I've been to all the sites, Vandy, MTSU (alma mater), Tech, and UTC. UTC is by far the best experience. Parking was convenient, easy into stadium, restaurant right outside of stadium.

There really are no what I would call MAJOR upsets at this time of the year. That's unless you get say a team kind of like the Lookout Valley loss to Harriman. Harriman was a #7 seed in their own District tourney while Lookout Valley was #1. That's an upset when you combine that with their overall records. Would it have been a MAJOR upset if TCA lost to Union City? I would say in between a mild & MAJOR upset because Union City was in the state tourney last season.

Yes there are upsets but it's 1 game! That's what makes these games so tough. One & Done! I also agree that all these 1 run semifinal games are certainly due to each team pitching their ace pitchers. However, not ALL of the Regional Semifinals were low scoring games either. Most of them were but not ALL of them with still 2 more left to play today. 

Harriman was a 2 seed not 7.

Umpires did not cost us the game.... we did not hit with runners in scoring position. Rockwood had something to do with that. Still believe umpires blew the call but they DID NOT cost the game, Great season Bobcats and Tigers!

Typically U1 has it to the base and then it's U3's. Over the bag and then foul is a tough call, but I think it's a dead ball once U3 hollers foul because of the advantage.

The unfortunate part is if they blow it as it sound like they did.... No appeal just be told do better job next time

Oliver Springs has Gant who was pitcher of the year in district 4 last year and some other good arms but who knows if they can pitch. What i think about Oliver Springs is that they have good coaching and return a few kids that played a lot last year and some young talent. You can't ever count them out... Wartburg was the Robinson kid that to me looked like he threw the hardest in the district as a freshman last year. He can throw! They could also come up with some good pitching and they are well coached all around. Can't wait to get started tho it should be a good season for 4A and the region 2A

Directions sound about right 2 -2 1/2 hour drive depending on traffic.

Im not a big OS Im just a fan of my little cousin on the team... but I went to the Game last night and i took this away from it...... WOW.... I love the way bracket (or however you spell it) has got away from the old school OS way of doing things... Hes learned with the talent he has.. that he cant run it up the middle everytime... and completely changed the offense. Those boys moved the ball very well ...and their defense was pretty good too... They have a swag about them.. they want to win.. and they think they can.. more power to them.. Good luck bobcats

If youre taking a shot at Coach Johnson, get a clue.... it worked. By the way he didnt run up the middle all the time he ran the sweep a lot. Coach Brackett is doing a great job. Get behind him and the team.
