We play them during regular season and usually for District Championship never can seem to beat them way too much talent and that full court press is unreal !

Great-uncle. This is a major loss for Notre Dame. As a freshman last year he had one game vs Bledsoe I believe he scored 30 in the first half. They had two other good freshmen and I think their post, pretty good height, was just a junior so they will probably be in the hunt again. Bledsoe and Sequatchie return good players too. In my opinion a couple of individuals at Bledsoe and Sequatchie are among the best players in the area regardless of classification. Sequatchie graduated several seniors but I think some players who will move into the starting line-up have the ability to do good things. Grundy, not sure yet, had quite a few seniors.

Hows the other valley teams looking So Pitt- Marion -Whitwell -Richard Hardy ? But on the upper end you always know seq will be tough very well coached and wasnt bledsoe young last yr?

Anyone have any thoughts on this one ? Dont know much about Signal.

Looking at the valley So pitt will be tough returning 4 starters. Marion has to have someone to step up to help Brocks and Henegar. Whitwell will have Tucker and thats about it. Seq lost alot . Grundy is Grundy will always get after it. Richard Hardy dont know much about them .

Going back 5 seasons, Sequatchie's boys' basketball won 7-10 with Marion even with Marion winning 2-2 this season. They will likely start 4 seniors next year along with an outstanding sophomore so I expect better results than this past year's record. Everyone knows football struggled for a couple of years but going from 1 win to 6 wins in a year is a good start. Baseball has had some big wins so far, Ooltewah, Red Bank, now Upperman, some big losses too especially in the district-Marion, Hixson, ER, but they're coming along. Sequatchie doesn't have the luxury of being able to boast an "all-valley, all-star squad" in their various sports but they're coming along nicely. All have room for improvement. As for the girls' sports, you seem to want to trivialize their importance by adding jokes. Girls basketball won the district for the third straight year despite the roster changes everyone knows about, lost no games to valley teams in three years and just 2 over four years; softball has won the regular season district and has to be the favorite in the district tournament; volleyball won the Western division of the district, they like most if not all of the other locals have no middle school team and lag behind the Chattanooga programs but they were the best in the local area in 08-09. There's a good chances at least 8 of this year's seniors, boys and girls both, will be playing a sport in college plus all of those that I know of (7) get it done in the classroom too. How does that compare to Marion this year?

Guyear and Muir are outstanding players and deserve every bit of the attention they get, but Marion is more than just them two. It takes nine. I think Lloyd, Morgan, Murphy ,Hill, Shadrick or whom ever is playing the other seven positions are just as important to Marion's success this year. Good luck to everyone this year.

You are right about Fennel playing a physical game. The 6'4 guy completely dominated BC (6'8). Also, Montell coming off the bench and was guarding Corpio like a man posessed. I don't see the Warriors getting any better by this Friday and they could possibly get beat by more than 17 at the Pitt. Hopefully SP is turning the corner at the right time and can make a good run in the post season.

I'm not mad, I hope he plays, we have seen pitcher better than him so the intimidation is not there any more. Where was he prior to 7th grade. When he was in the 7th grade, Seq won the middle district and again when he was in 8th grade. So I guess he should've pitched the championship game so you could've won them. We hadn't seen him much in High School.
