  1. Antwan, a long time CoachT poster, and viewer has passed away.  Thoughts and prayers go out to his family.  He loved sports, and the lessons they teach.  Gone too soon!!!!!  He will be missed.  Now you can rest easy!!!!!

  2. Very big crowd, and eletric atmosphere.  They had to turn people away.  People were 3-5 deep all the way around the field.  Several on the ouside looking in.   Don't think the QB would have made any difference in their season except maybe the first game.  There were 4 very good teams in the region. TC, Macon, Smith, LA.  On any given night any outcome was possible.

  3. UpperCumberlandMan=again your story is cloudy.  SC had the ball coming  out of their own endzone after a 76 yard punt by Macon Co.  SC got two first downs.  Had the ball 3rd and 2, and did not get it.  After that SC punted.  The ball traveled 14 yards.  Macon County got the ball around midfield.  Came out trying to throw it, and couldn't.  Hudson had a nice run, on a draw I think.  Macon went back to the pass, and had one almost picked off by the SC free safety. Coach Pat Dyer told the OC not to throw it again.  They got the ball where Kittrell wanted it, and bang. It would have been good from 60.  SC got the ball  back with about 1:00 and couldn't muster anything.  I know this is the truth because I lived it.  One of the most gut wrenching/exciting weeks and games I have ever been apart of.  SC had there chances and couldn't put Macon away.  Macon kept punching, and delivered the knockout blow.

  4. sounds like you're still upset that yalls players didn't keep yalls coaches' promise to send our qb out on a stretcher. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> shouting at a kid = classless, threatening to injure a kid = class act? only in the land of al gore and bass akward ideals!!! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

    Snowy,

As you can see by my user stuff, I don't get on here very much and post. Just read for good entertainment. However, you have constantly said that the SC coaches have said something about hurting another player. I will stand by my word, that I myself never said that. If I did, then I wouldn't be coaching. You can throw stones at me all you want, I have tuff skin. Ask the mafia!!! As of how I treat kids, I will let my rep defend itself. Tell your sources to check their info. The only thing that I am guilty of is defending my QB. I will do that no matter what.

If you want to sling mud sling it. Just so you know, you can ask your director of schools what kind of guy I am, or your brother, the TC coaches, or your sources. Unlike you, I live this everyday, and I do it for the kids, not for the rings (at any cost). If we win, we win, if we lose, we lose. We will do our best, and that is all that we can do. It is not life or death. We are just trying to turn boys into men. Trying to do it the right way. Playing a game we all love.

I have been around the SC-TC rivalry since at least 1987. That is the first game I can remember. It has been fun. I do know all about 1993. Lived it. I do know what has happened since then. It is best that the game has been dropped. I do know all the details. Would love to explain them to you sometime. If you want the truth, you can have your people contact my people and I will give you the truth. It may not be as easy to handle as you think.

I am done with the situation. I have bigger fish to fry. By the way snowy, this is as SC Football thread. Why do you keep posting????????????? Just let the SC-TC stuff die. You will miss us.

  5. Snowy, I have to say that I agree with a lot of the things you have said. One that I don't buy is the SC coaches putting bounties on other players or wanting them hurt. I haven't ever heard of that from any of them. But your other thoughts make a lot of sense. And yes, I'm sure had the Owls won that game that to most the scene wouldn't have been as big a deal. Also, if I were you I would make sure my sources are very accurate. You may be being slightly mislead. People can often times have hidden agendas and/or emotioal type reasons for skewing the truth even a little if it benefits a message they are trying to falsely convey.

Like dating the so called player in question, The TC QB, and being of the same last name as snowball. That should shed a little light on the truth of the matter. It is skewed.

  6. For anybody other than Alcoa fans reading this:

If you think the boys are taking it easy, enjoying their trophy, think again! Several of the boys hit the weight room this week, looking forward to next year! These kids are amazing! They're taking the initiative to get in the weight room and keep it up, willing themselves to get stronger and faster so they can take a 6th!!! It amazes me that they're taking it upon themselves to continue training on their own! We've got a special group of kids!

Isn't there a mandatory dead period right after the season???????????

    TSSAA RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Coach Kevin Creasy should at least, be Coach of the Year. What he has done with this bunch

    is awesome.

Don't kid yourselves. Satterfield is still running the show from behind the scenes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

  8. did you have to bring up the "open zone"? thats just an excuse for people. THink of any talented alcoa football player from any year , and more than likely they came from the Hall community , its just been blessed and put out athletes for years. None you will think of have lived outside Alcoa city limits. Were good cause of determination and a great coaching staff. not cause we "recruit" or just let " anyone attend in that area if they like".

What about Brian Sommers. Didn't he play a great part in 05 & 06. Where is he really from? (PS-Knoxville)

  9. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

Just ask those York players that will not be playing this week. I'm sure they will tell you why Westmoreland is more physical. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

Thanks for the help Posty. Ask westmoreland who is physical!!!!!!!!!!

Elway and Tony want to know if you liked the second half drives. They said they practiced those in the indoor the last two weeks. Thanks for showing your jealousy of the SC program!
