Again why not talk about how each team might be expected to do in their district. And whom we can look forward to watching instead of bragging about which county team is the best or slamming another team to make your team look best.

That is very interesting. Where might one position himself to play defense by himself. So if a dominant player doesn't make the SHOW every team they beat is weak. You are a Baseball Genius. Do you have any idea how tough it is to make the SHOW?

I thought this was about baseball. There is a big difference in defending your time and bragging about your team. What you are doing is bragging about your team. Which if you want to bring football into is what your coach did last fall. Plenty has been said about that, if you don't know read the football board.

It made PF look so good that everyone in the region, substate, and even state tournament 2 years ago until the championship game was scared of them and just handed them the w's. Great logic. Almost as good of logic as one that would try to compare a school with over 1500 students with one that has about 700.

Who does everyone have back from last year? I see Rutledge has Dalton, Starbird, and Horsley but they should have more than that. Where is Armstrong and Myers? What about the other teams? Who do we have to look forward to watching? And what can we expect from those players?

I don't believe anyone is stopping them. Seymour and PF can schedule the Farraguts, Beardens, South Doyles, etc. for nonconference games if they want. (Of course Seymour may get this in a few years if they keep growing since they are already bigger than some AAA anyway.) Why not talk about something that matters anyway. Like how Seymour, PF, SCHS, and GP will do in their districts. And will any teams be improved from last year.

I don't believe the other county high schools are in the same division with Sevier County. So dominating them accomplishes little more (if any) than county bracking rights. I believe there is more to the big picture than that any way.

Read the post again(I forgot you are from Seymour where there is less emphasis on reading and more on athletics. By the way it is "team he led".). Where did I mention pop times? No successful steals as opposed to unsuccessful steals or did you mean you never stole a base last year? Even the best pro catchers have bases stolen on them. Anyone that knows anything about baseball knows that there is more involved than just the catcher on a stolen base. Example, Pitcher holding runners, actual pitch thrown, speed of runner, need I say more!!!!!!!!!!!

Last year is over and done. I believe they will have to prove that they can compete after losing 7 starters. Of which, they have replaced with whom? No one has said. Actually, I believe that Rutledge is the team to beat since they have won at least a share of the district championship the last 2 years and have the core of both teams still. But I guess that is why we play the games.

Not even in district 2-AA. Have you bothered to see who Rutledge has coming back.

You seem to be forgetting the top 2 catchers in that district. Jon Dalton at Rutledge and Mitch Barton at GP. I believe both made District ALL Tournament. Dalton hits with a lot of power (led the district in HRs while doing a good job behind the plate). Barton I believe caught every game last year but 3 while leading his team in hits and RBIs.
