1. This has got to be one of the biggest rivalrys I've seen through high school soccer in a while, 0-0 in the past season meeting, are there any predictions or comments on the game tonight and can anyone tell me what time the game starts I know it's at Oakland.

  2. QUOTE(yankeesfan811 @ May 9 2007 - 11:07 AM) 826455407correct

wow ok, when a team doesn't have but four shots in the whole game..gets a lucky break cause Warren scored with time expiring and gets called back.. has a district record of 1-5 .. beats Warren for the first time in history... and then fulfills the meaning of owned when they played Blackman the first half and Blackman's j.v the second half.... tell me if that's owned?

  3. QUOTE(Whitey @ May 8 2007 - 09:03 AM) 826454256One team showed up and the other one did not. Lebanon managed to finish on the few chances they had and Warren County missed a bunch and I do mean a bunch of opportunities to put the game out of reach and did not. Score was 2 to 1 Warren County with about eleven minutes to go and Lebanon scored two goals to take the lead and then hold on for the last eight minutes. Warren County got a late goal but it was called off because the player was in the offsides position when he received the ball. Good luck to everyone else on the rest of the tournament.

Not trying to whine because the game is over and there's nothing we can do anything about it, but when Travis recieved the ball he scored on, it was a deflection off of the keeper which makes him onsides. When the ball deflected off of the keeper Travis wasn't offsides. He may of been offsides but the ball was never played to him, he played it off the keeper's deflection from a shot.......Good Luck to Cookeville just play your game boys, hope to see you win it all.

  4. QUOTE(yankeesfan811 @ May 3 2007 - 09:32 AM) 826450745Lebanon v Warren County

    siegel v Riverdale

Both of these games are coin tosses. It depends on who comes out strong, and who wants it more. My picks would be Lebanon and siegel to win both games though. Both teams have been playing well as of late. Don't get me wrong, Warren Co. and Riverdale are great teams, but that is just my opinion.

any other thoughts on these two games? I don't think the other two in the first round will be a big deal.

I think if Riverdale's keeper is back it will be a big help, but their back up keeper wasn't all that bad. Not that anyone downed him or anything, I just don't think that's the reason Riverdale lost all the games they lost. James will make a difference, but the back up keeper I'm sure will be ready if James won't be able to play.

  5. QUOTE(sportsfan15 @ May 2 2007 - 10:21 AM) 826449926You have it right, I just hope it dosen't fall exactly 1-4, 2-3 then 1 and 2 in the Championship.

Lol I agree.. who knows though in this district I think anything can happen. Whoever comes out to play and wants it more will win.

  6. So how i see it is....

(1)Cookeville vs. (8)White Co. (at Cookeville)

    (2)Blackman vs. (7)Oakland (at Blackman)

(3)Warren Co. vs. (6)Lebanon (at Warren)

    (4)Siegel vs. (5)Riverdale (at Siegel)

I'm confused on the way it will fall though, does anyone know how the bracket will look, and that isn't a prediction on who will win, it's just how I think the bracket will look. I'm not sure so if anyone knows please post.

    (1st Round) 1 seed vs. 8 seed

    (1st Round) 2 seed vs. 7 seed

    (1st Round) 3 seed vs. 6 seed

    (1st Round) 4 seed vs. 5 seed

    (2nd Round)1 seed vs. 4 seed

    (2nd Round)2 seed vs. 3 seed

(Championship) 1 seed vs. 2 seed

  7. Anymore predictions...

    Cookeville vs. Siegel

    Warren Co. vs. McCallie

    Lebanon vs. Glencliff

    Riverdale vs. Smyrna

    Blackman vs. Oakland (5/3)

Cookeville/Siegel game is what matters the most in 7-AAA. I was just going to see if there were anymore thoughts or comments on the other games today..

  8. My predictions are Blackman will beat Oakland and Cookeville will take a very very close game at Siegel. Don't get me wrong Siegel is good this year, so I'm definately not leaving them out. But Cookeville has their senior night that night and I believe if they're on top of their game they will take it. They are very capable of playing really good soccer. I think

    1. Cookeville

    2. Blackman

    3. Warren Co.

    4. Siegel

    5. Riverdale

    6. Lebanon

    7. Oakland

    8. White Co.

That's just what i predict will happen, I can definately be proven wrong I've seen Siegel play. It's a tough call to make on a Siegel or Cookeville game.

  9. Cookeville/Blackman vs. White

    Cookeville/Blackman vs. Oakland

    Warren vs. Lebanon

    Siegel vs. Riverdale

Cookeville and Blackman play tommorrow night to see who is number one and number two. It will be a good game both teams work very very well together.

  10. QUOTE(Whitey @ Apr 23 2007 - 12:27 PM) 826443442Underrated,

What happened last Friday? Sounds pretty rediculous. Wish I had put off some things I had to do and come to the game.

Well it was senior night and we had festivities such as a halftime song by a local band, I think that may have ticked off some of the players. Beside the fact, our mouths just got the best of us. Reffing wasn't the greatest, he could have taken more control a lot quicker rather than letting it get out of control so quickly. Our coach was disappointed that we couldn't just walk away seeing that we had a tough game against Blackman next. It was clearly both ways though, Livingston would say something and Warren would reply with a comment like what's the score or something like that. We let our mouths take over and it showed us a lesson now we're down without two players against Blackman. Luckily we're through playing Livingston Academy, we apologize to everyone that come to see a clean game. It won't happen again, if your able try to come to the game tonight against Blackman.

  11. Warren Co vs. Blackman 4/24

    Riverdale vs. Cookeville 4/24

    Siegel vs. Franklin 4/25

    Lebanon vs. Hunters Lane 4/26

    Cookeville vs. Blackman 4/26

    Riverdale vs. Oakland 4/26

    Siegel vs. Lavergne 4/26

These are the key games with teams from district 7-AAA. Warren County as many of you know had two red cards in the past game against Livingston Academy, very unfortunate. Hopefully the Blackman Warren game will be a good game. Every year it's always been a good, hard fought game. This game may decide where the two teams fall in the standings and seeds for the district tournament. Cookeville lost to Riverdale last year 7-1 in the district championship, so I think they'll be prepared this year.

  12. It was a good game there were two p.k's one for each team, so that made a difference in the score being so high. Cookeville is a strong team, it looks like they'll contend for a district championship. They're very strong to winning headers. Not to mention their starting sweeper was out of the Warren game due to a red card in the past game.

    Cookeville vs. Lebanon 4/19

    Warren vs. Lincoln 4/19

    Riverdale vs. Siegel 4/19

    Oakland vs. McGavock 4/20

    Blackman vs. Warren 4/24

Post the scores when you can.

  13. Cookeville at Warren County tonight.... both teams should see where they're at... if you haven't heard Cookeville just came out of that Hendersonville tournament and correct me if I'm wrong beat Germantown 3-1 with 15-20 minutes left (called off bad weather) tied Baylor 1-1 and lost to Houston 2-1, so they've found a groove

Warren County just came off of a win against Riverdale this past Friday, tonight should be a good game. I'll post the score asap if no one else has.

  14. QUOTE(BlackmanSoccerDad @ Apr 11 2007 - 02:49 PM) 826435087The injury is a bone bruise right on top of his foot, maybe back tomorrow night vs. Lebonon.

Good, I'm glad it isn't serious seeing that Riverdale's keeper is out and all and that broken collar bone. This is as far as I know for tonight and tommorrow's games Blackman vs. Lebanon... Siegel vs. Pope John Paul II....Warren vs. St. Andrews....Cookeville vs. Germantown(tommorrow night)....Riverdale vs. Warren Co. (tommorrow night)......just post the scores after tonight and tommorrow's games.

  15. QUOTE(BlackmanSoccerDad @ Apr 10 2007 - 09:05 PM) 826434341Blackman 1 Siegel 1

Blackman played bad and Siegel played well. Blackman missing two senior midfielders due to apendectomy and injury. Starting foward 15 minutes into the game got a double yellow card, most likely for discent but not sure. Blackman didn't score until the last 3 minutes of the game. Siegle scored in the first 5 minutes, defender missed ball and striker had 1 on 1 with goalie and finished. It just wasn't a good soccer game to watch all the way around. I am biased of course.

I got there with 35 minutes to go in the second half, but from what i saw it was just a bad game for blackman although blackman did have a lot of opportunities throughout the last 15-20 minutes while siegel had i think maybe 2 or 3. Blackman had a shot that everyone thought for sure was in, the keeper was out after a ball and the ball was played over to another blackman player who had a shot but was luckily headed away by a defender who took the keepers place...I will say the goal by blackman was a nice shot ... After watching that game I've seen every other team besides Riverdale and it looks like it's coming down to who wants it more and who shows up to play..

By the way, the injury for blackman... is it serious or are they just giving it time to heal?

  16. QUOTE(xarsenalx @ Apr 9 2007 - 09:24 PM) 826433531lebanon play oakland tomorrow.

also how strong is cookeville from the point of view of someone who doesnt play there?

and does anyone know if the rumor is true about wilson central canceling their game against lebanon in fear of having their players injured?

Please update the lebanon oakland game I'd like to see how that goes

Cookeville is a strong team in my opinion, I don't play for them but I have seen them play a lot. The only reason their standings are low is because they have played teams like Hendersonville T 1-1, Dobyns Bennett L 2-0, Gallatin L 2-0, and they're looking at Germantown, Houston, and Baylor, not to mention Riverdale and Blackman from their own district. They are a team that will definately improve by the end of the season. They're also a team that you definately shouldn't take for granted. If they keep improving through the season as they should they'll be in a run for the top two spots in 7-AAA, along with either Blackman or Riverdale.

  17. QUOTE(yankeesfan811 @ Apr 4 2007 - 09:54 PM) 826430310Look for Lebanon to play Warren close tomorrow. It should be a very close game. I'll post a score tomorrow night.

Also, any update on the Keeper from Riverdale? He was injured in the game against Lebanon, is he out for the whole season. That is a shame, he was one of the best in the state I hear.

I agree, from what I hear Lebanon is showing up this year... it should be a great game

  18. Warren County 2

    Franklin County 0

They called it with 4 minutes to go in the first half due to bad weather, I'm pretty sure the win doesn't count.

Warren hosts Lebanon Thursday night, it should be a good one.

  19. QUOTE(Mutz07 @ Mar 28 2007 - 07:52 PM) 826425288i heard that riverdales keeper has a shoulder injury and maybe out for a while

    is this true?

    and if so

i imagine that will toss them out of the top two spots

wow that's terrible.. especially if he'll be out the whole season he's a excellent keeper.. i hope the best for him
