    lincoln co 2-1-2 8

    shelbyville 2-1-1 7

    coffee co 2-2-1 7

    columbia 2-2-1 7

    franklin co 2-2-1 7

    lawrence co 0-6

    games left tullahoma at columbia

shelbyville vs lincoln co shelbyville vs lawrence co

    franklin co at coffee co

Where is the columbia/tullahoma game at?

  2. playing at the middle school is not a good indication of what anyone on Shelbyvilles teams can do. It plays into the hands of the slower less skilled team everytime. so no wonder shelbyville could not score. it is like keeping ten in the box on defense (which is what CC did last time I played there).

Well, yah know. That may be true but wouldn't a good quick team be able to get passed anyways. Its not like playin on a U10 field(almost) I honestly don't think that field size can affect the outcome of a game that much.

  3. they need zach thompson back at sweeper and dylan reed in the middle

i think dylan could create better chances for joey and kirk

It was at the middle school. and i think dylan is pretty solid in the back riht now

  4. Coffee County is not columbia and this score surprises me. Is coffee that good this year or did Shelbyville have a bad nite.

The CC v. Shelbyville game was a great game. Shelbyville controlled the ball most of the game but couldn't get a good shot in the whole game. Coffee had a couple of chances but couldn't finish

  5. angel reyes from forrest is very talented.he has a very powerful foot

I would have to disagree with that. I saw him at the CC playday and I don't think anybody could consider him a top freshman. Not trying to bash. Just stating

  6. franklin co 1-1 tullahoma

franklin co also beat lincoln co 5-2

i think these are the only 2 district games that have been played so far

CC played lawrence county and won 5-0 last night

  7. Yes. Both teams are strong. Brentwood lost a couple of key players in the championship game due to injury, but FC Alliance was the much stronger team that day. They are good and the Knoxville High School teams should be strong again this year because of the boys coming from this team.

Just got back from a one day camp at Lipscomb and Nick was there from Brentwood. He ended up being on my team for the night games and i will just say that i'm happy he was on my team. Great back.

  8. Nick Disalvador- Brentwood (Incredible Forward with his speed)

Nathaniel Sprouse- Hendersonville (Probably the most underrated player in the state... incredible speed and footskills)

Ali Guirra- Lavergne (Incredible footskills and plays like a true veteran)

What club do these guys play for?

  9. FC Alliance is the new team name for East TN Select (State Champions)

Brentwood Elite were TNFC 92 last year and moved to Brentwood at Tryouts, they were State Finalists.

Well that makes more sense lol...FC alliance is a beast of a team. How are they doing in the premiere league? And how is brentwood doing. Sense they won't update the site

  10. Memphis Gryphons should finish top of the State league. Could be anybody else really to make up the next three teams, the State website has the results but not sure how upto date it is. TN United are out of it, East Ridge and Nike Rush have been there every year.

Brentwood 92 Elite and Allance 92 will be the teams to beat in the State Tournament.

Camp Forest 92 has beaten both East Ridge and Nike Rush and will play Brentwood on sunday.

  11. The main part you look at is the amount of time that is being played. You obviously can't take a player off each min or keep playing overtime mainly because you are constantly moving and they believe that Say you make it to the 150th min of overtime and a kid passes out from fatigue that is putting the players at somewhat of a health risk and with the heat as it was for the D2 AA final it was humid and hot and you can tell that most players were ready to just stop and that was with a 50 min delay.

I think they should do the kicks like FIFA where the players that were on the field are the ones that take the kicks. So you don't have fresh legs kicking as apposed everyone is tired to an extent to when they take the kicks. I think players like taking Pks because that is part of the game and it's always been part of the game.

Tactically if you are a coach and realize,"well we don't have the offense to beat this team" then the best option would be to play say a 5-4-1 or a 4-5-1 to play defensively minded or "play for pks". If you have a keeper like the Webb keeper, wouldn't you use that to your advantage because soccer is about strategy and not about the players that play. If the eleven that are on the field believe in the system and understand that system, what does it matter if they the better team or the worse team but if they know if they just hold out for 110 mins, they have a great shot at winning if it goes to pks.

Ok, as a player, I would hate being taken off after a certain amount of time. The pk system has been that way for almost a hundred years. It works, why change it. Pks are some of the most intense moments of my life. Like said earlier, pulling players is good in indoor, not as much in outdoor 2 Players playing on a field that is 120 yards long is pretty riduculous if you think about it. Although, i do respect other opinions, i just believe that pks have always been something to look forward too during a big game. And in excess, pks are more than just luck, believe me on this one. practice helps a TON............... and what webb keeper are you talking about?

  12. I do think the scheduling of the soccer matches needs to be looked at. Playing a state championship game less 16 hours after the end of a semi-final match is madness. This is not baseball.

I'm not to sure. Most club tournaments play up to four games in 48 hours. A good night sleep should have been plenty of sleep for teenage boys.

  13. well every time i saw columbia they played a flat back high line so thats why

but i thought dylan reed should have gotten that award

    Can't argue with that

  14. predicting:

    t-town 1 - 3 schs

    lc 1 - 2 columbia

I'll refrain from commenting on why CC lost.

I can tell you why. Coffee County did not come together as a team in any way except for one game (Franklin county) the ball flowed and everyone played the way they knew how to play. This team had moments of promise with certain players who worked the ball as good as anyone. Though, the coach would never allow them to play together. Everytime a mistake was made on the pitch, someone was subbed in. In no way, form, or fashion is a team going to be able to mesh together and have rhythm when a coach does this. Also, he replaced them with, how can i put this, Not up to par players, at all and he even knew this. He would sub them in and leave them there the whole game to get trampled just because they were giving it all. Thinking that starters weren't giving it their all? I don't know where he got this. Coffee County had more skill than had ever come through this school, but nothing would happen because of cocky attitudes from players THAT NEVER PRODUCED, and coaches that would not help the players. Passing was something unheard of this season. this is why Coffee county could not compete. So as i conclude with this post, hopefully they can get a new coach, and rid this team with players that think they are above everyone.
