Not being rude either, just saying if these schools are upset about it they should make a complaint. If not it's just going to be the usual complaining about transfers.

I agree then they can find out she did actually move into the district and she is qualified to play under the rules of TSSAA .

One of the schools affected should make an official complaint.

Not trying to be rude but if u call TSSAA her mom will answer the phone ... She works at TSSAA so I feel confident she knows the rules ..

I am really not trying to be ugly at all but they are not number one because they haven't played anyone. I know Riverdale has played some top 50 teams (according to hoopgurlz) and riverdale has won . I am sure they are a great team... And after state they may get that #1 if they win the whole thing . It has nothing to do with how many D1 players you may have on your roster .

Fury tied 3 - 3 with the So Cal Firecrackers and then they beat the Strike Force 13 to 1

Lacye Walker, Jackie Baird, and Kendall Hooper all hit homeeuns today!! Way to go FURY!!

I only posted something because I have been on this web site for years and I just get tired of ppl saying negative stuff about the other teams especially when they are not part of the team in no way form or fashion.

TN Xplosion and Team Worth are both great teams and the should have been invited!

TN has been respresented well in all tournaments!!

And yes my daughter, Tory Lewis, does play for the Fury and we have worked hard along with all of our coaches and parents to get where we are today!!

GO FURY and after this week I will be screaming GO LADY VOLS!!!!!!!

Whatever!!! Firecrackers, USA Athletics, Breeze, heck 1/4 of the field was from CA but they were not any good this year I guess.What if one of them wins the Premier?

 

And the "So called Premier" that gave out hand picked invites to 3/4 of the field, but not to the TN Xplosion. Even after run ruling several of these "TOP" hand picked teams????

 

Now to the good stuff!! You should be thanking Ms Fagan and Hooper for going with you to the Gold Nationals!!! I was surprised to see them start game one since the Fury has had pitchers and catchers all year, but those girls carried your team. Are you picking up any more Worth players to help you? They are great players and will do well in CA.

 

And PS, tell your coaches to decide what the batter is going to do at the plate before she takes the first pitch. That yelling and arguing with each other across the field gets ugly and quite frankly, it looks bad. And I'm guessing that batter was really pumped up when they yelled out "Well she hasn't had a hit all week"!!!! But then again, I have not been to the Fury Fastpitch Academy. This is probably some high tech training method used by you guys!!!

We are very thankful for the the Haley and Kendall picking up with us !! And they did help us a lot!! Haley is a great pitcher and Kendall is a great catcher!!

But the Fury girls did score the runs!! We just ended up a few short!!!

I am sure no one yelled out that because she had a hit eariler in the game!!

And alot of the WEST coast teams did stay home! The Winners (So Cal Sorcerer) from last year did not come and the WORTH Firecrackers did not show up either! I am sure because they have like 5 girls on the JR National team playing this week. They will be at the Premier, so we will see Oh and the CA Breeze is not going to Premier!

Ok first of all I was also asked to pay the $3 dollars to park and when I asked if it was a donation they said yes without hesitation??? And further more if your were not happy or misinformed the concession stand gave you your money back!! A lot of schools do this as a fund raiser! Tyner I believe does it for the band and Brainerd does it also. It is nothing really new because we were at Volleyball state in 2008 and Siegle charged everyone $5 dollars to park!!!

I agree there should have been signs!! And I hope they do that next time!

When did Grainger County become part of Division II AA??

I still like Chadarryl Clay, she had 32 pts against Brentwood Academy. She was 10 for 16 from the field. She also had 7 assists that game. I realize she is only a 10th grader but I still think that is impressive!!
