1. QUOTE(dman1424 @ Mar 18 2007 - 06:50 PM) 826416621Correction then..flaws in his game that will keep him from playing at a SEC school...talking about stupid comments... how is conditioning going to help a flat jumper...sain is not a 7'2 center who is being recruited as a project...the scouts know what they are going to get...an what 6'6 halfway descent ball player can't perform a 360...congrats josh on a wonderful tourny....go liberty

    Your having trouble getting out of the wet paper bag... /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

  2. QUOTE(Jellyrolls @ Mar 18 2007 - 04:18 PM) 826416466I think that Bolivar team when Kemp and Chism were seniors would have a very good chance of beating them. Dyer County's team that consisted of Perry Powell, Cyrus Johnson, Montrelle Crittendon, Brian Fisk, and John Morris would have been tough competition for them too.

Well you've been a bit mis-informed Liberty dismantled that squad last year in the region...What's up???That Bolivar squad would get demolish by this years Liberty squad...

Once again Liberty does not recruit players the students are assigned a school based on geographic location...

  3. QUOTE(nebuntyn @ Mar 18 2007 - 04:43 PM) 826416510This has to be the most stupid comment that I have heard on the threads. Everyone has flaws, some have more than others.

That's a great point...You must remember when these kids ae being scouted it's not always about what their doing now but the potential of what they will do...Yeah so what he's a flat jumper a little conditioning should take care of that (I've seen him 360)...So what that he forgets to put the ball down from time to time coordination drills will correct that...You've got to look at the big picture not always inside the box...

  4. QUOTE(nebuntyn @ Mar 18 2007 - 09:04 AM) 826416106More like 30 points.

    Let's see don't believe I saw your team on championship day... /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

  5. QUOTE(BIGWEBB @ Mar 17 2007 - 11:49 PM) 826415947Give us something Man

I beg your pardon...This kid can play at the highest level...He's defended Chism, T. Young and has been an offensive threat against them as well...He has two rings and a Tourney MVP to back it up...

Liberty's style prevented him from show casing his complete game...He is a student of the game and very coachable...He is a team player...Had he been with a run of the mill team he could have average 30pts a contest...

    Don't sell this kid short...

  6. QUOTE(GCPioneer @ Mar 17 2007 - 10:58 PM) 826415866MAN!!..just got home from the boro and boy did Liberty put on a show today!!!! The Liberty game was worth 10 dollars alone...I also got one of the oops by Derek Sain on video too!!!! only half of it...BUT CONGRATS to Liberty...ya'll are by far the best HS team I've seen play and thats over last years Brentwood Acadamy team...

Derek Sain plays for Humboldt you got Devon Jones of video...

  7. Just a thought...

Can we start to talk of Liberty's squad as being among the greatest teams in the state of TN all time???

Their record since last year is unblemished against in-state opponents and only 3 losses since winning the tournament last year to national powers...I reveiwed Memhis Hamiltons schedule of last year and even though they were undeafeated they did not play a talent laden schedule such as Liberty did and they did have a few games that could have gone either way...

Even if most of you don't agree, I believe that this current team could defeat any of the past champions and justify their recognition as one of the states best ever...

Their loaded with talent that went unrecognized until last year and were still under the radar for most of this season...They have acheived national attention for their effort and I appreciate their dedication...The coaching staff is tremendous and the administration has offered great support...The fan base is unreal...

So I take this opportunity to thank each and every Liberty "MIGHTY CRUSADER" for a fabulous journey and wish all associated with the program good luck and pray that your futures are blessed with success...

STUNNAH...A #1 fan for years to come...

  8. Temple did a great job of managing the game the 1st half...However Humboldt was dominate the 2nd...The Humboldt player that shot what should have been the game winner made a poor decision (I blame that on the coach) Temple was able to get the rebound and score leaving Humboldt with 4.1 secs to win the game and they failed...I stated in a prior post that if Humboldts guards didn't come to play that Temple would win and they did not come to play (I blame that on the coach)...At any rate good luck Temple...

  9. Humboldt must have better guard play...You can't score if you can't keep the ball...Their inside game suffered also Sain and Epperson didn't get the looks they should have but that goes back to guard play...Rebounding should be in their favor they just need to have better scoring opportunities...Wade needs to take more shots...

Humboldt by 20 if they play...

    Humboldt wins regardless...
