1. i would have to agree with you. i dont really kno much about MBA, but i do know about garret #12. lately i have compared him with Devin Hester of the chicago bears. garret has speed, is very explosive, and has a nose for the end zone when the ball is in his hands. so be aware of where he is because his big play can from offense or deffense.

hills borro by 14 in an explosive second half

devin hester?? are you sure that you want to compare a high school athlete to the best kick returner in the nfl right now...okay, ill take your word for it and see how this garret compares to him. this should be interesting

  2. Let's face it...it is a family issue...that started with his dad when he was about 7! I feel sorry for him he is just a product of a father who would do everything and stop at nothing to make sure his son played. Had he stayed PUT in any one school he would more than likely be the STAR his daddy always wanted. I'm sure he will be glad to put ball behind him and get on to living...

That's a fact..even though it is a little bit of too much information to have posted

  3. IT will be a good game, dont get too cocky so soon, MBA can only run the ball so it is going to be alot easier for teams to defend because they dont have to worry about the pass one bit. But MBA is good and so is Indy, but i see MBA pulling this out at the very end

True. But it would be nice to see MBA open up the passing game just a little bit

  4. QUOTE(JuhaV??t?inen @ Apr 4 2007 - 05:19 PM) 826430111BA will be limited by who they run on the relays at regionals...if they run vaughn and ford on the 4x1 and 4x2 look out

    mba?

i dont see them getting anyone out in the 800-3200, while BA probably gets at least 2 in the 800 and 3200 and probably 3 in the 1600

doug hall will certainly give us a better idea

Ok so Brentwood Academy is good but when you say Doug Hall, I doubt BA will be able to come out on top this year. The events where BA has their strengths will be mostly won by other teams(4x1, 4x2, 4x4, SH, lj, pv). People keep mentioning MBA who is exceptionally well this year and may have a chance at winning this competition. The Highland Games showed me a little bit of what both teams' potential can be as solid track teams but i doubt all of BA's runners where there(Tyree Ford being one of them). This will be an interesting year watching both of these teams go at it.

  5. QUOTE(Trojan Fan @ Feb 28 2007 - 09:38 PM) 826394116The St. George's folks I've talked to have gotten a big kick out of the college coaches at their games this year...and the kids have eaten it up. Evidently Calipari and the UVa coach have been there a good bit...and Pearl as well...not typical for the small school DII schools, of course...bit of a fairy tale ride for them right now.

Coach Stallings was there sitting at the baseline floor (like how he coaches at his own gym). The bad part however was that Elliot Williams missed a wide open fast break dunk right in front of him. Elliot Williams is good but I know he could have done better in this chamionship game. Yet, I was impressed with the other Elliot; Elliot Cole from MUS, who had 20something points in the first half and ended up with 31.
