Wilkins didn't wrestle last night in the NW 45-31 win over Mt. Juliet. Assuming he pins the NW kid that won, it's still a 39-37 NW victory. Looks like the HWT's are evenly matched bc it was a 3-1 OT win for NW. Seems that this match could have went either way with a "healthy" Wilkins in MT Juliets lineup.

I've had the opportunity to watch them a couple of times this year. They are pretty solid from top to bottom. This is probably the strongest team Mt.Juliet has ever produced. Although, they had some pretty tough teams in the late 90's, led by Zach Daily.

Hello all,
I'm posting to find out what happened in 1995. Yes that's a loooooong time ago but I wrestled a couple of guys from Tenn. One in a tournament called the Brentwood clasic. and another in my home state of Indiana called the Mater Dei Holliday Classic. One of the wrestlers name's was Jude Williams from Father Ryan the other I'm not sure of his name but he wrestled at Bradley I believe. I wrestled the Bradley wrestler at brentwood in the finals and Jude Williams and I wrestled in Indiana. At the time I wrestled the Bradley wrestler I believe he was ranked #1 and Jude Williams was ranked #2. I'm not 100% sure of the rankings but I would love to know how these guys fared in your state tournamen at 119 lbst. Thanks for any help

Andrew, welcome to coacht. Tyler Cornaby of Farragut won the state at 119lbs in 95. Cornaby beat Jude Williams in the semis. Williams went on to place 6th. (Williams finished 2nd in 94) Josh Light was the wrestler from Bradley. Light was put out in the 2nd round. Hope this helped.

I saw Skinny yesterday and talked about old times. Today is the 1st day of sign ups at Bear Club Wrestling. This will be our 3rd year as a club. We had 30 kids our 1st year 40 kids last year and are expecting over 50 this year. I do wish you were here. My son Colin has aquired your head throw. I don't know where he got it from! Not calling the kid names. It was a cowardly act, if you are not hurt. I was sitting right behind the bench and he was clearly fine. The fact that he wrestled the next match against Bradley (and won) proves it. Its a bad rule. If you have to injury default you should have to sit out the next match IMO. Either way it came and bit him and Central later on. Poetic Justice BAby!
