    I would like to know HOW IN THE HECK did Clarkrange NOT get someone in the running for Miss Basketball in single A.

    This team has a perfect record and are obviously the Class A State Champs......once again.

    I know the finalists have already been done and more than likely the winner has been chosen but there are clearly a few Lady Buffs that have contributed to four years of success at Clarkrange. Heck...give the whole team a trophy....they deserve it. Congrats Lady Buffs on a great year. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

     

    But the key to that is their a team. That truly doesn't have just a stand out player, they all come to play every night TOGETHER. I mean its hard to just pick one of them to be a finalist. They will win the trophy that means a whole heck of a lot more tomorrow.

    This one could get VERY ugly... Morgan Faulkner is a great player & has carried her team thru the tournament. But Clarkrange has a good enuff defense 2 stop her. As they did KC for most of the game today & Forrest's Beth Hawn Wednesday. Congratulations to both teams for making it this far. Clarkrange by 20+, but anything can happen in a state championship game. Don't count MAM all the way out.

    collinwood and wayne co are pretty evenly matched Collinwood won 3 out of 4 but all games were close,overtime in 2 or3 Collinwood relies on 2 players to score all of their points ,they have not had alot of compitetion besides wayne co Play tough man and get back quick on defense and they are very beatable.shoot maybe 3or 4 outside shots a game. Wayne Co. continues to get better they play team ball and can tear you up on the 3 if you let them I woulldn't worry about C'wood you'll probably not see them

    Girls 3A Championship was won by Collinwood Troganettes on Feb 21st, 2009. They defeated Fort Loudoun 32-17.

    The Troganettes came out strong and never let up. Their 2 guards played like they were on fire! Great ball handleing, quick decisions, and excellent execution was their game. They may not have scored alot of points, but they sure knew how to get the party started. The three deep worked the ball to the hoop drawing foul after foul.

    It wasn't long before Fort Loudoun was in some serious foul trouble. Collinwood dismantled Fort Loudouns full and half court press over and over again. In return Fort Loudoun was pressed pretty hard by Collinwood. It all comes down to rebounds and free throws and Collinwood was on. Red hot on the rebounds and not to bad on the line. This is one talented group of girls, who will all play together again in 2012. I expect they might take home the 2012 trophey too!!! Congratulations Collinwood Troganettes, you all rock!!!

    Another one heard from the cousinwood gallery

     

    Since we're supposedly all cousins down here I guess that explains why we play so good as a team. I guess its just the strong "family bond"! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

    I say Summertown by 12, if they presure the ball and let Thompson shoot all the 3's he wants to.

    I heard it was because so many little ones will be out trick or treating and they wanted to make it safe for everybody especially the little trick or treaters.. I also heard that some of the kids from W'boro has already said they were going to burst out people from C'wood's car windows...Now that is just wrong...Threre will be elderly people there. You just don't do crap like that....I think W'boro just invents things to talk about anyway so why do they want to get it started up with C'wood.

     

    There was a man from W'boro that said he heard that C'wood had a hate week...We have better things to do beside think of W'boro everyday for a week...We have a moment of silence every morning and we pray for the people with hatered in their hearts toward C'wood..I just hope that W'boro can feel Gods presents.

    Another thing the man from W'boro that talked about Mr. Luker said he acted unprofessional last year at the game, let me tell you something this is a MAN amoung MEN and there is nothing unprofessional about him.

    Lets get some thoughts on this game...... East lost last year. But this team has improved, stronger, bigger, and more expierenced, they are at home, Coach Jones Program is starting to come together. East will have a good game this year with collinwood, lets have some thought.............. Go East

    So you are finally admitting your not the top team but just in the top 4. I never thought I would hear a Collinwood fan admit it. WOW!!! Ya'll might even loose a game this year too, huh!! LOL.

     

    NO I'M NOT admitting that we're not the top team. I'm sayin there's no way we're not gunna make play-offs. & we nevr lose...

    in case you wasnt at the game we did .........WIN......so by worse are implyin that we will beat yall worse....ill believe the wood will win region when i see it.....until then it doesnt make you look very bright to talk smack to two teams that beat you.....i guess it will all unfold Halloween night when the wood rolls into the boro for the beat down of a lifetime...... /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

    Better get ready son, gonna be worse this year. The Wood is gonna bring some serious smak down with em this year. Region 6 champs no doubt. Mp gonna get sum payback this year 2. If you got a feline mascott the Wood will be sure and bring some Kitty litter to the game. Your team is gonna need it!
