Players on the 1st team all district squad from Farragut are: Barton Ivy (Sr., 2b) Michael Williams (Jr., Catcher) Cade Stallings (So., 3rd) Matt Ramsey (Jr., P/CF) and Curt Powell (So., SS). Congrats to all of them and the great thing is that 4 of the 5 are returning. Farragut should be stacked next year.

i dont know about him being able to blast it, but he could've very well gotten on base for us, maybe even a double or triple. he wasn't given the bunt sign but tried to catch them napping. oh well. and yes DB will try to say that they are better than us blah blah blah but hey, last time i checked, we're 1-0 verse them this year.

Sadly, this is true. 2-1 was the final score. the admirals hit about 25 pop ups and 2 groundballs and couldnt get the big hits when they needed them..LC's only runs came off a 2 run homer in the third. Farragut finishes up 28-11. a very disapointing loss for the Admirals

my bad ihavenofriends, just tryin to make a ppoint...but anyways...thats why everybody hates on DB. they make excuse after excuse after excuse. farragut lost tonight and you dont see ANY of their fans making excuses or complaining about missed calls/ blown calls, etc. and you say we are the fans who are classless. really now?

seriously, can you stop with all the excuses? its really annoying and all your doing is making yourself look bad...if this, if that, DB would have won state IF....just accept it, DB is a SUB state team and nothing more

farragut tomorrow at 6...but i was at the field today and i have never seen a field with so much water on it...so more than likely they will play monday or maybe even tuesday

hm too bad he's a senior in high school...but nice try... i guess it helps to be a snotty nose rich kid when you play baseball doesnt it? i mean 3 state titles in four years isnt bad for bein a rich kid is it? maybe DB should take out a loan and that way they can win something

farragut had a scare today..in the second inning SC had 3 or 4 bunt base hits and 2 successful squeeze plays...i believe 4 of their 6 hits were bunts...haha in hindsight, it was pretty funny actually

ok so its official. scorecard has lost his mind. and just like ihavenofriends said, farragut doesnt get on here and make excuses why they lost, there's really no point in doing so anyways. and like i have said for the 10000 time, farragut beat DB's ace during the game this year. he came in in the 7th and we won in the 9th, so stop making excuses because you are just making yourselves look stupid.

In baseball, yes. Farragut is better than DB. The game they played this year was over in the 7th, but the umpire thought he'd give the powerful big nine champs another 2 innings to try to win...and last time i checked...the winning 2 runs were scored off of none other than Bo Burton...i believe down in kingsport he is considered their ace??? but thats probably on jv though right? you should stop making excuses and just face the fact you cant win the big one

has anybody eaten at The Campus down in gate city?? it's pretty much amazing and if your down that way you should try it

curveballs don't hurt your arm as much as people think...it's when you start to try to snap it off hard that it becomes a problem...a good changeup is always nice to have...it can get you a ton of weak flyballs and grounders...and if his hands are big enough, let him try the splitter...it gets a little getting used to, but it is sick nasty if you can get the hang of it

ihavenofriends, your the man...but i cant agree with you right there...they were good in football but the last two years they've dropped off quite a bit (losing to WB???)... and when's the last time they've even sniffed a championship in baseball?? they think they know everything cuz they're big bad DB and they make excuses when they lose to knoxville teams...and who in the world has heard of out of state umpires calling high school games....key words HIGH SCHOOL...just accept that you lost and move on

oh really? a warm up game? haha. last time i checked who made it to the championship of the sportsbelle? oh wait, that was farragut too.. but then again, that tournament was probably just a warm up for DB too...maybe that's your problem..you need too many games to "warm up" and once you get "warmed up", it's already june and baseball season has passed...maybe DB should protest to go to a 162 game schedule like the MLB so you guys can get warmed up...give me a break, DB is the most overrated team in the state.. the game agaisnt Farragut shouldn't of even gone 9..the ump blew a home run call back in the 7th...but i guess he thought he would give you guys one more chance...oh well, that didn't work out either..

looks like scorecard is straying away from the point...when Farragut faced DB...db pitched theyre number 2 at the time, and then brought in their number 1 (bo burton) who got the lost...and who cares if you play 4 a week, district 4aaa is still the toughest district in the state

yea i know DB is lame...and they pitched theyre no 2. when they played farragut, and their number 1. pitched the last three and got the loss so take it and like it...science hill is going to be a tough contender though
