The 16 teams are set. A lot of names that are new to the duals as of recent years.
Region 1-

Than make them wrestle.Yeah possible cheat the second best team in the state a chance to prove it. That hurts the people who it's suppose to be about. The kids. It's their sport their time. Outside that you also cheat fans from other parts of the state a chance to see a possibly better matchup. It's their region they don't seem to have a problem doing it.
What about the people who live there that got cheated by not getting to see the match. The match they paid to see. We're they not cheated ? How about little Johnny grandmother and grandfather who drove 75 miles to see the match were they not cheated ?
The coaches voted on taking two teams from each region to help the sport so does it help the sport to not wrestle in the finals.
You say it is about kids so let them wrestle. If it hurts the one that's it's supposed to be about why not wrestle ?
The last several years they have not wrestled in the region finals. Well the never wrestled in the state duals either.

He was there. In order for him to place 3rd, he had to beat two other skilled wrestlers. No cake walk in that losers bracket.
One of the above post said he lost in the semis and did not returne. Did he place or not ?

The Incident supposedly happened the night before they left for the NCAA tournament last March.

No excuses a few years back as they fell to Blackman, but ultimately came back to take another Ryan state championship. WC pulls one out with afew unexpected bonus points and keeping it close in few mismatches... WC by 5 now but with a complete and healthy Ryan lineup in February, could get ugly.
Well Sommers you were only off by 27.

Edit: my bad, I just realized there is someone else with a similar name that post. Yes the camp went well. #s could have been better but it was worth it! The kids learned a lot and Damon is a great technician! Can't wait to work with him again! I was very pleased!

Ill take a shot at the TOP 10 incoming freshman. Since this is freshman list, I have left of incoming 8th graders that could be wrestling in high school next year. My list is in no particular order and High Schools are based on current club affiliation.

Job Dooley – Franklin (Not sure of HS)

Job Dooley is going into the 8 the grade next year. Would his high school not not Franklin.

There are several kids that wrestled this past weekend that got something from the mats.

You said he should not have won as a freshman. Didn't he beat Casey Brewster by 10 or more points. I know he was up by 10 at one time.

IDEA...... maybe the championship match head coaches should pick the
officials they want to call their wrestlers final. Then disk flip who is the
lead official and the assistant........... You accomplish 2 very important things
1)you have officials that each wrestler and coach respects and has confidence
In a fair, even match, and, 2)eliminate some of the coaches trepidation when they
see who is calling their match

What do you do with all divisions wrestling at the same time and all coaches in the 106 class pick Mike Craft and PA Bowler. Who gets to use them ?
