  1. Central is a little better this year,But they are pretty beat up at this point.Kingston will win 35-14,According to the newspaper Central's coaches are already looking to next year.

Do you have a link? Or what newspaper, and what was said for you to make that assumption?

  2. Good one. :thumb:

I pay him no mind. He is one of the ones that "played" in his dreams, if he played he was one of the guys that stood on the sideline and brought his teammates water during time outs or when they came off for a quick breather. We know he never coached or he wouldn't be on this board "stroking his ego" or bashing a current coach or the program he used to coach at. :roflol: Ole ballcoach, living legend, in his own little world. :thumb:

  3. He had some vicious hits. Don't know if he was the greatest, but he was pretty awesome. I remember him breaking a kids neck at Westview his sophomore year, I think. Was a bone crushing hit. Glad the kid recovered but I don't think he ever played football again which is a sad case.

Yeah, he told me about it. He didnt like talking about it to this day. It bothers him still, sad for the other kid glas he recovered though.

  4. McMinn has been deemed an pretty descent 6A team, Polk and Loudon are very good 3A teams, ND we just had too many turnovers to overcome, and I have already stated what happened at Bledsoe. I just think we have played good teams. I don't think any one left with the exception of Kingston that we will face is better than any of these teams we have faced. I hope we can finish strong.

Kingston isnt that good. Yeah their record shows only 1 loss, but they havent played nobody. I seen the game film of when they played Harriman a 1a school and they scored with like 13 seconds to go on about a 55 yard run to win at the end of the game.

  5. Although Camden has a new head coach, they will should still win district. Harpth is getting better so is wavo, but I still think Camden is still to tough. They are getting better everyweek. Coaching wise something has to give. Coach blow needs to give up his job as offensive cord.and give it to sturdavent. I think blow is a great head coach, but I know that all of us Camden fans are tired of seeing the same mistakes every year. For example. Last season quarterfinals vs mialn devon white was running up the middle getting 8 9 10 yards a carry. Then we get to about the ten.........makes ne mad everytime I think about it. Blow runs a sweep 4 times in a row for no gain every time. Milan wins by 4 or something like that. Camden should of won. Not trying to start anything with Milan fans I promise. This kind of thing happens every year. Blow has to recognize that if something works don't fix it. If Camden wants to go deep in the playoffs they need to make some changes play wise and also getting that o line to blow people off the ball.

ROSS DUDLEY WAS THE GREATEST PLAYER TO EVER STEP ON THE FIELD AT CAMDEN.

  6. After reading all the pre-season hype about how loaded Bledsoe Co would be, someone explain this score to me. Has central improved that much in 2 weeks? Three weeks ago, Polk Co could have broke the scoreboard if they had chose to, then 2 weeks ago Loudon had no problem,,, then Central beats Meigs, and hangs with Bledsoe to a controversial last play loss.... Central fans shed some light? Has Central become inspired? Is Bledsoe less than what they thought they would be???

Bledsoe isnt as good as they thought, and far from being "loaded" Polk would break the score board on them too IMO

  7. Wished you could have been there. Even the Bledsoe coaching staff said the last penalty was terrible. They know they were fortunate to win. Chargers really out-played them most of the game. Never expected anything but a tough game from Bledsoe. No way anybody can say they outplayed or outhit the Chargers. We took it to them pretty much all night long. Gained some respect I think for the physical style of play we showed on Friday.

Thats behind us and we are have to get better this week. Good luck to a quality Bledsoe team against SC next week.

I'll look you up this Friday if I make it! :thumb:

  8. Bledsoe scored 61 on ND who scored 42 on Mcminn at McMinn.... So I see Bledsoe possibly scoring another 60 points.... Bledsoe is a tough place to play, ask any valley team or any Chattanooga area team for that matter besides Signal and Tyner....

Didnt quiet make it to 60 did they? Not even 50, 40 or 30. Lucky to get away with the win from what ive been told. I wasnt at the game so Im not getting into that. But I didnt figure they would put up 60.

  9. When Central had the kid (Rayl?) that transferred from Meigs they were pretty tough then......

They were tough his senior year when ya'll played them(I think), they were even better his junior year (first year at Central) and the year before he come. That's the 3 years Coach D was there.

  10. Just saw the Channel 12 and Channel 9 news. The top local story was the McMinn Central Chargers raising funds to support the family of the Bledsoe County football player who passed away. It made me proud of our football team, our school and our two great communities of Englewood and Etowah. Proves that playing football is about more than just wins and loses.

I can hear the headlines next on CoachT from Bentley or Ballcoach.. Goodin didnt raise enough money for Bledsoe Co. That is the worst idea ive ever heard of! Why would he do such thing and so on. Hopefully one day they wake up, and the hate is gone. But I doubt it. :roflol: I hope my life is never that miserable and I have a grudge over someone like this

  11. If Bledsoe does not hang 50 on Central,It's only because they don't want too.Bledsoe can pass all night long on central and will big play them to death.Central's heads are swelled after beating meigs last week,I predict Central starts a new losing streak this week!

I figured you would predict them to win for the FIRST time, coming off a win over Meigs as big of a fan as you are! :roflol:

  12. Let me know after Friday night Canadian, and im not from Bledsoe, but I have seen both of you guys play and Bledsoe will hang 50 + on Central, unless they turn the ball over, and Notre Dame only had two turnovers when the game was close and Bledsoe did not score on any, several Int in the fourth when game was out of hand

I could careless if they do. I predicted BC to beat them pretty bad. I'm just saying Bledsoe won't need to hang 50+ on Central to "win". If they get the thrill of scoring as many points as they can on a team that isnt that good, more power to them. :thumb: But they will play someone that is better than them one night and might be in Centrals shoes one day.

I'm not saying that Bledsoe isnt good, and Central is going to win. But I just dont think they will hang 54 on Central. And I dont really see Central scoring 20 either.. I can see something like 42 and Central only scoring 7 maybe 14.. But I dont really see them hangin 54 or 61 on Central.. They like to run the ball and that keeps the clock moving.. I could be wrong, I guess we will see Friday night.

    My Predicition: Bledsoe-42 Central-14

  14. My thoughts and prayers go out to Bledsoe County. RIP to the young athlete, that is such a tragedy.

Now onto the football game. I'm not sure how Central will react coming off of a win, but i'm not sure where Bledsoe County will react going through the loss of a teammate. I'm going to say this week is a toss up, and I will have my prediction later in the week. :thumb:
