  1. No I'm pretty sure Brentwood Academy (10 state championships), Montgomery Bell Academy (8 state championships), Battle Ground Academy (6 state championships), Riverdale (4 state championships and almost all coming in the last decade), and probably more have greater football tradition in middle Tennessee than the Gallatin Green Wave who have 3 state championships. This is not taking anything away from them but these other schools have better and more prestigious football tradition in middle tennessee.

tradition isnt all about state championships sweetheart if he was refering to that he wouldve said state title instead of tradition. tradition has to do with pride, work ethic, and giving your all on every play for the people that have played there before you AND will play there after you

  2. Nextbest09, DeckerDominato..., barnburner and the rest of the trashtalkers now will be heard no more.

Gallatin played their best game of the year tonight. Key--they tackled very consistantly. Great job tonight!! Cody Matthews and Boo did a great job at QB. The offensive line blocked better than they have since the Glencliff game. Will Pate had an excellent game with a couple of huge catches. Great job by Sweat and Gleaves really getting after the Qb. #44 really put the hit on a couple of their runningbacks as well. Overall I thought we were very focused and played a great game especially on the defensive side of the ball. The whole atmosphere was a ton better than the past two weeks. I also thought that the play calling was very good. We finally threw down the field a couple of times and really made Hendersonville respect the long ball. Which opened up the running game. Woods didn't connect on any passes but he sure was open several times...good game. And Satterfield did a very good job getting the ball away and really put the Commandos in a hole. If we play like that next week we have a very good shot at beating McGavock who got a huge win tonight.

Up by 35pts in the third.....please.

So how do you like your CROW??? Cause you be gonna eatin it fo another year!!

couldnt have been said better. we played better than ever tonight.

all the trash that had been talked is ok...but just remember you gotta be able to back that trashtalking up...note that to self

  3. if i remember correctly earlier in the post i said i cant wait to see the tears in you guys eyes well im sure i saw atleast 4 people crying tonight im not trying to rub anything in i just didnt like when you all quoted that post then got proved wrong. yall played a good game and tryed to spark a comeback but the atmosphere was just to much.

    GREAT GAME GREENWAVE!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Yes it was a pick but would have been called back for interference. If the punter didnt have control of the ball then how did he get off of his knee and punt the ball?

evidenally you werent at the game because it was obvious that the punter didbt have control and was bobbling the ball until he wass standing up completely but its over and done with wheter it was the wrong call or not its a "L" on our record and a "W" on theyres i just hope we come off of a lose like that the right way

  5. Just a couple of facts about the 2 calls in question. #1. The inadvertant whistle actually hurt Antioch because def. pass interference was called and this would have been a 1st down for Antioch. #2. The punter was ruled down because he went to a knee to field the bad snap.

well the inadvertant whistle still was a pick and even if the punters knee was down he didnt have control of the ball

  6. Yea Hillwood and Glencliff are HUGE games

yea well i guess we will just see how yall come through under the pressure of winning the region. i mean yall always have came through under pressure of being the region champs havent you. i guess we will just have to see how that goes and thanks poo poo GREAT point

  7. I take it from your reply that you are a player for Gallatin. If you want these kinds of post to stop then you boys need to start playing with fire in you belly and with a purpose. I know you guys are frustrated and don't want to loose any games but you boys are the only ones that can do something about it! It looks like you all are out there just going through the motions much of the time. You guys need a leader and some kids to start stepping up. I hope you win out and play for the championship but I and all the other fans can only hope for it... you guys are the ones that have to make it happen.

yea i play im #6 a wide reciever and i know we lack leadership thats why im tryin my hardest to step up and see what i can do about that. ill tell you startin monday that we wont lack the leadership and all the bad practices are begind us cause that where it starts, not on friday night, it starts monday and believe me from now on practice is gonna be more intense and meaningfull (sp) than ever before, take my word for it...and you all just stay behind us and were gonna strive off of the SUPPORT!!!

  8. id really appreciate it if yall would quit posting all this crap on here about "can gallatin get it together" or "green wave defense" we get enough ridicule as it is so let us handle it without all the talk. you all act like this is the worst start gallatin has been off to, but if im not mistaking there was a team a little while back that started 0-3 and went to the semi-finals of the playoffs...just let us handle it

  9. well all i know is that i drove by the hhs practice fields on thursday and thay were the only team that i know of in the county to go full gear in 106 degreee heat. CAN U TOUCH THAT!

um yes gallatin did it three times a day in chatanooga. it was 107 degrees there.

  10. Im tellin you right now this is gonna be the region to watch this comin season but im pickin em like this

1.Hendersonville-always tough, hardest workers in the region

2.Antioch-always the most talented team in the region

3.Hunters Lane-lost key players but theyll be in the playoffs

4.Gallatin-Lost thier entire team but they always show up to play

Possible Suprise-Overton you never hear about these guys but they have a key rb comin back this year that could lead this team to some upsets this season.

ok well the only thing that gets me the most about this post is that i strongly disagree that hendersonville are the hardest workers in the region. i would have to say gallatin is, hands down.

  11. as a former member of the gallatin team i know what this year is gonna be. i praticed with the group of seniors this year. not any of yall were there to see how lazy they were when it came time to pratice. they just piddled around until pratice was over. you try to say last years seniors had no team unity then how do you expect 43 seniors to stay together since there freshman year. all those group of seniors did was encourage the underclassmen and teach them how to be better. lets see how good they will be this year when they don't have the talent that they have had since they came in to the varsity program. they are going to sturggle and everybody knows it. when you have a guy on there team having to make up 15 workouts because he can't make his 23 workouts for the summer you call team unity. when parents of seniors say their is not leadership that everybody does what they want to do you call that team unity. i love gallatin football and would never dreamed of playing any where else but i feel sorry for the coaches this year that they work hard for nothing. truth hurts hendersonville still stinks

Considering theres only six people who didnt make all theyre workouts andtwo or three of them didnt have another choice. Yes thats team unity. If there was team unity last year they wouldve went further then the first round of the playoffs. Talent is great but having a group of kids that work hard is far better. And from what I hear this years two-a-days were some of the best there has ever been. I guess we will just have to wait and see. But last year, no there was not any team unity. Theyre were constantly arguements between the senior class and whoever else. There might have been unity in the senior class but not in the TEAM. You call urself a gallatin fan? You say you are a former green wave? Well from what i see theres not much passion in you for the team. I think we all know the saying, once a green wave always a green wave. Show it sometime and support every group of kids that come through.

  12. Regardless of how they finish, can they make it past the first round of the playoffs?

Gallatin is a different team this year. Last year they had all types talent but they had egos all over the field and abslutely no team unity. Thats why they went 10-0 and lost in the first round. Thats what having no team unity gets you. Team unity comes in when ur playing teams better then you and your down. The players pull together and one team working together is far stronger then 11 individuals doing theyre own thing. This team has much more team unity and i think will pull together when they need each other.

  13. I dont know how it will affect the region. All i know is these kids are always tought good character and the ability to give there best at everything they will do. They are still the region champs untill somebody takes it from them. Thats always a hard thing to do no matter what kind of team they have. They're looking to three-peat this year.

  14. Gallatin are the champs untill somebody knocks them off. They will be lacking in experience but these kids have character and are not used to losing. Antioch is very talented but dont have the ability to win in big games. But they will be knocking on the door this year. And then theres Hendersonville. I think it will be up for grabs between Gallatin and Hendersonville. And who EVER knows how that games going to turn out.
