Haywood 4 Madison 1. Playing at Haywood and I got a feeling that Doug will be the head official. He was demoted to line judge last night at USJ. This is where he should be all season.
He will be mad and take it out on Madison. Madison will have to play either at North Side or Westview in sectionals.

What I have seen of USJ this year, their keeper is really bad. If you take shots on him, he cannot get to the ball. If you play USJ hard and physical, you will beat them. North Side looked good in every aspect of the game last night. The only problem with North Side again is that they get past midfield and want to pass the ball to much instead of attacking the ball. The player number 10 is a heck of a player. He should be taking shots out in front of the 18 everytime that he gets the ball. The score should have been worse than 5-0
Clearly North Side and Westview should come out on top next Sat. in sectionals and advance to state if they take care of business.

USJ is not that good. North Side won the 50/50 tonight. USJ season will end next wk.

Doug Sena is the worst.. Wasn't he the ref that was in the Dyersburg and Madison game last year?
He thinks he should be in the professional ranks. He needs to stay at his job at P and G and stay off the field.
He has been the subject of all kinds of bad calls in the past. He wants to do it his way, with no regards to the TSSAA rule book. I'm glad I missed the game last night, or I would have been told to leave. I believe someone got his house last year with a paintball gun after the season.

They do okay when moving out of the back 3rd. When they get to the middle 3rd, they are passing too much side to side. Just pass the ball to the top middle or to the outside corners. They seem to keep passing until the middle gets full of people and lose the ball.

I think the sleeper coming out of this tournament will be JCS. I predict they will beat Madison Thursday. Madison has no reserves on the bench and they are getting tired at the end of the game. JCS will tire them out.
The game between Madison and NS could have went either way. Madison had their chance to score and should have. Their keeper played his best game of the year. NS has a hard time at the finish in tough games. They pass the ball way to much.
JCS is peaking here at the end of the season. They looked real good against Sheffield today. They are young and eager and want to prove that they have arrived. North
side will not make the final here.

Did I read the score right for Sat.'s game? USJ lost to a 2-6-1 team?

Maybe this was payback for the way the ref called the region tournament game at Madison last year. Wasn't there a problem in that game? Refs will not get any better in tournament play. Dyersburg took this game lightly. All it was to it. Good job Madison.

Clearly these 2 will end up in the Region finals. What is up with McNairy playing all the weak teams twice and padding the win-loss record. Why are they not in the USJ Tournament this year? Maybe some of the McNairy players can answer this. I know there is a new coach.

If it is true that your keeper had 17 saves, where is your defense? USJ only had 3 saves. Should have been worse than 4-0. Only having 3 subs the rest of the year is going to hurt. Going to be a long season.

Glad to see JCM (Jackson,TN) having a program this year. What I have seen, they are pretty good. Will they have to go to Memphis and play their region since there are no teams around in their district? Will they be in the same boat as Sheffield coming to the region 8 tournament.

Haywood tried to get the game for 2:00, but coach from North Side would not have it. Was not much difference in the temp from 2-4. North Side had been a class act until all of this happened.
They knew yesterday morning that it was going to be a forfeit. North Side would have beaten Haywood, but at least play the darn game. What goes around will come around, and it will come around to North Side next Wed. No way they will beat Chat. Christ. Do not see it. They will see the flaw in NS back defense and it will be over with quick.
By not playing today, it brought back some of the chapman era days. The coach from Haywood is a good coach and nice guy. SHOULD HAVE PLAYED THE GAME!
By the way, I heard the ref's in the Madison game was not up to par. What about LB 19?
Can Westview get by Notre Dame or Knoxville Cath.
