West has to be heavy favorite, Bearden always good even after graduation, LC will miss Windle, WB, new coach has them playing better, more time with them will help, WB moves to middle of district, Heritage with best players now seniors will win more this year, not sure they can get out of the bottom, Farragut, Catholic, Maryville are always hard to beat, not sure how they are playing, have not seen or heard much from them this summer. rankings closer to season.

No offense (and no pun intended), but do you really think that WB offense can put up 27 when MHS scored 38. HHS defense is not really a pushover like in the past and the offensive line has begun to gel. Now, I can agree that WB does have some nice athletes, but not quite like in past years. WB may win, but I think 27-10 is a little extreme.

How long has this coach been at WB? A couple of years ago we came into your stadium and saw signs that said have fun playing out freshman!!!! Not to sportsmanlike. the next year we beat WB .My point is teams cycle up and down, are yall rebuilding or is this a new coach?

Just to let you know, people got in trouble about those signs, The cheerleaders now have a banner that is used each game for the team to run through. That was bad sportsmanship and hopfully that will not happen again.

Went to Catholic tonight expecting to see a power house, what with high ranking and all the talk on coachT. Some are even saying one lose season. After witnessing tonights I see at least 2 more loses for them, 1 to Maryville, 2nd to Bearden. Maryville should win by at least 14 to 17, Bearden game will be close but see dogs pulling out win.

G-Men had a great comeback, I checked the news last night, and it said they came back from a 28-14 deficit, I did not know that they were down 28 before their first score until reading the paper this morning. To bad they did report that on the local news, thats awesome. It seems as though the coaches made the proper adjusments at the half to slow down Jc on offense. No, it wasn't at half, about half way thru 2nd,# 57 came in on defense and plug the big hole that #33 for Jc keep going thru. Also offense got going and scored 2 TDs before half. Not sure #57 name, think its Randall, not sure, some one that knows please let us know.

Have not got to see clinton play, but Karns has a very good QB and a good passing team. I believe they will score 2 to 3 TDS. Clinton may very well win, but their defense had better come ready to play.
