a good job of handling the situation and awarding co-mvp's.

I believe the tournament openers start next Thurs. and Fri. at the higher seeds site then semifinals move to Overton on Sat. consolations on mon. and the finals tue. feb. 20

I'd love to see IHS CHS for the 3rd time in the 2nd round. That'd be a great game as it was the other 2 times.
