1. QUOTE(52fan52 @ Apr 5 2007 - 11:31 AM) 826430656i believe that they only do the lottery part with 1st - 8th grades. not 9 - 12, but they do only allow so many people.

I had a kid tell me its a lottery k-12. Just not as many kids wanting to get in 9-12.

  2. QUOTE(Floor_General22 @ Apr 4 2007 - 07:23 PM) 826430146Who is UH next coach. I hear Mark Mason has it locked up. A good source says he's already recruiting kids to come in and play.

I have heard Arnold from Boone and UH's girls coach. Mason is not a name I have heard yet.

  3. Tennessee football is no where near the level that it is in other southern states. Probably better than Kentucky. Basketball is ok. This state does produce more basketball talent than it does in other sports. I would classify this as a basketball state though. However its not up there with NC, GA or FL.

  4. QUOTE(SillyBilly @ Mar 8 2007 - 08:31 PM) 826405415Congrats to Woodacre but with no disrespect, he wouldnt get that much hype if he was playing in the Big9. Not to take anything away from the kid. He is a great ball player and is a dead-eye shooter.

The kid can flat out play. Doesn't matter what level he's playing at. I've seen him play with people at the college level, big 9 teams, some "has beens" and he can play with any of them. I think if he was playing AAA he would be getting MORE hype.

  5. QUOTE(The_Alliance34 @ Mar 7 2007 - 04:43 PM) 826403812I blame Gordon for that because he was responsible for it happening even if it was 9 yrs ago, and that is not the reason I don't like UH's fans or players that are there now; even though they haven't shown much class the last couple of years. I just think that they are still arrogant and think that they are superior to everybody in the county. I don't know if all of them are rich or not, but the ones i have been around have been pretty rude, and acted like a bunch of rich snobs; there is nothing wrong with having money it is the attitude that you show towards others when you have money. This years players are not as bad as last years but i still don't like the coach or the way that he allows his players to act.

the topic is over, wartburg is going to murfreesboro and UH sitting at the house!

I know Gordon wasnt the coach then. He was in NC.

  6. QUOTE(The_Alliance34 @ Mar 7 2007 - 02:47 PM) 826403682what about when UH's players walked in hamptons gym in 98' wearing rain coats and rain boots making fun of the flood that nearly wiped out our whole town... they shows ALOT of class

was there a single person that is associated with that team that is associated with this current team? who was the coach in 98? was it mcphearson? why do you blame the current players/fans/coaches for things that people did 9 years ago?

  7. QUOTE(sportiemom @ Mar 5 2007 - 10:32 PM) 826401367You are so right ~ UH has the rudest and most obnoxious fans that I have ever been around. I am so glad that they got beat. Now you all know how we feel having to play them in two sports twice or three times a season. They don't have a football team cause if they did they wouldn't have enough healthy for a basketball team.

Is it the fans or the players you have a problem with? The coaches/players seem fine.

  8. QUOTE(BUCyouUP @ Mar 4 2007 - 07:36 PM) 826399750Well it must have been a big deal man if your student body wanted it put up on the website lol whatever though yeah sure your websites okay, but you think your team will be okay? oh 450 fans is a lot to pat, i think UH will make noise no matter how big a crowd they have they always do and always will

oh the game NXT is going to be at Brooks Gym its the building near Burger King on ETSU's Campus

you bring up a good point about UHs court. Those extra 10 feet and woodacres ball handling make it difficult to press the whole game. Wartburg better play their whole squad if they want to keep this close. I look for UH to win, but will have to play best game to date. No gimmees this time of year.

  9. QUOTE(Ram Fan @ Mar 2 2007 - 10:08 AM) 826396661D.J. will score at least 30. No matter what defensive scheme you have, he will get his points. Winstead is a dominant player also, as long as he stays out of foul trouble.

    Wartburg by 10

Im sure DJ is a fine player but I doubt he is as good as Woodacre. Heard wartburgs D wasnt great at stopping penetration
