  1. i don't think that a mercy rule is right for soccer. in this type of game the full time needs to be played. now on the note of running up the score I have never been a huge fan of. A team should restrict itself, even the rules like you have to score off headers really isn't great because it humiliates the losing team even worse. Pass the ball around run out the clock.

If my SOCCER game called early for goal diffrential I would feel even worse about the game

  2. I seriously doubt his ankle was hurt more than Dean's if he could play on it. Oh and you forgot to compliment Hume Fagg on their head butting and cheap shot skills. They excelled in that area.

Haha.. you make me laugh man. Still talking trash after the season is over and the "hume fagg" refrence is great...real original. I guess you are still bitter about losing to hume fogg in region and getting knocked out first round of state. and if dean truly thinks that he got hurt on a cheap shot i would be surprised, but maybe he does.

  3. Everything said on this thread is just going to fuel hume fogg even more to pull the upset. I don't care who you play for, no one likes to be discredited. We've shown that we belong in th finals with cak. we've beaten teams along the way that many think deserve it more, but our team is emotionally motivated and peaking at the right time to play the champs. To everyone that says we have no chance, come to the game tomorrow and see for yourselves that we can play with the big boys. Thank you bigG for your kindness regarding our team and the posts about us. I and the hume fogg team look forward to playing you tomorrow in the finals. Good luck to you and cak.

  4. Let's look at it on the other hand. If a player gets one red card, he is watched like a hawk for the rest of the season. From then on out he is treated specially and refs tend to look for resons to send him off again. I've seen it happen and i think that someone needs to talk to refs about that.

  5. It's pretty much a soccer field that got bombed /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />.

West End's field is better this year than in years past. It is also held in comparison to all of the private schools that are in the district, which pay people to take care of their fields. Hume Fogg seems to deal with it because that have lost only one district game in four years at home (to FRA in 2004).
