    Only got one scrimmage, tried to get another but couldn,t work it out. They started today and had 53 kids, Went really well from what I heard.

    Thanks for the update Pujo. Looks like we are starting strong. This should be a very special year if the boys continue to put in the work, sell out for the team concept and continue to improve each game. I cant wait to see em play.

    Don't want to get off topic guys, but just wanna say something Uknoit touched on the other night. Thanks to all service men and women present, past and future. Without you guys, we would not enjoy the freedom of Friday Night Lights. A big Thanks to all of you who have served.

    Grace Christian Academy in Franklin, TN is requesting to become members of the TSSAA. Grace Christian Academy is licensed through the Tennessee Department of Education as a Category 2 school. It is accredited by AdvancEd.

     

    Grace Christian has a current enrollment of 130 students in grades 9-12. If approved, the school plans to participate in volleyball, cross country, football, girls’ soccer, wrestling, girls’ and boys’ basketball, baseball, softball, and soccer. Grace Christian Academy will be placed in DI, Class A, competing in District 11, Region 6 in volleyball, basketball, baseball, and softball. They will compete in Division 1A, Region 4 in football and DI A-AA, District 11, Region 6 in cross country, girls’ soccer, and soccer. Grace will be in Region 3 for Individual Wrestling and Region 7 for Dual Wrestling.

    We have Sullivan Central Aug 2ond at Hampton, We have a couple more but I'm not sure about the dates. I'll try to keep you updated.

    Thanks Pujo! I appreciate the updates, cant wait to see these young men strap it on. I bet Jerry will be one of the best.

    I like that matchup myself. Travel would be the biggest problem. I don't like playing Johnson Co twice,but as far as them being down,I doubt that will be the case very long,they were very young this deason. We'll have both hands full with them next season.

     

    I know travel would be an issue, but we need these kind of matchups to become better and to improve our chances on advancing when playoff time comes. Parents would be a given to go, any fan that wants to see a heck of a game would definitely go, heck i went and saw em play Cosby last week. I know times are tough, and that might be a strain, but overall, we both get better and you cant put a price on that.

    I personally think that when the new scheduling for the season starts, we should include Oneida in it if its in the cards. What a rivalry that would be. We did it back awhile ago and each game was hardnosed and close. I think, even if we seen eachother in the playoffs, it would benefit both teams, especially Hampton. Dont know what you fellers think, but that is the way you build a quality team. Play hardnosed football against a formidable opponent. That is how you get better. Dont care how far away we are from each other, we are the same in alot a ways...

    If KNOXVILLE GCA RAMS are not ranked #1 this week there is no journalistic integrity. Boyd NO! Trousdale No! Hampton LAUGHER. How do you have a real playoffs in 2A Tennessee when the best team is at home?

     

    Ridiculous. Means nothing in 2011 because whomever wins will know they didn't beat the best team this year.

     

    And none of these kids broke the rules. So don't even start GCA haters. These 48 kids are awesome! TSSAA......not so much.

    First of all, you dont want any part of these programs, so why dont you play by the rules, then you can run your pie hole, also, laugh at Hampton all you want, how many victories do you have over us??? Congrats, to SP, Boyd we know how tough you guys are....good luck to both teams in the playoffs..

    Boys, better play with your heads on a swivel! They'll be coming from every angle....early, late, high and low!

    We're at least 3 TDs better but playing at JC is a whole 'nother story!!!

     

     

     

    Yeah Uknoit, gotta be ready for that infamous 12th man....lol :o

    Looks like the dogs gonna take off where they left off last year. I expect great things from em this fall. Just wondering if the scrimmage with Sullivan East is still happening today?

     

     

     

    I'm told now that todays scrimmage has been canceled. Shucks!

    Going to be some good games. Rockwood vs. oilver springs and wartburg if they beat OS. All three teams have a better team than hampton ! Weak Schedule only reason they are sucessful every year heard Rockwood showd them that last year.............I'm going to all of Rockwoods Games exciting year :popcorneater:

     

     

    Yeah and you know what they say about opinions right? We play what we play, we cant help other teams records, we are only worried about ours. Might win Might lose, if we get by the second rd, i guess we will see. All I'm gonna say is come on down expecting to play a weak team, see what happens.
