The only thing that worries me about the game is their field, I bet its a mess. I dont think I have ever seen a field as nasty as this one when its wet. It smells like stagnant pond water. I watched a punt come down and stick in the ground at the Cherokee game.Idontknow how they let the kids play in a mess like this due to staph infection and lord knows what else. With the rain we have had lately it has to be a swamp.

Most definitely Pujo, we are going to have to bring our A+ game to come out with a second win over the Longhorns. These guys better have some fire or it will be a long night. Having said that, if they cut down on turnovers and penalties, it can be done. No disrespect to North Greene but playing teams that are down dont really seem to make us better, but we cant help who we play. The dawgs need to come out this week with intensity and determination in practice and listen to their coaches ( no nonsense ). This game could define their season, from being a good football team to being a really good team. Men make the best of this weeks practice, because I know that the Longhorns are coming out for revenge. You men are better than them, and showed it already, but its hard to beat the same team twice. If you prepare correctly I say Hampton 36 to 21.

Know doubt, I think the refs were going for a record last friday night, and Im pretty sure they broke it. I know I saw holding by Cosby several times it wasnt called. Oh well it didnt matter much in that game though, but it could kill us against a better apponent.

The dawgs need to play this game as close to perfection as possible (no penalties, execute blocking assignments, and get that defence up to par). If these men come togeather as a team they are going to have a special year. It takes 11 at a time to be a great team, so take it to the blue devils. If they do this it will be 48 to 16.

Our anouncer was giving final game scores for the area while we were still in the 3rd quarter, because of all the flags. It was unreal

Small kids are normally quicker, and harder for the big boys to block. But thats kind of what Cosby had on the line, and we man handled them when they started wearing down from trying to block and tackle our big guys. You never know though thats why we play the game. Erwin was one of my classes big rivals, I hope it still is. I would love to see the dawgs dominate them also. Work hard this week men, and get those penalties down to a minimum.

Anyone have any info on the blue devils? I havent heard much about them yet. It doesnt sound like Johnson County beat them badly.

The penalties will kill us if we get in the playoffs though.

I think they had trouble keeping it loaded, because they missed some of the touchdowns.

We cant afford to count anyone out with all the penalties we are committing. I dont know if all of them were legit or not ( I doubt it ), but thats has to cease to be a complete team.

I think the dawgs will have to have a good game to beat the blue devils. Please cut out the penalties guys cause this will be your downfall this year if you dont fix it. 240yds in penalties is unheard of . Our ofence has a pretty good combination in our backs ( one with power Edwards and one with speed Adam Taylor), and I think our passing game is opening up as well. We just need to work on the defensive ends. Keep up the good work guys.

Johnson County looked pretty solid the other night. They look better on defence than ofence. It is always a war when hampton plays JC, but I think if our guys cut out the penalties and do there jobs as a team they will come out on top. Guys you need to get fired up and stay that way this week , listen well to your coaches cause thats what its going to take to beat this team. If you do that I see a (28 to 21 victory) . Well hampton looked good except for the stupid penalties, but Im sure that Lunsford will correct that starting monday. I think we probably had around 40 yds. in penalties in one quarter, and still ran all over Avery. The blown coverage and fumble is all Avery had. Adam Taylor looked very good tonight, man that kid is fast. Bret Price ,and Dylan Ward did a good job also. But without that line they wouldnt be going anywhere Good job to the entire line guys, but work on the penalties boys. That will be the difference in a win or a loss this year. Go Dogs!!! This just give all of us a taste of whats coming.

Dawgbacker, I hear the QB is good and they have some good receivers, I think they are fairly young. I doubt if they can go toe to toe with Hampton. Hampton just needs to get pressure on the QB without letting him get outside. This is where hampton had problems in last years team . We couldnt contain with our ends and outside linebackers. I guess this will be good practice for the dogs. Too bad it just last one quarter. Have you heard if we look any better at those positions this year?

I heard Avery has a pretty good ofence with a good Q/B leading them. I havent heard much about there defence. Pujo can you give me any info?

This kid is giving the team a bad rep. Dont listen to him. He needs to stay off coach t ,and try working out a little so he can get in the game. Talk is cheap, let our game be the measureing stick. Not his mouth. As always this game will be a great match up.

Did hampton have any standout players friday? I hear they are spreading the responsibilities out pretty well. I was told it pretty hard to tell whos getting the ball when their on ofence.
