Hey ET,
Just got a call from my brother-in-law down in Greenville and they played south down there tonight. His boy is on the team. The south circus moved to the infield tonight. The 3rd baseman missed a ball and when his cousin the coach got on him, he beaned the ball back to the pitcher. Unfortunately it only made it half way and bounced towards Greenville's dugout scoring one run and advancing the runners on base! south's playing and coaching went downhill from there. Greenville pulled out a win by 2 runs. Errors in play and coaching are going to kill south in tourney play. East needs to keep practices focused and on task and they will go far.

I am the mom of the 3rd baseman! All I can say is I'm glad you are such a "Big Guy" who wants to do nothing more than down kids, or should I say just my kid. You were obviously were never good enough to play baseball, because you sure do have a big chip on your shoulder... I think everyone who reads your stupid comments can tell. At least you are running your mouth about my kid and staying off someone else. Boy I hope you sleep well at night by putting down kids. JERK!!!!!!!!!!

I thought you were a catcher-oh major league scout there yadier. You giving any lessons? Archer would be a catch for anyone dont need a scout for that.Thats all the folks think about out there aint it beat db? All of them crosscheckers who don't have any time to waste. A's, Royals, Brewers, Braves, and Major League Baseball Scouting Bureau will be there tonight. Let's see... Beat DB or keep your word and get Tristan a look from 5 guys who can write a check. If anyone wants to know about any coaching around here, ask Jeff Reed. My condolences to your wife and sorry you've had problems. I did know someone was helping Smith and Gaby but didn't know who. You've done a good job with them. Bud Smith, now there's a class act for sure! All that being said, I still say that Coach B did the better job on Monday with his kids. Predicting the number of innings that your team will beat another team just fires the other team up. Maybe I shoulda said thanks to the south coach for firing up the Pats. Anyway, this one is in the books and it's on to conference now.

I have NOT watched South play a single game this year, but I will bet my house on it that if Jackson Richardson is playing, he has EARNED every but of his playing time! Anthony Richardson is the furtherst thing from a "political coach" that you will ever see! I have known the man for many years, and I can promice you that there will never be any "DADDY BALL" being played if he is the Head Coach!

The coach at South is waiting on his brother who thinks he is a major league scout to find him some talent.Maybe Jackson Richardsons daddy can help Anthony coach too.I don't think DB needed his help.
First of all, I am a scout. First The Major League Baseball Scouting Bureau and now The NY Mets. Now you know who I am who are you? The reason for our move was nothing to do with sports. Jackson's mom had breast cancer that is now in her bones. I had two brain surgeries.

I know it changes every week. I know the poll I was talking about was after last week, but it is still going into this game.. If a team is #1 you aren't expecting them to lose the very next game. I am not even going to bother arguing with you DB people again.. especially after what happened during baseball season.

I finally agree with you...very good post. And I have to really agree with you about the baseball team. Talk about NO caoaching. GC is fine Ritz is past his prime. caoched for 38 years with the talent he has had, all the way back to his North days, I'd have 1075 wins.

LOL, and thats why GC hasnt won a state title and NEVER will. Wow Fulmer and GC both on the hot seat to start the year off. There might just be hope yet for football in this area. Blew the game against WB last yr callin horrible plays at their goaline, this yr OR on our own goaline and we run an option with the 2nd string QB comin in from the WR position. Also missing reading the option????? Like in that 3rd and 6 play late in the 2nd half when the fullback dive was wide wide open but #7 keeps it, gets drilled for a loss and we're punting again. Dont get a chance to see the film but im sure GC flipped out when he saw that cause i know me and every1 sitting around me saw that the dive was clearly open for 15 yrds and a big FIRST DOWN!!

OK, wasted talent.Among the wasted talent was two of the best athletes on the team.When you start taking speed off the field as well as some of your best linemen getting hurt, it makes for a rough road. Add in one of the toughest three games any team in the state has played and bad things will happen
Wasted talent is right on the money, DBDAD. The Raider I was refering to always reminded me of one of the best LB's, most wasted talent, and tragic death of a DB player.....Steve Sallings.

I don't think the last two teams surprised DB. They are just pretty good and ranked in the top six, while you guys are number two in the state. If our guys can make a good showing tonight,I'd say that very few teams in the last few years at DB have played any better with their teams then this years bunch has. After this game,the key for DB is to try and get better and not have any more kids go out.A lot of smart guys forget that GC had to let some of his best talent go before the season and injuries to some key players have made this a very hard year

Just admit that the only problem with DB is not the facilities or coaching, but rather the NADLESS wannnabes like you. This is coming from a DB grad who is sick and tired of the BS you put out....shoulda, woulda, coulda. If you want to meet the orignal "Let's Go Crazy" boys, then Come look me up if you want to see some BRASS...and yes, I played for Graham, too....but with NADS. Understanding that you are still wet behind the ears, let me point you in the right direction...: find either of us bookends from '84 and we'll hang 'em out.

if theres a high school kid throwing 125(+) pitches every 4-6 days, then they can consider themselves a man among boys.
ive never heard of anyone capable of "accomplishing" this feat, much less a coach that is willing to push a kid that far. id hope there isnt anyone doing this to players anywhere in the state.
Wow, I didn't know anyone in H.S. was getting paid $10,000,000 a year.
