wow, I cannot believe the cannon county post r u kidding, 8 kids with d1 scholarships lol, they don't have 8 kids on the team lol, they finished 7th at our district tournament with a score of around 360, they had 1 kid that was pretty decent and their number 2 man is a cheater, he lies about his scores, he'll be #1 next yr so keep an eye on him if u play them
-
62-60, and they lost the next game to jackson co 47-45, their record fell to 5-9, the only teams they have beaten are class A teams, with the exception of york, and watertown played st camp and lost by 40, that shows how far back smith co is
-
looks like u didn't jump high enough for the win u wanted so bad against watertown highrizer23, but anyways station camp will win this thing easy, and the semi-finals of region 4A-AA at the end of the season will be station camp, upperman, livingston, and white house, with macon county and goodpasture lookin in
-
they stink thats what happened, they are also very poorly coached,I mean how can you expect to beat anyone with 2 seniors and 11 freshmen, its ridiculous man by the way only 3 juniors
-
that guys dumb, I'm glad cookville didn't win state because they are butts
-
payne denman will be going to the UF
its a little too obvious that this is payne denman, I mean he comes out of no where with this statement and his name is the den???? but maybe he can win state next year since JOE DAVID won't be there
-
thanks a lot old wise one, we never would have figured that one out, I mean thanks
-
sissy, both of u
-
woah UTC is #10?
-
well I believe Ole Miss has won several tourney's this year, I know they had won 2 in a row the other day, I saw they won at the Legends out of 17 teams so they can't be too mad, and where is green goin UTC ha, don't get me wrong any golf scholarship is a good one but if he was really that good he would be going much more big time than that, and joe had offers to kentucky, central florida, tech, mtsu, and austin peay but he has wanted to go to ole miss for a while, and when exactly has green been competing against pros, and the only tournament the 2 played in together was at the jr state open where joe david was -8 to win while green was like 12th at +10 or somethin
-
hahaha, ever so wrong my friend that is from the same place as green and keeps postin all this stuff about him.
First, who cares what he's qualified for, I look at wins and thats what joe does.Second who cares about his own club championship, that means didly squat. Third, your statement that there are golfers better than joe in division II in TN is INCORRECT, INCORRECT, INCORRECT, I've got proof, and that golf strength goes 1.west, 2.Middle, and last3.east, your pathetic little east
2007 State Championships
A-AA
Team
Lipscomb-599-MIDDLE TN
Individual
Joe David-135-MIDDLE TN
AAA
Team
Houston-595-WEST TN
Individual
Drew Miller-MIDDLE TN
Division II Class A
Team
St.George's-623-WEST TN
Individual
Hunter Kraus-142-WEST TN
Division II Class AA
Team
Baylor-568-EAST TN
Individual
Will Pearson-139-WEST TN
Yes, count it buddy EAST IS THE WEAKEST
THATS 4 CHAMPIONSHIPS for WEST TN, 3 for MIDDLE, and only 1 for your puny EAST TN BABY
AND look at that JOE DAVID had the LOWEST INDIVIDUAL SCORE OUT OF EVERONE 64-71 and the amazing thing is how much lower he would have went on day 2 but the wind was blowing very hard
AND THE 2ND and 3RD LOWEST scores also go to MIDDLE TN as a boy From LIPSCOMB shot 137 to finish second in A/AA while 3RD wen to Clarksville Drew MILLER who shot 138 to win AAA which proves individual wise middle tn is the best
By the way, who did Miller beat out in a playoff, your little redneck friend Hunter Green, He will be on the tour one day, not the PGA, but BLUE COLLAR COMEDY TOUR with Larry the Cable guy
-
Geese, I am sick of hearing about this Hunter Green guy, whoever posts this stuff must be from east Tn
He is NOT the best golfer in the state.Clearly Joe David is, and the records show it

Dekalb won the district in Cookeville today.
Three of Dekalbs players were in the top five medalists. Denman shot a 66. Goodwin had a 77, Garrett 78 and James 81. The match was played at Cookevill Country Club and the region will also be played there. Garrett shot a 72 there earlier so he should be lower in the region. Goodwin is getting back his swing and will probably be lower also. These kids are good.
goodwin just can't putt, and I do not think they will advance to state
-
I've got an important question, in the district tournaments how many teams and individuals advance to region, I heard it was top 3 teams and top 5 individuals not on those teams
-
-
yea but that kid from pickett or montery wasnt playing at riverwatch golf course the toughest course in this district. denman goodwin robinson and garrett are the most solid one through 4 in the district, dekalb will have no more than 2 district losses this year.
They are now playing Smithville CC, not Riverwatch, district and region at Cookville, and I'm makin a new midseason analysis
1.Dekalb
2.Jackson-only team that has a shot at Dekalb
3.LA
4.Pickett
5.Monterey
6.Upperman
7.Clarkrange
8.Smith
9.York
10.Cannon
11.RBS
12.Clay

Ill put my money on Denman becomin the district individual champion this year... dekalb is deep as well as jackson apperently but i think when Denman is on his game there is noone in the district that can touch him... and dont think for a sec Payne wont come to play at district he will be on top of his game most likely the boy is a competitor
yes but all I'm saying is one person could get hot, I mean the other day some boy from Pickett shot one under at Monterey, anything could happen
-
What is potential bad blood? Can someone explain?
They hate each other, SC will go up by 4 TD's and still try to beat their brains in
-
yes, but even if Dekalb does make it to state,(I'm not really sure what district 8 has so no analysis there), there will still be several teams there better than them, but they do well for a small school, but if they were AAA they would get destroyed by teams like Clarksville, Cookville, Oakland, Hendersonville etc., but I'm curious to see who all will be going to region and state from this district, I mean, who even knows who will be the district individual Champion, I mean like u said anyone from Dekalb can have the lowest score on their team on any given day, and the Robinson boy from Jackson is a heck of a player, I heard that Jacksons 4th man shot par at Smith County the other day, so they are just as deep as Dekalb, and what about the boy from LA, Ledford, I've heard good things about him as well, and what about a no name, what if someone that no one outside of the players knew got hott and one the thing, thats the great thing about golf...u never know
-
hey, do u guys from Oakland know Carter Pelot, hes a freshmen on tha golf team
-
Newcomer Austin Garrett from DeKalb
actually newcomer is intended for a new player, such as a transfer or a freshmen, but Garrett is pretty good, his only problem is his streakiness, one day might be 72 and another 85, but yes hes a good kid and a good player
-
yes, Jackson County will probably finish 2nd, Robinson is pretty tough
-
I was wondering how the games came out.
