I must admit. I left a little early. Both teams gave a great effort. LA is a powerful team. Best of luck to Smith Co. in the rest of their games.

This will definantly be a dog fight. Not being a fan of either and having seen both play I think each one of their strength is different, guard play for LA and post game for Upperman. The difference I think is the depth of LA and how their pressure just wears at ya but ya can't count out home court advantage. LA but "closer than the experts think" lol!

You are right on all points. However, I think the post play for LA has been getting better lately. Devon Ramsey is a good shooter and could be unstoppable if he really set his mind to it. Brad Jackson is also playing very well lately. He is very quick for a big man and is great at getting to the goal.

If I were the Chase's teammates I would be giving him the Tim Tebow treatment Friday night. "Just take the ball and score Chase. Show us the way!!"

Last year LA beat Smith Co. by 33 @ LA and by 17 on the road. Friday night's game might not be that exciting.

I think LA will take this one. However, If LA overlooks this team it just might be their closest game since that trip to Ensworth. This will be another one of those intense ball games that these two teams are known to have against each other. I hope the student sections can get along. haha.

I am going to predict that the LA girls go 6-3 in their remaining games.

Well, its not the coach. Period. For some reason, (i.e. Sells Injury, Loss of Carr, etc.) the girls really have not gotten it together for the first half of the year.. Against JC though, defensively, they were great, offensively, not. Against PC, they put together a very great game. If this team has just now found what they need, watch out. This team CAN end up number one. Yes it will be difficult, but I see them at least 2nd going into the district tourney. If any team can climb a tall mountain, Coach Smith and the Lady Cats can. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

I agree. Mid-to-late season is when Coach Smith is at her best. This team could still get it done.

With the district games just gettting started this team could really turn its season around with a strong finish.

I thought it looked like he was on track to do it at Upperman. He should have atleast 20 vs Smith. So it looks like it is going to happen.

If he does it at Upperman will they recognize him for it? (just a quick comment on the loud speaker) Seems like that would be a classy thing to do.

I am thinking that within 2 weeks LA will be #1.

Livingston Academy's home win streak is now at 16 games with their win over Jackson Co. Friday night.

Their overall win streak is now at 9 games with a record of (17-1)

So does Dunn need about 67 now to break Coach Melton's record?

Livingston Academy has what I think is a 15 game home win streak. Their last loss on their home floor was to CPA in a hall of fame game at the beginning of last season.

Also, if I remember correctly.. I think they have won 35 out of their last 39 home games. (Going back to the 05-06 season)

i dont have the fastest computer, so the way it is set up right now takes me forever to pick. is there any way you can make em like bubbles? and you just pick em all at once, just goin down the line, and at the bottom of the page have a "submit all" type deal? i think that way you would have alot more people join, without having to go through opening up the other little window thing everytime, and having to re-refresh the page over and over.

I agree. I have a quick connection and it still took almost 30 minutes. Maybe CoachT will find a way to improve it someday.

I wonder how far out teams like Upperman and Jackson Co. where?
