This is my first trip to CC. They have some of the nicest facilities in 1a.
coalfield has done everything they can to lose, penalties, turnovers, etc. And CC don’t need the help. They’re legit- 1

CC is fast

Doubtful. Two totally different levels. OZ completely outmatched in this one.
Ditto. It was worth the drive to watch Oz get throttled

And maybe forget the spread for a game.
The coach has them sitting at 10-1. If he wants to run the spread, that’s his call…

Might have been mentioned already but don’t feel like searching. Is there a live stream for this game other than radio?
I was hoping so. But TSSAA says radio only

King I was there tonight and it was a fun game to watch. 2 really good teams who honestly have nothing in common. Cloudland is way more athletic as a team but NG has the easy answer in half court offense with the big girl.
I was there too. NG is a good team, but we played well enough to win. Just because you’re tall doesn’t mean you never foul. There is no way this side of the equator that NG only committed 7 total fouls against our 19. Cloudland never fired a ft the entire 4th qtr and foul ratio was 12-2 in the second half. NG doesn’t need that kind of help, it was blatant. They are more than capable of competing on a level floor... Hopefully we can meet again in Murfreesboro. Our girls have been undersized all year. But their athleticism, heart and drive has carried them this far. See y’all on the reservation Saturday night.

A couple things for you LC guys to watch today. 1 GB best linemen isn't the Bailey kid that's going to VT. I think it's a freshman don't remember his number though but he played great against us. Also, 23 gets all the focus but watch the crisp routes 20 runs. Lastly, watch Carnes in the pocket. His footwork is excellent and you can tell he has been coached up in camps and things
GB champs by 14
I believe that freshman is #53. He looks like a senior... beast

Hey king you have your finger on the pulse of the landerz,I got a question,I thought with the new coach and with different administration that things would be different with the talented stable of running backs up there, I'm not saying that birchfield isn't a good little back but to give him the ball 21times and lacy only 10times what happened to D.Black, and H Blair.
You got one thing right. New coach and administration have definitely made things different... and as long as they allow the worthless @#$& elected as school board member to dictate their coaching, they’re gonna struggle!

If Coalfield wins this game it will be bigger than the US beating the Soviets in 1980, bigger than the Jets beating the Colts in ‘69, bigger than Buster Douglas KO’ing Mike Tyson in 1990. Let’s see how the Almighty Kees respond.
You got that right! This coalfield team doesn’t stack up to the last few. They’ve been beating us 30-40 points in the second round. Tonight we had a 9 point lead in the 4th and blew it. Turnovers and penalties have plagued these Landers all year. Tonight was no different. A couple bad breaks (blown calls) were the difference. That and the zone read spread. Once our linebackers were pulled out into coverage, the jackets ran all over us. Coalfield has a solid program, but they’re back near average again. Greenback wins it going away... and I’ll be there to watch

Well... as a matter of fact...

JC put up a fight and won the game, but we beat ourselves. Sure, the play calling was suspect at times, but Mike doesn’t commit a dozen penalties, fumble the ball or throw interceptions. This loss was a culmination of mistakes, on the sideline and the field. Cloudland was the better team and the stats prove it. But last night was a complete team meltdown. Apparently the Horns are a very well disciplined team, as they were only flagged a couple of times all night. Congrats to the Horns for hanging around and getting the W, good luck moving forward.

Mike didn’t want to hurt jrs feelings. But more than that, he wasn’t gonna have Kat in his ear for running the score up on him. lol Easily 40+ to 0 if we don’t let up in the 3rd. No score in the second half? That tells the tale. This was our year. HHS has tons of young talent coming up and several freshmen gaining experience this year. These back to back wins will be the last for a while... Again...
You heard it here first

I expect Coalfield to clean it up and pull away in the 2nd half.
