Very true. And we change just like everyone else when we go to regionals. But for our district its just how our coaches have always elected to do it. Really its a disadvantage to SHHS as there 6 singles, Hayden Halbrook, is weak. DB's 5-6 are both very strong 5-6. Connor has improved, and Clark has come along way with his game, very aggresive player.

Well I don't care either way. But movement in singles is drastically greater than movement in doubles. A hurt knee takes almost no effect in a doubles match, where in singles it would almost every point.

DB skipped out on rotary this year for two reasons. 1) Being under rated would probably get us in an un deserved division, like c division. 2) Pawleys Island in myrtle beach champions challenge is the same weekend and we voted to go there seeing as how it was a team set up and gave our team more practice. Also Pawleys Island drew all the best from South Carolina, and NC. Waccamaw and Myrtle Beach High school (11 time state champs of SC) are there as well as one other state champ Team. I dont see DB doing well, but the competition seems to be just as intense as Rotary.

I pick DB Kiser> Rodgers Maloy> Rockett Way> Titties Hankins> Jones Maloy> ?? ??> Clark Miles/Rodgers> Kiser/Rockett ....Seeing as how miles/rodgers DID make to state finals last year easily. Most people? Really i just think people up til this point dont know how much better DB got. Yes i'll admit Webb beat us and they would 10 out of 10 times, i was just sore earlier. Good match webb good luck this season by the way. But THHS is not deep at all your maybe 4 deep? your 5 and 6 spot are weaker than ever, without some foreign exchange student who has played 55 years of high school tennis i see THHS going no where.

Cranking a huge flat serve an getting it in 95+ not hard. Now a kick 95 MPH or a slice in the corner 85++. then we can talk.

Compared to a DB? DB would and will destroy THHS, our scores were better against Webb, and were not losing to SHHS 9-0 either. Thanks.

And also for the record, at Charlotte our #4 Elijah Hankins split sets with SH #4 John Storie, cramped and lost in the 3rd 6-4.

No it means we had an off match. Your team is not impressive especially for a private school with more coaching and availability and time to practice. Your #1 was the only player that came out a beast. Yes you beat us 7-2 but none of the scores were 8-0 were they? Knox Webb not impressive. We won Maloy and Rodgers at doubles at 1. Maloy at 2 (Nice prediction!). Then our #3 (Ben Way) Who is usually consistent and deep stroker, struggled and lost. Our #4 Elijah Hankins, didnt hold serve. So on a good day i would put $ on DB over Webb. Webb wasnt impressive and showed up weak.

You havnt lost a singles okay nice. You have played who? THHS? Okay, and if we sweep doubles thats still like i predicted 6-3.

Hey, this topic is to see what you guys think about DB, they're alot better this year, and SHHS only losing 1 player is also strong. A battle is on, the coins in the air what do you all think?

I know for a fact that most of DB's Top 4 this year could easily play top 6 at webb, I played webb last year and we have you scheduled this year. Webb no doubt a great school, but not on a unbeatable level to any Big Public school EX> SHHS, DB... Just for the record THHS is not a power house this year, they're maybe 3 deep in singles, and no talk in doubles.

Dobyns-Bennett Is a lot stronger this year. With experienced players and easily 8 players deep. I would say they are a competitor from the east same as science hill. THHS is blown out and done.

DB's top six, who is all stepped up, and deep. 1) Andy Rodgers 2) Miles Maloy 3) Ben Way 4) Elijah Hankins 5) Connor Maloy 6) Matt Clark That line up will beat THHS, and give SHHS some definite trouble.

To my THHS obcessed man. From an outsider prospective, DB is much stronger than THHS. They are the only one who really has a shot at SHHS this year.
