Yes and Novo Brazil's other smaller but skilled player Noah Williams.
Who does Noah play for? Is it west?

I was not able to make it to the Farragut/Catholic game? So did Farragut basically dominate the possession and Catholic got two kind of iffy goals?
-
Who else? Isn't CAK supposed to have a really good Junior class?
-
Does anyone know of any good upcoming freshman or sophmores that will be good.
-
I agree that Ben Backstrom and Jake Russell from Farragut should be Mr. Soccer.
-
I agree that CAK as a whole have been playing the best they have in a while these past couple days. Also, HF has not been playing bad either. So, it will be a very hard fought game and the team that comes out with more intensity and determination to win will win.
-
I am saying that CAK wins 3-0. CAK has too strong of a defense to get scored and too strong of a offense not to score. It just depends on who comes to play.
-
Farragut and Bearden will be a great game. I am going to say Bearden 2-1 with Backstrom scoring Farraguts goal. Best of luck to both teams.
-
Any predictions yet on who will win the final and if CAK will have 5 peat. Should be a hard fought game. Looking forward to it.

Final score- CAK 2 CCS 0
Brandon Tarr scored both. Great match by both teams. CAK had the heart and effort to win and came out victorious.

QUOTE(UGArocks @ May 24 2007 - 04:23 PM) 826466218Dont get CPA wrong they do consider the opponents in their district as brothers but when we played CAK last year we were very impressed by their sportsmanship. It looked to me that they understood how to exemplify Christ on the field which is are mission too. There were no cheap fouls in last years or this years game. No yellow cards or unsportsmanship just clean hard soccer. It was fun to play that type of game. Every other game the other teams just pounded on us and then we retaliated with fouls. Not saying that the initial fouls or retaliation by us is justified. It just that in every game in our district both us and the other team looked for ways to get away with a cheap foul or two. By no means am i saying CPA is perfect and Im sure that CAK is not perfect. If we were in the same district Im sure the game would have had some cheap fouls. But we are not in the same district which made it all the more easier to play a soccer game in a way that represents Christ. Congrats on the win CAK I just wish it turned out a little different. I hope you win state again but even if you dont I think we won something much more important on the field last evening. Thats all I have to say.
Very well said.

It was a great game. Hard fought on both sides and KC probaly was the better team but the ran out of steam and played for p.k.'s I thought that the ND players hit their p.k.'s perfectley with the one that went wide and exception. Good luck to ND in the rest of the tournament.

I agree with Big G about Beckham and Raglands goals. They were both beautifully well-struck and in very tuff games.
-
CAK did not hardly win, they had possesion almost the whole game. Yeah, CPA had maybe 2 good chances but CAK had atleast a handful. The Knox Catholic games were all 1 goal or less. Either way, best of luck to both teams. It should be a hard fought game.

CCS vs CAK will not be the best game in the tournament. CCS vs Notre Dame for the final will be. I am not saying that CCS will trounce CAK but they should win by 1-0 or 2-1.
1. CAK barely sealed thier win aganist CPA last night.
2. CAK is not as match fit as CCS. CCS can go the distance 110 min is no problem
3. CCS has the best game coach a team want.
4. CPA nor CAK played to the level of competition that CCS has faced during the tournament thus far.
5. CCS has a deep bench and that comes in very handy when playing three games in 5 days.
6. The goal keeper of CCS has the advantage in pk's and controling his box
7. 2 of CPA's most potent scoring threats are hobbled by injuries.
8. CAK didnt play like a chapiomship team last night. I didnt see any heart from the players and the fans are to assuming of a W as well.
9. CCS plays with the passion and heart that it takes to get to the finals.
You cant live in the past and believe that you are going to take home the trophy just because of history. CCS is playing for tomarrow and the next game and the next season as well.
I agree that CCS plays with passion and heart but, so does CAK and I think that CAK has the skill to win this one.

QUOTE(CCSMAN @ May 24 2007 - 10:15 AM) 826465985You guys and your greek mythology are still living in fantasy land, you probably believe in santa claus and the tooth fairy.
This CCS team was supposed to be going through a rebuilding year after losing eight starters off last years state team
but they have shut up all naysayers by making a surprise appearance again at the state tournament and they will finish no worse than the 4th best team in A/AA for 2007. Don't doubt this team.............
I am saying CAK 2-0 and Tarr scores 1.
