um im at the game- on my mobile high tech device...in my opinon they did a better job on d than in the 1st quarter-- go ahead and believe radio guys...they must know TONS about basketball in order to be broadcasting single a tennessee games!!!
Teams defense can be the reason for bad and missed shots....

WHy is ther already a final score for the HUmbodlt wartburg game.... it is on the scoreboard and the team final standings for both teams...thought the game hadn't started???

WOW- westside is/ was terrible.... no disrespect to CSAS- they took care of business but that WEST- team was a joke..... terrible defense, no fundamentals missed uncontested shots...ugly ugly- congrats region 3

Bradley2004- come on man you gotta have confidence...there were alot of really good teams who got knocked out and aren't even in the state tourney...you have a great chance...oglesby- those 2 big guys who are playing real well right now..plus that other guy who has really stepped up his game (I forget his name) but he played great last game..

Wow, that's really impressive to lose 5 guys- 3 starters and be right back in the state tourney... honestly though- were the two kids that started last year and didn't graduate, were they the best players or did you lose your bread and butter from last year?
One senior on the team this year?- is he the go to guy...

Good point- so CSAS IS better than temple!! I knew it.... that 40 pt and 30 pt and 12 pt loss didn't ever happen....
I think alextheg8 has a good point that with 16,17,18 year olds anything can happen....
I think what we learn from CSAS beating pickett is that CSAS is better than pickett
I think what we see from temple killing CSAS is that temple is better than CSAS
I think that we learn from Pickett beating temple 20+ games ago is that Temple has the ability to play like crap and get beat by a bad team...
but hey that's just my opinon

He can't help but have a part of him that would love to be at the Murphy Center Wednesday. He has coached these boys for several years and there is a relationship there. Every coach feels that. Good post, HoopsterPlaya. I am sure the players have a part of themselves that would love for him to be there also, don't you think?
I would think the players are happy with the team the way it is... I mean 29-3 in the state tourney...
But you can keep hatin on the skogens....haha
gofish- I doubt coach skogen would like to hear you say it is his team- from what I know of coach skogen, it has been a while, but when I lived in the area he was pretty much all about the players... I would think he would say it is the players team...

Actually do me a favor and check the previous winners of Mr. Basketball compared to the finalists...especially in single a almost always the guy who averaged more points wins....the other stuff gets you up there, but big numbers gets you a bigger trophy- that's just the way it works...
if you know any other numbers for the finalists post 'em- they are obviously all good players and well rounded- I just gave the points cause that is what I could find- please put everything else....I don't care-- I just gave an opinion and think it is well backed because of the history of the award... i'll see what I can dig up...you do the same...

Please tell me your joking about sitting out a full quarter....Region 3 basketball is the best in the state single a...however there are teams that are so bad....starters rarely play but half a game... Sale Creek, Lookout Valley, Whitwell, Copper Basin Chatt-Creative Arts are some of the worst teams in the state...they are simply awful....I guarantee that skogen never played a 4th quarter against these teams.....those are just in the region....temple had wins over a handful of AAAA Georgia schools some by 30+ again...prob hardly ever played...
and the guy who said he played 23 minutes a game is either UC coach Brown's dad or Brown...that is the only way I believe him because in high school no one, NO ONE keeps track of minutes per game....
so that whole thing about minutes played is a bad argument....I watched the state championship game at home....skogen got shafted....that is for sure...they should go back to doing it a month after the state tourney to see who the big time players are.....
