QUOTE(Mulloy5 @ Apr 23 2007 - 10:05 PM) 826443843[/snapback]Yeh, i would agree with you on last year. Thats a pretty strong case for Harvey, but I have also heard that some MBA players did not like the coaching staff. Now, this is from just a couple players, and there were no names given out-so it could have been assistants and what not, but you can't really say that a certain team loves playing for their coach more than another school. Each team and coach have their own bond that makes it fun and what not. I honestly dont know who should or will win it this year, and to be honest haha I dont really even care.
i would really like to know who those guys are...probably people who were not getting any playing time and were upset about it. MBA's coaches seem to have such a great, laid-back relationship with all their players. it is just hard for me to believe that after hearing so many good things about those coaches.

should have been Harvey last year for MBA
-
what team is looking to be the dominant one this year in DII-AAA

i too like real grass, but you have to realize why MBA decided to get the turf. Now, multiple teams a week can play on the field and not have to worry about tearing it up. As for the fact that it hurts you to fall on it...maybe you should go play against harpeth hall or something...

there is still plenty of time for the big red. they did not play at their highest level against MUS, which i am sure they realized. they need their defense to step up and be able to control offenses

I am pumped to see MBA v.s. MUS this weekend
-
I guess we will see how good Abernathy is this week v.s. Ravenwood

I am interested to see where Preston Bailey, the left tackle from MBA ends up. He is a good kid that does very well in school, which could send him somewhere like Notre Dame. It should be fun to watch him this year for the Big Red.

Although i find it hard to believe that Ravenwood beat up on Harpeth Hall as bad as people are saying, it is early in the season. I am not too worried with Ali Geraghty and Paige Cahill leading the way for the Honeybears

Rob Phipps seems to be forgotten in all of the talk about good mid-fielders. I have seen a lot of good players the last couple of years from all over the place, and Phipps is right up there with them.

Brentwood Academy - MBA. The two premier private schools in Nashville, the best two football teams in Tennessee. Many of these guys run in the same circles, so they know each other well but don't always like each other all that much. Always a lot riding on the outcome, including 4 of the last 6 DII-AAA State Championships.
once upon a time it might have been mba-ryan, but these days it is mba-ba
Who will be strong in DII-AAA
in Class 5A & Class 6A
