1. QUOTE(akula21 @ Mar 13 2007 - 09:38 PM) 826410886I thought you could not have anything written on the nets. I may be wrong. That is pretty cool, but worth the cost????

Dont know if that is a rule but Farragut has had FHS stitched in the net for years now. It either is not a rule of we have been slipping by for years. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

  2. QUOTE(ihavenofriendzz @ Mar 13 2007 - 09:40 PM) 826410896why are you getting so upset? just let it go.

seriously....so lets change the subject. Joseph Muth had a great game tonight and so did Backstrom. Jo with two goals off throw ins(he is sooo good in the air) and backstrom one in the air and two shots. Farragut really came together and played a good one touch game

  3. QUOTE(bruinsoccer @ Mar 13 2007 - 10:49 AM) 826410066The CBHS field in the picture is artificial turf.

    There are no $1000 nets.

uhh go look for a decent net on any soccer retailer, sorry. You will find that most are as expensive as the goal it self. I would guess the average net runs around $300

  4. QUOTE(ManU90 @ Mar 10 2007 - 12:07 AM) 826406975mark sherrod not sure what high school and lakeway kickers.

those are some very good ones.

He plays at Carter i think he had 43 goals or something last season. No joke he might have had 53 i cant remember

  5. QUOTE(The King of the Burbs @ Mar 9 2007 - 09:07 PM) 826406714If Stein is ok to play for Webb I say 1-1 but if not 2-1 SH

If Jon Fuqua and CA marron(sp?) are healthy/recovered from personal situations then i will have to say Webb cause they boost the speed of that team but a ton.And they already play at a high speed with Marvin and Stein in the mix

  6. QUOTE(Saprissista @ Mar 9 2007 - 02:27 PM) 826406317Tyler Burns--He is a junior this year. He's not playing highschool. He played for the Nashville Metro's Reserve team last year, and will be playing for them again this year. He came on as a sub in one of the Metro's preseason games (youngest player ever to do so). I forget who they were playing at the time. This kids amazing. His agility is second to none. He could stand to work on his aggressivness though. And he's still a bit skinny.

He is not as good as his resume may seem...my club team beat the Nashville Metros junor team and i know some "close" friends that scored some lackluster goals on him. He has the body and size for a keeper but needs to work on his soccer sense. If he can achieve this he will be great though

  7. QUOTE(BigG @ Mar 9 2007 - 10:21 AM) 826406008Any chance of you revealing what number you are?

BigG your going out on a limb there because no one at Farragut really knows for sure who Lion101 is we have our ideas but dont really know. Id love it if you could find out /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

  8. QUOTE(Tin-Man @ Mar 8 2007 - 11:16 AM) 826404612NAIA

Ezion (little brother), it seems that everyone has some wierd obsession with your looks, maybe they should ask you over. You know, so the guys can fix you up, have a makeover. They can cut your hair for you and style it for it, give you some tips on how to keep it looking good.

haha well said and i guess that ss55 didnt see your acomplishments on the left on the page

  9. QUOTE(BigG @ Mar 7 2007 - 09:19 PM) 826404113Didn't he graduate? For the life of me, I can't remember his name or screen name. I think he was a senior last season. I'd be curious to know if he went to play anywhere in college. Chizaggi, do you know anything about him?

Eddie Yah is his name, he was a GREAT player with a bad attitude. I dont know if he went to play anywhere even though most schools would of loved to have him.

  10. QUOTE(Tin-Man @ Mar 7 2007 - 10:12 PM) 826404190me either, i hope i can make it, i tell people at my school that its almost like a football game, but those Kentucky boys don't believe me. I hope to mak eit to the game.

as for Aston Villa, our team went to the Regional semi-finals and played Lindsey Wilson and we lost 1-0. which is not bad considering that they have won the national tournament in 2005, 2001, 2000, 1999, 1998, 1996, and 1995.

However, we had a chance to go to the national tournament, because they are picked based on points, and you get more points for playing better teams, well we played Lindsey Wilson three times (lost all three, OUCH) and we would have gotten alot of points for that, but Lindsey Wilson was forced to forfeit 5 games because one of their players was playing on a different team, making there ranking decrease and making us get less points for playing them. If Lindsey Wilson would have won one of the 5 games they had to forfeit, we would have advanced to the national tournament.

    that would have been great.

Dang...what a way to end the season. On another teams mistake. Well it seems like all and all it was a good season. Is college of the Cumberlands NAIA?

  11. QUOTE(BigG @ Mar 7 2007 - 09:21 PM) 826404120Sounds like it was a good one! To be honest, I totally forgot you guys were playing tonight, otherwise I would have been over there. You guys are going to make some noise in your district this season!!! We ended our pre-season with Oak Ridge last night. They have an awesome facility!

Ohh yeah!! hows is the new facility? and where in relation to the old one?

  12. I dont think that that SS55 plays at West or if he does is pretty...um not smart? i guess thats what it is because Tom plays on the Crush Arsenal with Cody, Nathanial, Buck, and Walt. Four players that would never throw down on Tom.

Hey Tin Man how'd your team do this post season? ha this isnt trying to be sarcastic even though that is how this whole topic is going.

  13. QUOTE(BigG @ Mar 7 2007 - 08:59 AM) 826403228This should be a great game, although I think a bit different if it were held in regular season. I think Coach Culbreth will play for the win, of course, but also, he uses these scrimmages for what they are... to prepare for the regular season, and move your line up and personel around.

I am hopefully coming to this one! Is it at Catholic or Farragut? Either way, it is a shame that they both have to play on football fields (though they may play on Farraguts practice field).

Which is now an awful field. so many dippets its awful

  14. QUOTE(ManU90 @ Mar 6 2007 - 09:02 PM) 826402797nike vapors. by far my favorite cleats. i've had one pair of white/red vapors for about 2 years and are still good enough to use at practice and stuff. i just bought a new pair of black vapors and, once again, are perfect. if you're looking for a cleat that lasts you a while then nike vapors are a good pair, from my experience at least.

    Can anyone say blisters....?

  15. QUOTE(BlackmanSoccerDad @ Mar 6 2007 - 12:16 PM) 826402111Well I was going to say 3-4 months, but I thought to myself that's crazy. That's why I put 9. I just texted my son and he said 3-4 months. So thanks for not making me look so cazy.

Some great shoes Adidas used to make were Super Nova II. Great shoe, lasted a long time, my son loved them, but I guess that's why Adidas doesn't make them anymore, because they did last a long time.

haha yeah cant have kids with the same shoe for a while. They just want you to keep on buying

  16. QUOTE(BlackmanSoccerDad @ Mar 6 2007 - 11:36 AM) 826402066My son used to have predators and that's all he would wear, but now wears the Adidas Tunit, which he loves. Our experience with the predators they usually don't last a whole season, 9 months maybe, then has to purchase another pair. We'll keep you updated on the Tunit, he's only had them 3 months.

9 months is a long time in competitive soccer. most players go through 2 or 3 by then
