  1. My Prediction:

    LA - 68

    SC - 59

    Actual Score

    LA - 66

    SC - 57

    Not too shabby... /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

I am going predict an upset for WWIV. I think the Cats will finally swat the bees...

    LA - 65

    UH - 61

  2. Before I say this please know that this is no put down but purely for information. You say Dunn got a full ride. Did he not get anything on his grades, financial aid or lottery scholarship? Most players have all these figured in and the basketball program supplies the rest to make for a full ride. Dunn is a really good player. Just a little small for D1 but he sure can shoot the ball.

Not real sure. However, I do know that he will get a college education and he will not have to pay a dime for it.

  3. Jimbo, How do you see these two games playing out? Any chance for the underdogs Cannon and Station Camp?

Livingston Academy has gotten better since the last meeting, but I don't think I would consider Station Camp much of an underdog. Station Camp beat Livingston 67-83 in their previous meeting. Livingston didn't play well at all that game though.

    My Prediction:

    LA - 68

    SC - 59

  4. never said he wasnt a good player but can he dribble without stiff arming

I could care less as to who you are, but your acting like a jealous little boy who didn't make the team. Your putting Dunn down about ball handling..? Can you even dribble a basketball?

You act like getting a full-ride to Tech isn't an amazing thing... Let me ask you.. Where are you going to play college ball? How many other past players (boys) have gotten a full-ride to a D1 school in the past?

The even more amazing thing is that Dunn is LESS than 6' tall. How amazing is it that he has accomplished so much to be so small? What have you accomplished in life since we are talking about accomplishments?

Here's something that would amuse us all, in my realistic opinion. How about TROMO and Dunn in a little one on one on the court?! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

TROMO wouldn't even show up would be my thoughts on that... I would go as far to say that Dunn might be a better baseball player also.

  5. The LA Wildcats advance to the Region Semi's after holding off a fiesty DCA club 65-46.

After trailing by one after 3 quarters the Wildcats went on a 23 to 0 run to close the deal. DCA hit a 3 at the buzzer for their only points of the 4th quarter.

LA was led by Mr. Chase Dunn with 22 points Congrats LA keep focused and continue your journey.

Don't know what LA was thinking during the first 3 quarters.... This was probably a good wake up call for the Wildcats. At this point in the season anyone can beat anyone...

  6. Etiquette hasn't been a concern of you own so why worry about someone else'

Really... /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=" Seems like you may just not like what I have to say. I have looked back and I didn't notice any of my posts being rude. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> Maybe you just don't have a sense of humor...?

  7. LA 80 DCA 55 BRADEN ANDERSON IS AS GOOD OF A SHOOTER AS THEIR IS. NOT ATHLETIC ENOUGH TO STAY WITH LA.

UPP 77 GREEN 65 GREENBRIER HAS SEVERAL GOOD PLAYERS AND THE COACH HAS THEM PLAYING HARD BUT OVERCOMING PLAYING ON THE ROAD WILL BE TOUGH.

WH 57 DEKALB 52 POINDEXTERS PROBABLY IS AS GOOD DOWN LOW AS DEKALB HAS PLAYED . WHITE HOUSE PLAYS TOUGH D. DEKALB IS STRONG I HEAR SO IT SHOULD BE CLOSE. WHITE HOUSE'S NEAL BROTHERS AND THE SOPH GUARDS NEED TO MAKE SOME THREE'S TO HELP OUT THE INSIDE GAME.

SC 82 MACON 50 . NOT EVEN SURE THEY PLAY MACON BUT I KNOW ITS THE #4 SEED. BUT IT DOESNT MATTER . JENKINS WILL GET 50 . YOU BETTER GUARD GRAY ON THE PERIMETER ALSO . HE SHOOTS LIKE DCA'S ANDERSON. JUST NOT AS ATHLETIC YET.

General Message Board Etiquette Rules include not typing in all caps...

  8. Let's hire Daniel Caffey to see if we can get a change of venue. Jake Brigance failed in his attempt for a change of venue.

    No Mercy /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

    I guess I am the only person that gets it Bubble. Good movie. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />

  9. Gatorbillmsu...you don't want to get too far in over your head. I've not been too involved in this topic, but your stepping on toes that your Michigan soul doesn't want to mess with. Between me and the rest of the LA pride crew on here you will not win. Abby loo, your wasting your time as well. You might be able to compete with some of the other people on here, but trust me you don't have a chance in the world of winning with me.

    Sincerely,

    Wildcat324

So you all have anything related to basketball to talk about...lol

  10. Could be completely wrong here. Does anyone else think TROMO may be from Livingston? Gonna watch them Saturday huh? If you were from any of these other schools, wouldn't you be watching your team play on Saturday? Unless your team is already finished and you've decided to make the drive to LA saturday to watch a team that you predict, or hope, doesn't make it to the state. What exactly is your problem with LA? Or maybe you have a problem with Dunn. Sliding? NA. He's just doing a great job making teammates better while averaging 20 ppg and a Mr. Basketball finalist. Your right about one thing though. His teammates have stepped it up lately, which apparently makes you sweat. Sour grapes about something with LA. It doesn't matter. Thanks for motivating an already motivated bunch of kids.

    Looks like Scrubby just had some Tromo for lunch... /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" />

Hopefully LA can do the same with the competition in this tournament.

  11. LA fans(not all of them) are the ones who are crying about having to play at Upperman. /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> I actually like Big Daddy & Rocking chair...their post are interesting & they were not rude to me in any way. They took my humor and rolled with it. I have talked with some nice people from LA and I'm sure you don't represent what LA stands for. Your comment for Gator was about as REDNECK as it gets. I have been joking back and forth with LA fans but I never talked to anyone like that, nor did up2late talk to us like that(and I made her pretty mad).

Gator, we love you at UHS that's all you need to worry about. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

I haven't heard any crying about where the tournament is being held. I have seen a lot of people talking about why it is important that it is held at a larger gym and a neutral site. For safety concerns & fairness I guess...

If LA can't beat a slightly above average Upperman team (even with home-court advantage).. then they have no business in the state tournament anyways... Therefore I doubt many true LA fans really care about where the tournament is being held. They plan to roll right through Upperman and then back to LA for a home sub-state game. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

  12. I'm always talkative....we lost the last two games and I'm still in good spirits. /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />

By last two.. She means they have lost the last two to LA... Just wanted to clear that up for you Abby.

  13. abby loo ..... Your last name must be Mc WILLIAMS ...... You cry baby !!!!

    /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

Wonder if she will be so talkative after the region finals..?

  14. As i have stated in previous posts livingston will not make it to the state. my prediction is i dont kow if they get out of regions or sub state which ever they will not be playing past the 9th. however since i first made that statement the four other players besides dunn has stepped up play while dunn is sliding. might have to rethink prediction but will hold off until i watch them sat. so as of right now i will stick to my prediction livingston not going to state!!!

Dunn sliding? Lol... I think I would just start watching golf if I were you.

  15. I'm in favor of a change of venue for several reasons.

    #1 - Seating (DUH).

#2 - Security (There seems to be a need for extra men in uniforms when opposing crowds are forced to sit as closely as they have to at UHS.)

    #3 -Neutrality (DUH).

I understand Upperman's desire to keep the tournament. Who wouldn't want it on their home court? It doesn't seem fair, though, to all other 7AA teams who might want to have the tournament in their back yard. We use different gyms when its 8AA's turn to host the region. BTW, I've seen LA's gym. It seats more, than UHS's - I see no problem with it being there if they had a turn at hosting. The thing is TSSAA says let 8AA rotate gyms - but for 7AA - keep it at Tech or UHS?? Again, that seems unfair to all in 7AA (except maybe UHS).

In my opinion, (and I'm entitled to mine) - if Tech's gym is available (and I believe it is) - it makes more sense, for all involved, to have the tournament there. But I had heard that ALL teams in both districts had to agree to the change. I think at least one didn't vote for the change. /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="

Sounds good to me. But you know Bobby will never vote to move it. It will just bother him that much worse when LA wins it anyways... /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

  16. LA IS DEFINETLY THE FAVORITE . I WOULD ALSO SAY LA AND UPPERMAN ARE THE FAVORITES TO MEET IN THE FINALS. UPPERMAN COULD PLAY SC IN THE SEMIS IF THEY BOTH WIN AND WITH THE HOMECOURT ADVANTAGE YOU WOULD THINK UPPERMAN WOULD BE THE FAVORITE ESPECIALLY AFTER UPPERMAN ALREADY BEAT STATION CAMP THIS YEAR AT SC. BUT SC HAS CAME TOGETHER AS A TEAM SINCE THEN SO IT COULD GO EITHER WAY.

WHITE HOUSE IS A TEAM FULL OF ATHLETES AND IF THEY COME TO PLAY THEY CAN BE DANGEROUS. IVE HEARD DEKALB IS PRETTY GOOD THIS YEAR ALSO. SO THAT 1ST ROUND GAME COULD BE EXCITING.

ALSO GREENBRIER IS VERY WELL COACHED AND COULD POSSIBLY GIVE UPPERMAN A GAME.

I'M PULLING FOR WHITE HOUSE AND STATION CAMP TO GO TO THE FINALS. BUT IF IM GONNA PREDICT I WOULD SAY LA AND SC IN THE FINALS WITH LA HAVING TOO MANY GOOD SHOOTERS AND SHOULD WIN THE TOURNEY.
