  1. GREAT WIN DAWGS! Still would like to see us throw the ball a little more. Mix it up. We have some talented recievers seems like we're not using them as much as we should. Price has turned out to be an outstanding addition to the Hampton Lineup. Turn him loose. Lookout Unaka.

  2. Thats a cute story dogfather, except that Muslim never would have got to the plane with that "discussion" taking place. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> You see, both the Hampton Cowboy and the Oneida Indian would have quickly ended that Muslim's day because of what their brothers and sisters have had to endure up to this point. We can be from different places, but together we toil for our soil! I look forward to a great game, in a great atmostphere......as you can see, '92SC is already sittin' at the table.

My score will come later today.

    You got that right!

  3. Come on up here indians. We can't wait til Friday night. Nothin like a good football game on a late August night. Oh yeah, did you hear the one about the cowboy and the muslim extremist?

Three strangers awaiting their flights strike up a conversation in the airport passenger lounge in Knoxville, Tennessee. One is an American Indian passing through from Oneida. Another is a Cowboy on his way to Hampton Tennesse for a football game. And the third is a fundamentalist Arab student, newly arrived at University of Tennessee from the Middle East who is headed to a training conference Johnson City, Tennessee.

Their discussion drifts to their diverse cultures. Soon, the two men learn that the Arab is a devout, radical Muslim who supports Osama Bin Laden's Jihad, so the conversation falls into an uneasy lull. The cowboy leans back in his chair, crosses his boots on a magazine table and tips his big sweat-stained hat forward over his face. The wind outside is blowing tumbleweeds around, and the old windsock is flapping; but still . . . no plane comes.

Finally, ! the American Indian clears his throat and softly, he speaks, "At one time here, my people were many, but sadly, now we are few."

The Muslim student raises an eyebrow and leans forward, "Once my people were few," he sneers, "and now we are many. Why do you suppose that is?"

The Hampton cowboy shifts his toothpick to one side of his mouth and from the darkness beneath his Stetson says in a drawl, "That's 'cause we ain't played Cowboys and Muslims yet, . . . but I do believe it's a-comin'."

  4. Wellllllll I've got good news. And bad news for the Indians....

The good news, is you'll probably have a air condiditoned bus to ride up here on.

The bad news is it'll be a long ride back because you'll be playing a hungry bunch of Bulldogs in the DogPound. Hampton looks like a playoff team again this year. In fact Johnson County is suppose one of the top 4A teams in East Tennessee and Hampton stood toe to toe with them to the end. Hampton showed the same stuff that has beem taken them to the playoff's. Offense looked good! Defense looking better every day.

    Hampton 30

    Oneida 14

    Go Dawgs!

  5. id say hampton is gonna come out tough this year, we got alot of tallent coming back to us. our O game is looking pretty dang good. Price at QB, roberson and hardin in the backfield, i hear Alex Chambers and Luke Blackman are out wide. Chambers is a good 6'4'' he could be a key reciever for the dogs. not to mention the line. we got some big ole boys filling lastyears shoes

  6. I was there..it was a very, very bad call. The only ones who didn't see the fair catch signaled was the refs. I doubt it was home cooking because playoff refs come from an area not associated with either team (like last friday they were from Maryville). But it was as bad a call as you will see in HS football

It was a bad call along with a LOT of other BAD calls that all went FC's way. The ref's may have came from Maryville but they were on the field with the FC crowd celebrating after the game. I and a lot of other people think the refs were rewarded for this performance. That's the only explanation. But TSSAA will never investigate it. GEE why aren't the semi-final being played in East Tennessee like they were suppose to until TSSAA "changed" the rules again to protect their own agenda which takes care of Middle and West Tennessee. The TSSAA answers to nobody. Their lobbyist in Nashville makes sure of that.

  7. My first post! I have watched everyone talking down on my Piratres. I am fed up with it. So here gos.

First I want to introduce myself. I am the official Pirate scout, Spy, what ever you want to call me. I go watch other teams play and evaluate them for the Pirates. I have watched Hampton play and have taken pictures while in Hampton to give my team an idea of what they up against.

From what I have on them, practice film and all. Hampton stands about as much chance of winning as that Hampton race car yall are so proud of, winning at the Daytona 500. Yeah I even got a picture under the hood of that thing. I got pictures of the tailgate party. Also the Hampton bread and breakfast where I stayed while spying/visiting. I have spied on every team since the playoffs started, that could possibly play SP. The road has been long and hard. Careful folks I am still over here. I will be filming practice this week. Like I did GV last week. Which was easy, their security was very lax. I blend very well where ever I go as I dress accordingly.(hint) I had to eat cold turkey for Thanksgiving on the road. But its all worth it to see my Pirates win. Which they will do this week also.

    You're full of Sh##

  8. man, if the players fight as hard as we do on here, the score may end up 2-2 with both teams having to forfeit for too many personal fouls. Cmon guys be nice on here or don't post at all. Either way, the better team should come out victorious. What most on here don't understand is these two teams have never faced each other so unless you are a player, you will not have even seen each team play (most likely) unless on film. So at this point in the playoffs, all scores, stats, and who beat who, should be thrown out the window. I would love to see a blow out, but I would rather see a nail-biter to the end! It makes things much better if you are on the winning side. Bad thing is, someone has to lose.

Thanks Phil Fulmer for your advice.

  9. South Pitts lineman strength is over looked. They manhandled Gv last night. That was easy to see. hamtons line matches up well with the pirates. No way IMO either team will win by more that 14. Sorry Hampton, but I think this is just SP's year. Thats a special team, and you can just feel it and see it when you watch them in person. You Hampton peeps will understand by the nights end. If the pirates play their best ball, half the teams in the state would have trouble. Robert Robinson is a good back, and a great linebacker. He has a nose for the ball. Jones is good too. If the Pirates play like they did against GV, they might leave Beene disappointed, nevertheless, ill be in SP friday.

You know what happens when a Pirate tries to make a Bulldog walk the plank? The Pirate gets his a## BIT!

  10. None of this matters. Lets not spend the most exciting week of football thus far, by talking about the next year, when the Bigest game of the season is upon us.

The fact of the matter is this is gonna be a GREAT game.> Midway @ Hampton. period

and one more fact. The Hampton Bulldogs are HUNGRY. they know that they cant overlook any team or any game, but they also know what is on the line and how to make thier dreams come true.

    Go! Hampton Bulldogs!!!

    Getcha popcorn ready!!!!

    You're right! Go Dogs.

  11. I believe that not only Hampton but Oneida have over the 361 limit to be in single A. In fact there are some schools in AA that have less students then either of these schools. Could someone explain this to me?

I think you must be from Unaka because both Oneida and Hampton beat you. Did you REALLY join this forum on November 20? I think this is another name you created because you are from the creek -and I think you post under numerous other names. The only way you can win is to be in a little league of your own. Hey why not change the rules. Holding your kids back in the fourth, fifth and sixth grade doesn't work - so hey lets move up the competition into another classification. Unaka has the same enrollment as Hampton. TSSAA and the Dept. of Education needs to look at Unaka's enrollment VERY close.

  12. I've watched football for over thirty years. There's been a lot of talk about who deserves Mr. Football Award I think Hampton High School has a whole team of players who could win the award. Each and every one of the starters would be a standout on any team in the state of Tennessee. It's easy to spot a big fish in a little pond. It's harder to spot a trophy fish in a REALLY BIG LAKE filled with REALLY BIG FISH. East Tennessee's Lake Watauga has Micheal Lunceford.

Never have I seen a quarterback with the capabilities of Micheal Lunceford. He has lead Hampton High School to the State Playoffs three years in a row. He is a true leader on the field and off. Not only is he a great quarterback, he's another coach on the field. Never this year has he not given credit to the players around him for the success the Dogs have achieved. This past Friday night's game against Coalfield, showed what a talented player he is, not only on offence but also on defence. He works hard studying gamefilms and comes prepared each week and gets the job done. He doesn't ask for any credit but he deserves it! It will be no different this week against Oneida. He maybe a darkhorse but believe me he is a Champion! You all will get a load of him hopefully in the next few weeks then he will prove himself to the State of Tennessee along with the rest of the Big Dogs.

  13. I've watched Hampton football for over thirty years. There's been a lot of talk about who deserves the Player of the Year Award for the region. I think Hampton has a whole team of boys who could be chosen as Player of the Year. Each and every one of the starters would be a standout on any county team. It's easy to spot a big fish in a little pond. It's harder to spot a trophy fish in a REALLY BIG LAKE filled with REALLY BIG FISH. Lake Watauga has Micheal Lunceford.

  14. I liked the horns,,,,,, dang ole timers!

Just think what they'd sound like with the cannon, or two cannons!

    Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr,,,,brrrrrrrrrrrrr, BOOOOOMMMMMM,,,BOOOOMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think one of those Yeagar boys up Simerly Creek already has one on his Kenworth (mayby it's a Peterbuilt?) recon Felix (A.K.A. rabbit) would let him park that thing on his lot and sound it off just before the cannon blast?? I know I can get another cannon, that aint a problem.

I forgot to look to see if the scoreboard was up today/tonight. I'll have to make a pass through there tomorrow and see how that puppy looks.

Come out CYJACKET! We won't bite,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,much!

Did you just call me a "ole timer"????!!!! Hey that hurt. I hated the horn....... maybe it was the horn coupled with the dirty refs that kinda got to me. Wait a minute .........I'm sure it would sound a lot better coming from the Dogs side of the field ....... I agree with ya! Maybe we could line the field with Peterbuilt's! But let's wait for the either Oneida - or someone on down the road. Poor ole Coalfield doesn't deserve it. btw i hear the score board is top notch! Kinda like a jumbo-tron. They worked really hard on it all day to get her wired up and ready to go. Gonna be fireworks shooting out of that thing come Friday.

  15. Don't have a clue, but I'm really glad we,ve got one. We need to light that thing up Friday night. Wonder if we can get Coalfielf to cooperate, I doubt it. They don't care anything about us.

Don't care much for them either. Just so our side works . JC will name the score on Hampton's side.

  16. We need a couple of those train horns like FCS has to go with that cannon!!!!!!!!!!

Hows about some plans on how them thar thingies was made???

    (I gotta be careful, grammer boy might still be lurkin) /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

From what I saw at FC - they pulled their truck behind the stands and ran wires to the big horns and hooked em up ta the truck battery. I think the best thing we can do is load the cannon with the real stuff and blow the h@ll out of those horns. That would probably take care of the horn situation. Would like to have had the cannon with me last year at FC. I hear we may not have to worry about Friendship "Christian" horns this year. Some team from Chattanoga might take care of that situation for us. That arrogant bunch...........

  17. It's Footbaaaaaal Tiiiiiiiiiime in Hampton Tennesseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Coalfield fans had better bring their ear plugs, because the Bulldogs are adding a little extra powder to the cannon. We take them one at a time. And this time it's Coalfield.

    Hampton 48

    Coalfield 12

    Goooooooo Dawgs!

  18. Even though we may have a few injured Dogs, Hampton's coaching staff has played all of it's players all year long. Their JV team has only lost 1 game in 2 years and that was to Johnson County at the beginning of the season. If somebody gets hurt, they just bring another good player in to go with the great ones that are on the field. That's what makes Hampton so tough this year. They have depth at key positions and those players have gotten a lot of playing time this season. Look for the Dogs to have their way with the Landers even though this is always a tough game.

    Hampton 35
