i heard from a certain source that they are voting thursday to see if we can start the tournament friday instead of saturday next week

so what Veercoach is saying is that, NCS controls there own destiny this week playing Houston Co....It will take a loss from NCS and JBS sweeping East Lit for JBS to get first and NCS losing 2 and JBS losing 1 for East to get first place because JBS and East would both be 10-4, NCS 9-5 and If Heritage swept CA this week they would finish 3rd between them and NCS because they beat NCS twice...alot of stuff can happen but if the top 4 teams win both games next week the standings are the same as veercoach said...good luck to everyone and it has been a good year of baseball i believe

East beat Houston Co. today 6-2, east jumped off quick scoring 2 in the first 3 innings and then no more scoring for us threatning once or twice but really just didn't hit well after the 3rd...Houston Co. scores 2 in the 4th off of 2 errors but not really much sticks from them the rest of the game, Coffee gets the win, 9 k's i think, puts us at 8-4, if we were to play the tournament right now saying CA beat East Lit. today and NCS swept this week then it would be: 1 NCS 8 East Literature 5 CA 4 WH-Heritage 3 East Robertson 6 Houston Co. 7 McEwen 2 Jo Byrns Jo Byrns would finish 2nd because NCS swept East and Jo Byrns split with East then East would be at 3 because they have more wins than Heritage and then Heritage 4...the 5 and 6 spot, i don't know for sure which ones it is because i don't know their real district record but thats what it would be if we started the tournament tomorrow depending on who won in thos NCS-McEwen games and CA and East Lit

Yeah the East wins 11-1 over Houston Co., in the first inning we played a little sloppy and let a strikeout become a run by dropping the 3rd strike stealing 2nd and 3rd (off of passed ball to 3rd) then another passed ball to get home...East didn't score till the top of the 3rd putting on 3 then in the 4th put on 6 5th 1 6th 1....that was pretty much it, i think Will ended up with 9 k's and 0 earned run, tomorrow will be Coffee vs. Cook i believe so should be good...good luck to everyone else tomorrow

We got Houston Co. at there place tomorrow and at home on tuesday...and tyler we're a pretty good team but we play down to competition like we can't just come and pound a team we're supposed to, we got to play around with them then decide to play in the bottom of the 5th...but yeah NCS is pretty good to, i wouldn't say that they are any better or worse with coach anderson but that new coach has them on the right path

why not be at jo byrns?? i'll tell you why, say your pitcher is pitching a lights out game and your team is not hitting the ball well against the opposing pitcher and the other team hits a routine fly but at jo byrns it is a home run and kills your team because your facing a good pitcher and not getting alot of hits that game, nothing is wrong with their field, i wouldn't mind it being my home field so i could pull out a couple of homers during the year but why not give everyteam a decent sized field and let a a 300 foot pop up be an out and not a home run, a Houston Co. everyone will really have to hit the ball to get it out there so thats my reasoning...and i think people didn't like coach anderson because he had that swagger and some people that can't have that same swagger get mad and not like him, every baseball player should have that certain "swagger" when they hit the field or what is there to intimidate the other team???

appreciate that goodeye, yeah we're not first but thats because yall are playing better ball right now and i'll be the first to admit that...yall are working and we're not and thats something that we're going to have to start doing but as far a fundimental goes i agree with NCS winning that to cause they small balled us to death this week and got to wins because of it so good look to NCS the rest of the way, i'm sure we'll get another shot in the tournament at them though...keep doing yall's thing Tuck, looks like yall are really playing ball good right now but we all know it don't count till the tournanment

Well actually we both had the wrong information...yall only had 5 hits...and Hicks said he was pitching today so he lied not me, East got beat again today 4-3, i don't know the name of their starting pitcher but he was number 9 and he pitched pretty well today...we scored 1st to make it 1-0 then in the top of the 2nd or top or 3rd Caden Anderson hits a 3-run homer so the game pretty much stayed 4-2 the whole game with both teams adding a run in the 2nd...East had bases loaded with no outs and got out of the inning only giving up 1 run and that was pretty much the game....puts us at 6-4, tough losses but we'll bounce back next week All 5 hits were infield hits

Ha ha Tuck yall ain't hosting nothing for a while...i would almost say just let NCS host it every year, i mean they have the nicest field in the district and its not to bad of a drive for anybody, its kind of central...and they both throw good for real Tuck but don't look past CA remember what i told you...ok what is up with McEwen cause they are splitting like every week with someone, do they have one really good pitcher or what? Alright now that we're really talking baseball i can talk now...Tuck CA can hit the ball good, i'm not saying this to act like they're amazing or something but they can hit the ball around, pitching not that strong just like 70 mph fastball's but slow curves, gotta stay back a while...and our game got cancelled today so guess we'll have to remember those certain players next week cause we got them again next thursday...and i don't know who is better out of the 2...McClung is a little wilder than Hill so i would say Jared cause he can locate his pitches really good but McClung can throw it by you if your not ready to swing it quick...both pretty good though

I know they are two different kinds of people, dogs and cats are different but everytime somebody says "its raining dogs and cats" that means there stupid??? think before you try to put somebody down yo...and i don't care if you are hitting .800, .415 is what i'm batting and thats pretty good...and no i went 1-2 against you with a sac fly and 1 rbi, dude you can't make yourself seem better than you are, yeah you did pitch a good game but don't down me...and Tramont will get over it, nobody from East has said anything about him and nobody has a problem with him...but anyways back to baseball Heritage will pitch Hill and McClung against ya and you already know Hill is pretty good, they can win some games with there pitching, its just is there offence going to score some runs...it will be interesting in yall's 2 games because yall both get to play at small fields both games instead of just one...but with you and parker pitching and mcclung and hill i don't see many balls going out...when do yall play them??? East beat WH-Heritage today 3-1, Will Clinard pitched a complete game 2 hitter with 11 k's, Hill pitched good for WH-Heritage and gave up 6 hits i think and had i would say 5-8 k's...play Kenwood on Thursday and have Hunters Lane on Friday. East Robertson beat WH-Heritage today 4-3, the first inning we put up 2 runs and held them scoreless then our next at bat we scored 2 more, they came up to bat in the bottom of the 2nd and Zeke Pirtle hit a 3 run-homer...after that wasn't really much at all except good defence and pitching, i think Heritage had 1 runner get to 3rd base after the homer and we had 2 maybe so neither team really threatened after the 2nd. We play again tomorrow @ East.... WP-Coffee 3-1 LP-McClung Be Clinard vs. Hill tomorrow i'm assuming

Here's the standing as of right now: East Robertson 4-2 Jo Byrns 4-2 WH-Heritage 4-2 CA 3-3 Houston Co. 3-3 NCS 3-3 East Lit. 2-4 McEwen 2-4 Its to close to even pick a could be winner, the next couple of weeks will be some seperation between some teams i think...i wouldn't say our district is stacked or anything, its just so competitive and any team can win on any day

Pull a little varsity blues right here, i've been up since the break of dawn and i'm ready to play some ball today! We got Heritage at their place today then our place Tuesday, wonder who pitches first for Heritage, McClung or Hill??? Will find out that question about 3:30 i guess

Yeah they are down a little because there shortstop told me that they got a new coach and half the players couldn't take the dicipline so they all quit, i think they only have 12 or 13 players on the whole team, they hit the ball pretty good but just right to somebody and there pitching isn't strong at all but they might have through a not so good arm since it wasn't district play but yeah good luck to ya on Monday Zeke, where are yall playing this year? Up top or down bottom?

East beats Cheatham Co. today 17-2, i think it takes a loss a week to wake us up, i don't know what it is but yeah good pitching performance by Travis Pitt, 6 k's and only 2 hits given up but one was a bomb but anyways JV is going to play Whites Creek tomorrow cause coach thinks we shouldn't even go so hope the JV performs well and Heritage on Monday, good luck Zeke and we'll see yall Monday. Oh yeah and whoever Maroon Maniac is that would be 7 good senior ball players including BIG DAN GRIFFITH...i got your back Dan and we need you just as much as the next guy!

East Robertson gets beat yesterday 10-3 vs. Clarksville Academy, they were just hitting the ball where noone was and we were hitting it to them so yeah we got beat but have to bounce back Thursday against Cheatham Co......TUck your pretty quick to post when yall win but when ya lose don't post nothing...haha

yeah that sounds like you had a pretty heated talk with them after the game but if you got teasley on the mound today i'm pretty sure there will be a whole lot less walks, hope yall can pull one out cheif....what about these other scores??? I know anything can happen in a baseball game but what happened in the Heritage-McEwen and NCS-Jo Byrns games???
